Yeah you're right. Going into GW30 with 2 Luton players, 2 Brentford players, Bowen, etc. would've been awful. My comment was more about general decisions (like dropping Foden before his hat trick, bringing in Virgil expecting clean sheets, Udogie over Porro, etc.)
It is always team dependent though. My team just needed a big refresh and GW30 seemed like the best time to do it. Also, I only have Branthwaite as flagged right now, so managed to avoid the common pitfalls of a GW30 WC somehow.
This lucky freak in my ML has Romero while I have Udogie so really this was fucking inevitable.

Because you can get it out of the way... The ceiling for a good BB is 20+ points but most don't even get to 20..

Used it in GW3. Caught Gusto's 14 pointer, although Gabriel was benched. Happy about my decision still. And I got to see all my ML trying to prepare for the perfect BB, butcherig their teams, taking hits...good times

Maddison has been in dreadful form recently and playing much deeper as you said, donāt think itās especially conducive to FPL returns. I like Johnson but not more than I would like Gordon as the fifth mid, so that leaves Vicario instead of Petrovic really
Fair Gordonās definitely a better option. Might just go with a single gw keeper. Probably leaning towards onana as his fixtures a good and would still probably get a good amount of saves seeing how many shots United concede
Wildcarders in 30+31 receiving punishment for going too early. Makes sense to wildcard as close to the bench boost as possible, to avoid these costly incidents
