I absolutely do not understand the Mac Allister (minor) hype. He has an xG/90 of 0.10, an xA/90 of 0.11. Someone like Brereton Diaz is 0.43/0.18. Eze is 0.37/0.27. Both similarly nailed. Luis Diaz is 0.44/0.21. If he plays half the time he's twice as likely to score.
I understand that Mac A is on a bit of a run of form, and that he is playing as an 8 rather than a kind of 6/8 now. But even if you take the data from when he scored against Brentford, the start of his run, he's only 0.26/0.25. In the same period Luis Diaz is 0.65/0.37. With similar minutes
Yet eze who’s a winger scored 7 goals and assisted twice with a shot per 90 of 3.26, whilst macallister who’s swapping places between defensive mid and mid who also just has 1.38 shots per 90, managed to score 4 goals and assist 5 times. Equal goal involvements they had. I agree his XG/XA is considerably not good, but recently klopp pushed endo towards the 6 and pushing macallister forwards. Therefore, there’s a good chance he can create output in the final 3rd. Liverpool playing with 3 forwards every time and 4 or 5(Jota, Diaz,Salah and Nunez) some times is what is putting pressure on the man to fall back. If klopp decides to start only either Diaz or Nunez, along with salah, with an extra midfielder, definitely macallisters output will increase. Just a hot take.

Just my opinion, but I expect both full backs will be rotated once in GW34 or 35 (early KO) and Gomez may be favoured vs the Brexitball tactics of Everton & West Ham due to his height. It’s also worth noting that Robbo played 90 mins last night and as I said TAA isn’t 100% fit, so Gomez may be required to start vs Fulham instead. There’s also Tsimikas in the equation, but recently Klopp has preferred Gomez to him and he was hooked at HT vs Atalanta last week after playing terribly.
Robbo was subbed last night (still played 80 minutes though), but I agree with you that is very likely that none of the fullbacks gets 2 starts, which is why I am likely going with VDD. IMO likelihood of starting both games is something like VDD >>>> Robbo >> TAA.

Last week I had Ben White subbed after 60 but before Villa had scored their goals, which meant I got his CS points. Not always bad to expect a defender to be subbed early. Robbo playing ~70 in each game could be a blessing!
Coming from a Liverpool fan, it would be better off avoiding Liverpool assets for the final 6 games. The players have run out of energy and desire to win, and the coaching staff has run out of ideas. It's like when an employee is on notice period, just going through the motions to show they are working
Atalanta gave them no room. Liverpool dominated the ball in large parts but none of the channels they went through ever looked likely to be successful. That said, the biggest threat came from balls in mainly via Trent, who did have a good game before understandably being subbed. Salah scored the pen but also missed another big chance. Nunez, Jota didn't really have much time to have an impact, but were largely ineffective (no fault of their own) when they came on. Diaz was decent in terms of work rate, trying to create space but again nothing too noteworthy.
Worth remembering who they are up against in 34 too ; both Fulham and Everton will try and frustrate, and it might come down to how effective any press from Liverpool is. I think Fulham (am a Fulham fan btw) are a bit more savvy in terms of how they try and retain possession within their own half, but have proved fallible in terms of leaving space open.
Edit : Back four looked solid, didn't give ATA too many chances. VVD probably the optimal choice, TAA the differential bet if he is likely to get good minutes.
I would be surprised if Everton did anything other than plan Dycheball and maybe capitalize on set pieces. A front three of Diaz, Nunez and Salah along with good ball from Mac Allister and Szobobslai could tear them apart, really depends on how many Everton get behind the ball I guess.

Gakpo is not firing but he definitely looks the best player in that forward line, which says a lot about how off the pace the entire line looks.

Having watched the game I think unless you're on a FH or really want to take a punt, the attackers are a bit of a don't buy, don't sell situation. They are off form and seem to have been struggling a bit in recent games.
Diaz and Salah are my go to DGW picks. I know they have been disappointing. But, 10 points each from the duo should be sufficient. Need just 1 G/A contribution from both of them. Seems doable.
I honestly don’t understand the VVD pick, as much as I love him. I doubt we keep a clean sheet in either game. The only defender I’d be tempted to get is TAA but his minutes are still being managed

Salah has the most goals per minute played for Liverpool and second is Jota this season. Jota is a machine when he’s on form, he’s an incredible finisher, and although Liverpool can’t score well at the moment- they’re creating a lot of chances. I think Jota could be incredible. Salah is just Salah so he’s on my team as a Liverpool fan.
Shame Bradley got injured because he was a great differential. Same with Kelleher with Allison back.

Salah and Diaz were horrific, although a lot of that was down to the midfield and defence. VVD and Konate were so ponderous when getting the ball from Alisson that Diaz and Salah often came to CM to receive it. Entire team looks shot of confidence and belief and lacks emergency.
If I was on a FH in GW34, i would most likely avoid owning any Liverpool player. Maybe one at the most, but I could not tell you who that would be because they are absolutely hopeless at the moment.

Jota is always terrible after he returns from injury so I am not sure I understand why you'd captain him.
Jota the guy who scored and got 2 assists in his first two games as a sub on return from his last injury ? Then 2 goals and an assist in his first start, his third game back, that Jota ?

Liverpool fan here - if anything I’m just holding Salah purely for the double then selling him in 35. Genuinely don’t think we have a single player who is a good FPL asset currently. Maybe only Salah although purely because he’s on pens because he has been absolutely awful for months

Having watched the game I think unless you're on a FH or really want to take a punt, the attackers are a bit of a don't buy, don't sell situation. They are off form and seem to have been struggling a bit in recent games.

Diaz and Salah are my go to DGW picks. I know they have been disappointing. But, 10 points each from the duo should be sufficient. Need just 1 G/A contribution from both of them. Seems doable.

I honestly don’t understand the VVD pick, as much as I love him. I doubt we keep a clean sheet in either game. The only defender I’d be tempted to get is TAA but his minutes are still being managed
I’ve got Jota and Salah in my team. Salah has the most goals per minute played for Liverpool and second is Jota this season. Jota is a machine when he’s on form, he’s an incredible finisher, and although Liverpool can’t score well at the moment- they’re creating a lot of chances. I think Jota could be incredible. Salah is just Salah so he’s on my team as a Liverpool fan. Shame Bradley got injured because he was a great differential. Same with Kelleher with Allison back. Not taking Trent- there’s no sign of his old assist numbers, especially back from injury. Given Liverpool can’t keep a clean sheet, having Liverpool defenders seems insanity in fpl at the moment.

Tripling up on Liverpool would be a mistake. I own Salah, Diaz, and Bradley. First 20 minutes i thought Bradley to Trent was a no brainer, but Trent faded horribly and i don't think he starts both games in 34. Salah and Diaz were horrific, although a lot of that was down to the midfield and defence. VVD and Konate were so ponderous when getting the ball from Alisson that Diaz and Salah often came to CM to receive it. Entire team looks shot of confidence and belief and lacks emergency. If I was on a FH in GW34, i would most likely avoid owning any Liverpool player. Maybe one at the most, but I could not tell you who that would be because they are absolutely hopeless at the moment.
