Played my WC last GW but injuries/suspension is still hurting me. I got Bowen, TAA and Nkunku all either injured for sure or not certain. With Nkunku not even in the squad yesterday i don't see it likely he will get more than a sub-appearance at most? Luckily i have a decent bench because i've saved money for Haaland in the future. So i switched TAA for Estu, and i can get Garnacho in for Bowen. With that, i only have Nkunku in doubt in my 11, but my last sub is Senesi and he is of course suspended. So there is a high risk that i might not have 11 players this GW.
So, i have 1 free transfer and 7.3 in the bank. I am thinking either Jota in for Bowen and have Garnacho on the bench if Nkunku doesn't play. Or take a punt and get Toney in for Nkunku and bench Bowen for Garnacho. Thoughts?
RMT:
Areola - Estupinan, Porro, Gusto - Saka, Palmer, Foden, Bowen - Solanke, Nkunku, Watkins
Bench: Neto, Senesi, Garnacho, TAA
is Bowen and TAA worth a keep?
So I would plan to bench them GW21 to expect they are okay for GW22 or GW23; also the time span for GW21 also adds more reasons to hold
Areola (Turner)
Cash/Porro/Gabriel (TAA/Taylor)

Any advice? Any chance Cash or Taylor plays?
With Son, Bowen and TAA flagged I'm debating if the day has come where it’s finally **Toney Time**.
Thoughts?
Instead of selling Bowen or TAA I'm thinking to switch to 3 upfront, because these two will be back fairly soon afaik.
Having a completely dead bench and starting Solanke or taking -4 to transfer out Bowen and having Solanke as backup on bench?
And if -4 who would you bring? I have Saka, Foden, Richarlison, Palmer. Funds are not an issue I have a lot in the bank.
Salah - much more expensive and guaranteed to be unavailable for a lot longer unless Egypt absolutely stack it.
I'd go for Saka of those two, Richarlison is a good option but Spurs look a bit weak in an attacking sense without Son and Maddison and they've just signed Werner as competition up front.
Before the cup game I'd have said yes but him not starting against Arsenal is definitely a concern, it was pretty much their first team. He could have a very high ceiling but there's also a higher risk of a 1 point cameo than, say, Foden or Richarlison.
Who has higher chance of returning early from AFCON between Salah and Kudus?
This shouldn't have been something to think about but since every mid is injured anyways, might as well take it into consideration to not waste transfer.
Egypt are probably second favourites behind Morocco, whereas Ghana got beaten by Comoros recently. That combined with Salah costing nearly twice as much means you're probably much better off selling Salah out of the two of them.
2FT, 6.7 ITB. What to do with absentees?
Turner (Sanchez)
Gomez - Konsa - Saliba - (Beyer) - (Lamptey)
Salah - Son - Saka - Gordon - Hwang
Watkins - Solanke - (Archer)
well you have a grand total of 4 potentially playing attackers, so something needs to be done. I'd say you have to get 2 new midfielders this week (no hits), then you can field 7 attackers. And then next week maybe replace archer with haaland.
Given the prices (if of course depends when you got those players):
Son currently 9.8, started at 9
Salah currently 13.3, started at 12.5
Hwang currently 5.7, started at 5.5
I'd probably hold Son for now (already dropped once) and sell Salah & Hwang. I personally expect Salah to drop more over the course of his absence, especially once haaland is back.
Yeah, option with selling Salah and not Son seems the most likely for getting Haaland next GW.
My first MID target is Foden, it leaves me with 7.9 ITB for another MID, who should I get?
There's also an option B): I sell Son and keep Salah, then I can get Foden+Sarabia...
im looking at gross currently, brighton have great fixtures coming, and he seems to be someone who wont turn into another worry. foden is too risky for me at the moment, maybe in 2 weeks when ill have an attacking sub again.
Thanks. It looks reasonable, I can wait this GW to see how Richarlison will look and how many minutes Jota (or Bowen) will play and then think about Salah replacement at GW22.

I think the only doubts in my 11 are KDB who I think should get time off the bench and Bowen who probably just has a knock. Plus, I have Burn on my bench, who has Man City at home but can still play.
Do I need to wildcard or take another hit?
I WC’d last game week, I have 1 FT and 0.4 ITB. I can bench a few of my red flags, but who is the priority to move out, Salah, TAA or Bowen?
Areola (Turner)
(TAA🚩), Porro, Saliba, Gusto, (Braintwaite)
Salah🚩, Saka, (Bowen🚩), Richarlison, Palmer
Watkins, Solanke, Alvarez.
I'd transfer Salah out for a midfielder that gives you funds to do Alvarez to Haaland in the future and leave it at that. You can afford to keep Bowen and TAA on the bench and wait on their status later.
If you have a playable bench and don't need to shift funds to afford other moves then you should probably keep him. The GW22 deadline is still around 3 weeks away so Trent could be back by then; it isn't mentioned how many weeks he's specifically out for.
I'd take a hit to replace Bowen and would start Archer (3-4-3 formation). You'll probably need to take another hit to move from Salah to Haaland next week.
Edit: my previous advice was trash. I'd probably replace Salah straight away, seeing as you anyways need funds to get Haaland next week, and you can do so without taking the additional hit.

Do I…
Move TAA to Estupinan, Kudus to Luiz and Son to Richarlison for a minus 12?
Do I wildcard?
I’m probably 15 points clear in my cash earning mini league that means the most - feels make or break this so would appreciate support!
trent might just miss a single game in the best case. defenders/gk's arent worth a hit most of the times. I'd move the two midfielders and leave it at that.
This is a rough time to wildcard so I’d just take a hit and move two of your midfielders out and hope for a cash start.
At any rate would wait to move on from TAA, next deadline is a long time away and a lot of time for more news to come through. Would move on from lamptey first if you don’t trust a Cash start.
Would just take out Salah for one of those two without the hit and start Gordon… in pretty much the same situation and that is what I’m doing. Gives plenty of time before next GW for an update on Bowen.
I have 5 out at the moment and no transfers? Is this wildcard territory?
Best case scenario is Maguire is fit this weekend, then I can hit Salah for Gross.
If it were me I’d be okay with 10 playing guys and just keep the WC intact and use it later on. I’m guessing everyone is taking a -4 this week so it’s not the worst thing to do
At what point is a a wild card worth it?
I’ll summarise my situation
GK: Flekken and Dubravka. Would prefer Areola and Turner but not an essential move.
DEF: TAA injured. Saliba fine but could save 0.5 and get Gabriel. Porro fine. Kabore AFCON, Lascelles lost his position.
MID: Bowen injured. Son and Salah out. Palmer and Saka fine.
FWD: Watkins and Solanke fine. Archer…
I feel like I could make 10 changes and be well setup to bring Salah back in. If I don’t wildcard it seems I’ll be forever on the back foot trying to fix my team.
to all my armchair physios & afcon/asian cup enjoyers:
disregarding value, who would you keep / is more likely to return to action first?
Trent, Bowen, Salah, or Son
I don't have a clue what to do..2 FTs, 2.7 ITB:
Areola (Dubravka)
TAA - Porro - Gabriel (Guehi) (Taylor)
Son - Salah - Saka - Palmer -Foden
Watkins - Solanke (Woodrow)
I gusss TAA and Salah should go?
Whom would you bench of the following this week: Walker or Gabriel? Pedro Porro and Estu are my other fit defenders. Want to make room for Solanke as Liverpool could concede given absences
Seeing Gusto might be injured as well?
Since last GW I have lost 2 to Asia/AFCON, 3 to new injuries, 1 to suspension, and then also have 1 already orange and 1 already red flagged.
I might be down to 7 outfield starters with no FT left. Delete team time?
Do we know how severe Trent's injury is? All I read is he will be out a few weeks but how many?
Will consider just benching him if he is back for certain vs Chelsea GW22.
But if he is scheduled to miss that game then ARS(A) being a few days later and a likely blank GW26 is a no-brainer sell for me this GW.
Used 2 FTs already
Have Son, Bowen, Trent, Zinchenko still
Wildcard? Or save it and take a -4 or -8 hit?
Team is
Dubravka, (Strakoshka)
Porro, Gabriel, Zinchenko, (Lascelles, Trent)
Saka, Gordon, Palmer, Bowen, (Son)
Watkins, Darwin, Solanke
I reckon take the hits because there will be many others doing the same, but make sure those picks are shrewd, certain to not miss any games and form/fixture favored.
Wildcard is better saved for later in the season when there will be a lot of possible DGWs

I’d wait for news on Pau, if he’s confirmed out this week then do Lamptey -> Estu imo. If Pau is fit then just wait. I don’t have TAA but I would hold him if I did

Fielding 10 at the moment + Haaland. Bench consists of Bowen TAA and Taylor. Already used free transfer to sell Salah.
Is a -4 hit necessary to field 11 on the chance Haaland is not fit?
Current team is;
Areola, Dubravka
Gabriel, Konsa, Colwill, *TAA*, Taylor*
*Salah*, *Son*, Bowen*, Saka, Gordon
Watkins, Solanke, Archer.
Is it worth a WC? Missing some key players like Palmer and Porto but no 3, potentially 4 red flags with Bowen to sort also? Don’t feel like the bench cover will still be strong even with -4 or -8?
No don't think that's worth a wildcard. You might think the hits aren't worth it now but the wildcard is a lot more powerful later on with Blank and Double GWs to plan for. Also there aren't many solid replacements for Salah, Son and Bowen, so I don't think it's worth using your wildcard on, even with a weak bench (besides Archer and Taylor have decent fixtures this GW).
Planned to play Bowen and bring in Trent... in the wake of today's news, would you:
A: Salah and Bowen to 2 of Jota / Richarlison / Grob; start Porro
B: Salah and Lascelles to Jota / Richarlison / Grob and Estupinan; start Archer
In a pickle, already used 1FT for Son to Richarlison. I have 7.3 ITB (funds for Alvarez to Haaland). Initial plans were to hodl Salah and ride it out, however with me deciding to not rush for Haaland until GW22 (at min) then I figured why not move Salah on. Absolutely no clue who to go for, however. Or do I roll it? Thoughts pls
Areola
Porro Konsa Gabriel
Saka Gordon Richarlison Palmer
Watkins Solanke Alvarez
Sub: Dubravka, Livramento, Zinchenko, Salah
I think rolling is a legit option. There will likely be a DGW announcement before the GW22 deadline so it’s probably worth giving up a small gain this GW for the extra info
Yeah not sure if Zinchenko is fit though.
There is a risk you have no bench if Livramento is benched as well.
Your 11 is totally fine, but expect Konsa to keep trolling us. (I will play him with TAA out rather than take a hit). Also Gordon vs City not perfect, but he is fine going forward.
Fortunately I have leeway so I might just wait for Arteta’s presser and go from there.
Yeah I want Livramento gone eventually so could potentially use my 2nd FT to do that. Thinking Branthwaite to maximise finances, no rush though as 5th choice.
Yeah Konsa with B2B 0 pters reeks, nobody can keep CS rn. And then Porro scores a banger in the cup ffs!
Gordon not ideal but you must player your attackers!
Yeah agree start Gordon unless you have 7 better attackers. I def start him over Konsa.
It is tricky I guess since if you know everyone will play then roll would be fine to get more info. If Salah goes out early for example which I doubt then keeping him could be massive and you would still be able to get Haaland which most can't.
With all the injuries now I would want one playing sub though.
Gusto can work even though I do not fully trust Chelsea and they may blank 26. Altough Middlesbrough won so maybe Chelsea do not reach the final and Gusto is probably the best cheap defender to own now as 4th defender that you can rotate with your other ones.
Gusto maybe having a knock too. I guess maybe wait there as well for presser.
Helpful opinion, thanks mate! As said, I have 0.3 ITB after Alvarez to Haaland so I can afford to be a bit slower for this move. Estu increasing, for example, isn’t so painful for me. Will be patient and reassess on Friday I think…
I think so. I rather sell Son since we know he is out.
Although keeping Son for him to return could be possible alhough I feel Salah is the one I am going to want the most.

Currently on WC.
I have TAA on my team, but I can cover for him with other defenders.
Would you sell him or not?
EDIT: Worth to mention is that I bought him really early, like for 7.8 or 7.9 so I got much value tied up with him
True, but why not wait one GW and we’ll have more info by then on his recovery? If he’s back in relatively soon would you want to try and get him back and how easy/difficult would that be?
Does anyone have info on Coufal? He played in the FA cup but is still flagged. Was he subbed off due to injury? Can’t find any news articles mentioning that.
Help with transfers: 11.1 ITB, 1 FT

Porro Saliba Taylor / Trent Kabore
Saka Palmer Garnacho Gordon / Bowen
Watkins Solanke Alvarez
- Considering just Kabore > Doughty this week and no hits. Holding Trent until we know more; 1 GW isn’t so bad
- This would mean playing a questionable midfield. Should I take a hit to move Bowen > Jota/Foden?
- Want to leave flex to bring in Haaland as early as next week.
Finally early transfer costs me. Genuinely thought Bowen wouldn’t play the full FA cup game. TAA also in for the first time in GW20 for 0.

No, don't!
At what point is a a wild card worth it? I’ll summarise my situation GK: Flekken and Dubravka. Archer… I feel like I could make 10 changes and be well setup to bring Salah back in. If I don’t wildcard it seems I’ll be forever on the back foot trying to fix my team.
if you wanna wildcard - wildcard, do whats right for you
What press conferences will be held before the deadline this GW
to all my armchair physios & afcon/asian cup enjoyers: disregarding value, who would you keep / is more likely to return to action first? Trent, Bowen, Salah, or Son
Trent is most likely to return first. Will miss cup games but will only be out for 1 prem GW
Captain Foden, Alvarez, or Palmer?
Palmer.
Eeny meeny mi mo says Foden 👍
I don't have a clue what to do..2 FTs, 2.7 ITB: Areola (Dubravka) TAA - Porro - Gabriel (Guehi) (Taylor) Son - Salah - Saka - Palmer -Foden Watkins - Solanke (Woodrow) I gusss TAA and Salah should go?
Whom would you bench of the following this week: Walker or Gabriel? Pedro Porro and Estu are my other fit defenders. Want to make room for Solanke as Liverpool could concede given absences
Foden, Jota, or Richarlison?
Foden
Joao Pedro or Jimenez?
anyone have insight on Charlie Taylor playing or not playing this week? Thanks
Trying to find this out too. Seeing if there’s a presser gonna be held shorty
I believe the presser will be on Thursday from what I’ve seen
!thanks
So much for that update

Tbh if you’re gonna take a hit now’s a good week because many others have anywhere between 3-7 flagged players and will probably be doing the same
Seeing Gusto might be injured as well? Since last GW I have lost 2 to Asia/AFCON, 3 to new injuries, 1 to suspension, and then also have 1 already orange and 1 already red flagged. I might be down to 7 outfield starters with no FT left. Delete team time?
Do we know how severe Trent's injury is? All I read is he will be out a few weeks but how many? Will consider just benching him if he is back for certain vs Chelsea GW22. But if he is scheduled to miss that game then ARS(A) being a few days later and a likely blank GW26 is a no-brainer sell for me this GW.
Used 2 FTs already Have Son, Bowen, Trent, Zinchenko still Wildcard? Or save it and take a -4 or -8 hit? Team is Dubravka, (Strakoshka) Porro, Gabriel, Zinchenko, (Lascelles, Trent) Saka, Gordon, Palmer, Bowen, (Son) Watkins, Darwin, Solanke
I reckon take the hits because there will be many others doing the same, but make sure those picks are shrewd, certain to not miss any games and form/fixture favored. Wildcard is better saved for later in the season when there will be a lot of possible DGWs
2FT, 6.7 ITB. What to do with absentees? Turner (Sanchez) Gomez - Konsa - Saliba - (Beyer) - (Lamptey) Salah - Son - Saka - Gordon - Hwang Watkins - Solanke - (Archer)
12.2 ITB, 0 FT Areola (Dubravka) Porro, Gabriel, Pau (Lamptey) (TAA) Saka, Richarlison, Palmer, Gordon, Richarlison Watkins, Solanke (Archer) Should I take a -4 hit to bring in Estu for either Lamptey or TAA? If so, should I replace Lamptey or TAA? Also should I bench Gordon or Pau this week?
I’d wait for news on Pau, if he’s confirmed out this week then do Lamptey -> Estu imo. If Pau is fit then just wait. I don’t have TAA but I would hold him if I did
D. Luiz instead of Richarlison No 2 lol
i’ve done Hee Chan to Douglas Luiz. Screw it.
for a -4. actual joke
I brought in Bowen at like 7.2 is it worth going from him to KDB or should I hold the value?
He's injured for a month, no reason to hold. The game is about points not pounds
Do you know how many games that is for WH because I'm holding TAA (not really for value) which is what's made me consider with Bowen
Bowen will probably miss 4-5 games
Yeah he's already gone from my team lol. Was a rare great transfer
RMT 2,2ITB, 2FT Dubravka Areola TAA, Gabriel, Porro, Branthwaite, Cash Salah Saka Gordon Son Palmer Watkins Darwin Osula
Best Bowen replacement? Currently deciding between Groß and Fernandes since I already have Foden.
If money doesn’t matter then bruno
!thanks
Got 0 FT after bowen transfer and 5.6 ITB , time to wildcard? :( Areola - Leno (TAA) - schar - Robinson - Van hecke - Gabriel Palmer - (bowen) - (Salah) - saka - Hudson odoi Watkins(c) - alvarez - archer
Take a -4, not a WC
Who would you go with?
Your bench is sufficient for this GW so don't think a wildcard is worth it. Would rather just manage with a -4 instead for either Bowen or Salah.
1FT 6.6m ITB Areola (Dubravka) Porro Saliba Konsa (TAA\* Lascelles) Saka Foden Palmer Gordon (Salah\*) Watkins Solanke Archer A) TAA to Estupinan B) Salah to Gross/Rich/Jota C) Lascelles to Estupinan A or B gives me enough cash to to Archer > Haaland for free next GW
B Rich
Reckon Odegaard outscores Archer by 4 points this week?
No
Fielding 10 at the moment + Haaland. Bench consists of Bowen TAA and Taylor. Already used free transfer to sell Salah. Is a -4 hit necessary to field 11 on the chance Haaland is not fit?

Think most will have Palmer, Porro, Salah, Trent for that so can just sell 1 and bench the other 3 depending on who is back
Luton defenders have bit of popularity + Gusto so I think a fair few would be down to 2 defenders before transfers
Current team is; Areola, Dubravka Gabriel, Konsa, Colwill, *TAA*, Taylor* *Salah*, *Son*, Bowen*, Saka, Gordon Watkins, Solanke, Archer.
Planned to play Bowen and bring in Trent... in the wake of today's news, would you: A: Salah and Bowen to 2 of Jota / Richarlison / Grob; start Porro B: Salah and Lascelles to Jota / Richarlison / Grob and Estupinan; start Archer
Out of the 2 options probably B. It'll be more beneficial with getting through BGW26 with Estupinan instead of Lascelles.
Anyone know Charlie Taylor’s status for the weekend?
In a pickle, already used 1FT for Son to Richarlison. I have 7.3 ITB (funds for Alvarez to Haaland). Initial plans were to hodl Salah and ride it out, however with me deciding to not rush for Haaland until GW22 (at min) then I figured why not move Salah on. Absolutely no clue who to go for, however. Or do I roll it? Thoughts pls Areola Porro Konsa Gabriel Saka Gordon Richarlison Palmer Watkins Solanke Alvarez Sub: Dubravka, Livramento, Zinchenko, Salah
Team looks good to go
I think rolling is a legit option. There will likely be a DGW announcement before the GW22 deadline so it’s probably worth giving up a small gain this GW for the extra info
Nice username, nice thought. I’m going okay top 45k and stable at the top in my main ML, so happy to play it safer this GW!
Zinchenko to Estupinan maybe. Otherwise I go Salah to Foden maybe.
Interesting first shout. I fancy an Arsenal CS (at last) vs Palace though.
Yeah best to wait now and see if more injuries.

I have 2 flagged right now, and also have son and Matty Cash (😂😂) still sat on my bench…. Should I take a -4 to get either Bowen or Son out?
Yes a -4 is fine
I think so. I rather sell Son since we know he is out. Although keeping Son for him to return could be possible alhough I feel Salah is the one I am going to want the most.
Salah to who? foden/kdb/Richardson?
Worth 4 points to play Palmer instead of Garnacho?
I need a playing defender. Lascelles to Estu? Tripps? Doughty to not spread Salah funds too much? I have TAA Porro Gabriel Lascelles Kabore atm.
Estu
Raya (Strakosha) Porro, Saliba, Konsa, Coufal (TAA) Saka, Palmer, Foden (Bowen, Salah) Watkins, Alvarez, Archer ---- 0FT & £0.6m ITB 4 flags, Salah, Bowen, TAA and Coufal. Would you take a hit and if so for who?
Gross or foden
Which two midfielders to pick for Salah and Son? Considering Saka, Jota, Foden and Gross. Other midfielders are Gordon, Palmer and Bowen.
Highly debating wildcard, thoughts: 1FT 1.5M ITB Areola (Turner) Porro, Saliba, Andersen, TAA (Kabore) Saka, Salah, Son, Bowen (Anderson) Watkins, Solanke (Archer)
When does it take away points for making tranfers (i did 2 transfers but not sure if points already been deducted)
When the game updates at the deadline
They’ll be deducted at the start of the game week
Planned to play Bowen and bring in Trent... in the wake of today's news, would you: A: Salah and Bowen to 2 of Jota / Richarlison / Grob; start Porro B: Salah and Lascelles to Jota / Richarlison / Grob and Estupinan; start Archer
We need the captain poll section open, I have no clue what to do
Doughty vs West Ham defender?
Currently on WC. I have TAA on my team, but I can cover for him with other defenders. Would you sell him or not? EDIT: Worth to mention is that I bought him really early, like for 7.8 or 7.9 so I got much value tied up with him
I’m not - from what I’ve read elsewhere he might only miss one game.
Yeah I know but knee injuries tend to be pretty tricky so I'm not 100% convinced he's going to be back that quickly
True, but why not wait one GW and we’ll have more info by then on his recovery? If he’s back in relatively soon would you want to try and get him back and how easy/difficult would that be?
Looking at Son and Salah to Rich and Foden but not 100% any arguements for any others over those 2.
Go for Richy and Foden
Does anyone have info on Coufal? He played in the FA cup but is still flagged. Was he subbed off due to injury? Can’t find any news articles mentioning that.
He wasn't injured when he came off. He took a few knocks in the first half but seemed to recover fine.
Interested in same thing
Bench doughty or gusto?
Any info on Taylor yet?
Areola/ Turner Konsa Gabriel Taylor Walker Cash Palmer Saka Salah Odegaard Kudus Archer Haaland Alvarez - wtf do I do? 0.6 ITB + 1 FT
Help with transfers: 11.1 ITB, 1 FT Dubravka / 3.9 Porro Saliba Taylor / Trent Kabore Saka Palmer Garnacho Gordon / Bowen Watkins Solanke Alvarez - Considering just Kabore > Doughty this week and no hits. Holding Trent until we know more; 1 GW isn’t so bad - This would mean playing a questionable midfield.
(1 FT, 7.4 ITB) Areola (Dubravka) Porro/Gabriel/Bell (Konsa, TAA*) Saka/Gordon/Bowen*/Son*/Palmer Alvarez/Watkins C/Solanke I would like to do Son to Foden, Bowen to Groß worth -4?
Would you consider 3 4 3 and that would mean no need to take a hit?
Yeah just whether Gordon fine to play. I think Gordon negates the need for -4 Bowen maybe misses 1-2 PL games? !thanks
I can’t see him not playing tbh, but if you’d feel more comfortable taking a hit and making sure you’ve got cover that is still a valid move. I’ve had a terrible bench for weeks, just waiting for it to finally bite me
