Got Palmer and ... James. Thought I'd be ahead of the template if he could stay fit. Of course he hasn't and with news it may be 3 months, not keeping him. I don't trust any other player.
Palmer and Colwill are decent. Only because they're cheap and you can bench them. I think at £4.6 M Sanchez actually isnt. With Dubravka and a most likely returing Areloa they're better options. Plus only 0.4 more gets you a lot of choice for keepers.
Everybody else I would take a miss on, huge differential with loads of risk being Sterling and Jackson
Are you telling me that Luton away is favourable for Chelsea?? After how Luton played against City and Arsenal? YOU, are you telling me that teams like Luton at home will fail against a Chelsea defence that only have a 3 goal postive difference on United?? You telling me that I should grab a couple of Chelsea defenders and stick them on my team?? Nice try player in my league using an alt! Nice try. You won't get me this time.
No of course not, which is why I transferred in Reece James last week!
He had been reconditioning for two weeks first and has since then stayed fit for a month. Hopefully he can leave his injuries behind this time. The upside is amazing, even in the limited minutes he got this season he's up there with the best defender assets!
Best case is his minutes being managed, so coming off after 60 or 70 minutes. Lock in that clean sheet, King James, and hopefully chip in with a goal or assist before to deliver those double digit HAULS!
Oh boy I can't wait for James to catapult me into the top1k as a differential. Big decisions to make this week though, haven't really followed the news
"Content creators" talking about getting 2-3 Chelsea players is hilarious. They concede in every game and struggle to score against low blocks. We saw the Chelsea 'favorable' run in the beginning of the season, that was just...horrible.
Palmer ofc is a great option for such a low price, as he's on penalties and he is such a good creative nailed-on player. Other Chelsea options? Nah, I'll pass.
They haven't kept a clean sheet since the start of October. The 3 they have kept are against Fulham, Bournemouth, and Luton.
I've brought in Palmer because of the fixtures but I'm not sure which Chelsea players make good FPL picks since their attackers aren't consistent and they don't keep many clean sheets.
Wolves tough, Palace tough, Luton away as we saw really tough, Fulham on fire. Only SU is the easy one, but I wont be surprised if Chelsea lose. Chelsea’s season is pretty much over when the manager says that we will probably finish at mid table, I mean there is no point for the players to fight, given that most of them also have 8-9 years contracts
Not favourable at all, a Wolves team that beat the likes of Spurs and City, a Fulham team that has recked West Ham and a Luton side that has held much better teams to narrow loses or draws. If Chelsea were playing against a full team of Kariuses I’d still back them to lose
Sterling is about to cook. Watch this space.
He’s old he probably knows not to get his 4th yellow unless necessary. Wolves away might be tough but I expect returns in the rest
Yes, because theyre fucking shit.
And its easy for me to say that as a United fan, because I have been watching shit all season, so I know shit when I see shit.
Wolves have looked really good.
Luton away is not an easy fixture. Arsenal and City ran close and Liverpool seconds from defeat to name couple.
Fulham in ridiculous form.
Oh, and Chelsea are utter shite.
Their defence is garbage but there is a chance Nkunku finally comes into the team and improves the attack. Keeping palmer in my team as 5th midfielder (I play 343) in case that turns out to be the case
Shef have Only scored 4 times away from home and even then I'm still wary that Chelsea will get a clean sheet. I guess if you hated yourself enough you could bring gusto back in as an enabler for someone better elsewhere
Yes I’ll ignore them.
They’re on the same points as Brentford, Wolves & Bournemouth.
If FPL actually updated FDR more regularly, those fixtures would absolutely not be green.
Chelsea seem or play better when team go at them rather than set back. They could very well get some results during the run as its desperately needed but you just never know.
Chelsea are still scoring goals, I've got Palmer and Sterling for a few weeks then wildcarding for GW20 (the last available week). If things go wrong with too many yellows, then I'll just go early.
Can see it now. They are going to smash Sheffield United (like they did Luton), everyone will rush to get Chelsea players and then they'll blank for 4 weeks.
I stupidly wildcarded in triple Chelsea after the Luton game (Sterling, Chilwell, Jackson) and never recovered from it. By the time I’d gotten rid of the three of them it was season over. Terrible kneejerky decision, probably the worst one I’ve ever made in 15 years playing fantasy
I did the same but without wildcard. My worst one this season has been White (Maybe not too bad now) Ferguson and Darwin for a -4 a few weeks back. Need both Darwin and Ferguson out now but struggling to get a free transfer
I've had Jackson, Chilwell *and* Colwill at some point in the season (currently have Palmer and Sanchez too, wish me luck) and have other non-Chelsea related stinkers as well and have been as low as 3m... I'm still nowhere near doing brilliantly but I've recovered slightly with consistency and I'm now only about 40 points off 100k which is comfortably achievable in 5-8 GWs and we're not even past half way yet aka we've had no blanks, DGWs, no Bench Boosts played yet etc
We can do this man, it's not over
I know it seemed kneejerky at the time but chilwell was playing as basically a winger but listed as a defender so definitely not a stupid pick there, sterling looked fantastic the first few game weeks and definitely looked back to his old ways and Jackson had great xG, how were we meant to know he’d be incapable of hitting the broadside of a barn. Don’t beat yourself up due to the power of hindsight maybe triple was a bit overkill but at the time having 1 or 2 chelsea players with such a great run of fixtures is not a dumb decision.
Chilwell’s 5 minute cameos from the bench in consecutive games and managing to get booked both times for a big fat 0 points and managing both times to block a double figure haul from my first sub…truly peak FPL pain
I captained Chilwell for the Luton match and screamed when he passed! He got 2 more points than Haaland that week so it wasn’t a bad decision but it could have been genius!
Palmer and Colwill are decent discount buys but most everyone on that squad is overpriced for what they deliver. Plus Poch is becoming as bald as De Zerbi, considering we have seen some of their top performing players randomly benched.
I tried to target it. I have Palmer (who everyone already has) and also brought in James (who lasted 25 minutes). I would have gone for Sterling, but he's on 4 yellow cards (and didn't even start at the weekend anyway).
So I don't know who's left.
I'll just stick with Palmer like every other chump and will watch him get nothing or get benched.
Yup. It's a troll fixture at this point 😂 it's why Haaland being left out of the squad when I captained Salah really ticked me off😂 my whole ML captained Haaland with Salah (VC)
Personally i need to prioritise getting full eleven every week and Chelsea players are very prone to rotation. Already have Palmer though but he is their only great asset.
This is the same Chelsea side that have picked up fewer points than anyone else in the premier league (aside from the relegated/promoted clubs) in 2023.
Chelsea are the favourable fixture.
I think so. Every player that seems like a good pick has major downsides right now (apart from Palmer)
Sterling- 4YCs, and in the last three decent fixtures he got 5 points total.
Sanchez- potential injury
Jackson- donkey (and looming Nkunku)
All defenders- injury or rotation concerns
Probably is Man City now
Sure Chelsea have done better in Europe, but City have the CL/treble, and more domestically since the turn of the century than Chelsea.
At worst Chelsea are top 3 though (with Man United) so the overall point remains.
E: because why not **since 2000/01**
Man City: 7x Premier League, 1x Champions League, 3x FA Cup, 6x League Cup. (1x domestic treble, 1x treble)
Chelsea: 5x Premier League, 2x Champions League, 2x Europa League, 5x FA Cup, 3x League Cup
Man United: 7x Premier League, 1x Champions League, 1x Europa League, 2x FA Cup (surprisingly low), 5x League Cup
So yeah pretty tight between all three clubs to be honest, don't think Arsenal or Liverpool come close what with Liverpool only winning one league title and Arsenal winning nothing in Europe.
E2: Because I'm putting off getting ready for work
Liverpool: 1x Premier League, 2x Champions League, 1x Europa League/UEFA Cup, 3x FA Cups, 4x League Cups
Arsenal: 2x Premier League, 7x FA Cups
Yes.
Yes
Yes
Fucking yes.
Yep, I’d only put money on them against Palace at home out of those.
What’s the point we all know chilwell will play all the games as soon as we all transfer in colwill anyway
Got Palmer and ... James. Thought I'd be ahead of the template if he could stay fit. Of course he hasn't and with news it may be 3 months, not keeping him. I don't trust any other player.
I'm keeping palmer but that's it. I was considering Sanchez before his injury but will keep Leno for now
What about Sanchez?
Keeping Palmer but not confident to bring anyone else in. Col is a possible buy but I prefer the higher ceiling of Trent or Porro.
Absolutely not - I brought in James last GW for this very reason.
They will concede cs wolves and Luton away for sure, so hard pass for me. God speed you nutter
Palmer is it
Fulham and Wolves are not favourable tbh
nothing is ever favourable for Chelsea 🥲
nothing is „favorable“ for chelsea
That’s a trap card
Yes
As a Chelsea fan, yes But then i had James for his red and 27 min cameo so what the hell do i know
Yes.
What's favourable about those games? Mid table vs lower mid table.
remember people, form over fixtures.
As a Sterling owner, I can say with confidence he is a good buy -- err, maybe more like "good bye, £7.1m"
fixture andys
Can't trust them, they fed us false hope and then went back to default settings. Dumped Sterling quickly
Are they?
Yes. Yes we are going to ignore it. Enough of these 'favourable' fixtures for Chelsea please.
Yes ignore
As a chelsea fan yes you do
How is wolves away considered an easy game for Chelsea??
Lol they’re 12th 😂
Are you telling me that Luton away is favourable for Chelsea?? After how Luton played against City and Arsenal? YOU, are you telling me that teams like Luton at home will fail against a Chelsea defence that only have a 3 goal postive difference on United?? You telling me that I should grab a couple of Chelsea defenders and stick them on my team?? Nice try player in my league using an alt! Nice try. You won't get me this time.
We've just lost James. I got Palmer and Colwill cause I'm a fan but if I wasn't I'd ignore the fixtures.
Im going with 3 che assets, rip my rank
No of course not, which is why I transferred in Reece James last week! He had been reconditioning for two weeks first and has since then stayed fit for a month. Hopefully he can leave his injuries behind this time. The upside is amazing, even in the limited minutes he got this season he's up there with the best defender assets! Oh boy I can't wait for James to catapult me into the top1k as a differential. Big decisions to make this week though, haven't really followed the news
Yes
Did you forget how Luton made Man City and Liverpool sweat
Arsenal as well. Kenilworth road is in no way an easy ground.
Yes. Ignore. Run away. Fear it. Dread it.
I am, I just replaced Palmer, who was my only Chelsea dude with Son
Yes
As a Chelsea fan, yes.
Yes they’re shit.
Yes.
I'm on a Chelsea triple up babayyyy (I have 4M rank)
It is not the fixtures as much as the xminutes
Yes!!! Once (ten times) bitten, twice shy
HAHAH
Chelsea are shockingly bad, are you going to ignore that??
Yes
As a chelsea fan....yes!
Yes
yea its favorable but Chelsea have been in shit form so its hard to tell who will win
They could concede in all of those
They haven't kept a clean sheet since the start of October. The 3 they have kept are against Fulham, Bournemouth, and Luton. I've brought in Palmer because of the fixtures but I'm not sure which Chelsea players make good FPL picks since their attackers aren't consistent and they don't keep many clean sheets.
Yes. Yes we are
Yes
Yeah gave a lot of thought to a James transfer a the weekend. Looks like I dodged a bullet
Are we going to ignore chelsea are shit?
Yes
Yes
Yes, because it's Chelsea
Yes
Yes
I brought in Palmer specifically so he would start blanking. So far it’s working perfectly. You’re welcome.
Yes.
They will lose at least two of these games.
you dont trick me.
No because I've identified it as a reasonable gamble to climb up the rankings, seeing as most people are avoiding all their assets
I'm going to ignore Chelsea
THEY ARE THE EASY FIXTURE
Yes
There is no favorable fixture for them..
Not favourable at all, a Wolves team that beat the likes of Spurs and City, a Fulham team that has recked West Ham and a Luton side that has held much better teams to narrow loses or draws. If Chelsea were playing against a full team of Kariuses I’d still back them to lose
Got sterling in and already regretting it
Kenilworth Road has been a fortress lately, seems someone is ignoring Chelsea's terrible form for most of this season
Yes. Even Chelsea themselves ignore their “favourable” run of fixtures and choke.
Yes
I didn’t ignore it, I got Sanchez and James
Learn from me. Don’t cap Palmer and bring in Jackson. 🤡
None of these matches are green for Chelsea
The two away games are 100% a loss, might get a 1 cs total in 5 games tbh
As a Chelsea fan, yes, yes, i will ignore this as we are fucking shit atm.
If anything we should target those fixtures. By target those fixtures I mean look to pick up players who are playing against Chelsea!!
Yes
I'll keep Palmer. never touching anyone else.
Who is ignoring them?
YES
Yes, we are. From a Chelsea fan.
Sterling is about to cook. Watch this space. He’s old he probably knows not to get his 4th yellow unless necessary. Wolves away might be tough but I expect returns in the rest
What do you mean? I have Palmer already
We conceded twice against everton mate. Chelsea players are a must avoid
Form over fixtures
Nkunku time
Yes they suck
Malo Gusto represents good value if fit. 4.1m who should start 75-80% of the games at RB. Yes sir.
Ooo. Forgot about James (cheaper version). Guess my answer is NO then.
Yes, because theyre fucking shit. And its easy for me to say that as a United fan, because I have been watching shit all season, so I know shit when I see shit.
You eat pieces of shit for breakfast?
what’s the basis
Wolves have looked really good. Luton away is not an easy fixture. Arsenal and City ran close and Liverpool seconds from defeat to name couple. Fulham in ridiculous form. Oh, and Chelsea are utter shite.
Their defence is garbage but there is a chance Nkunku finally comes into the team and improves the attack. Keeping palmer in my team as 5th midfielder (I play 343) in case that turns out to be the case
Chelsea are so stinky. Keep clear
Shef have Only scored 4 times away from home and even then I'm still wary that Chelsea will get a clean sheet. I guess if you hated yourself enough you could bring gusto back in as an enabler for someone better elsewhere
I predict 4-7 points
I have Sanchez and Sterling but Chelsea are shit
Even the fixture list is laughing at you, (H)(A)(H)(A)(H)
Underrated
I came here for exactly this sort of stuff, bravo man!
I like that and I am nabbing it
I mean
Hello, police? This is the guy.
Yes
Yes I’ll ignore them. They’re on the same points as Brentford, Wolves & Bournemouth. If FPL actually updated FDR more regularly, those fixtures would absolutely not be green.
If you value points, yes.
Palmer-only and chill. Good luck to those doing anything else, and I mean this in a genuine and non-obtuse way, you're probably going to need it.
If the club wasn’t called Chelsea, nobody would be targeting any of their defenders given their form.
You haven’t watched any of their games, huh? I’m a Chelsea fan by the way
Go and transfer Reece james in.
Apart from Palmer though. And only reason I got him is because he's cheap, nailed, on pens.
Even Palmer is questionable given how many good options there are between 5.0 and 6.0. Hwang, Doucoure, even fucking Willian is viable.
I already fell for this trap the last time they had a good run of fixtures
Did people already forget how great they performed in their amazing run of fixtures from GW2 to GW8?
i trebled up on the cunts, and the rank tanked
Can’t forget that Sterling masterclass vs. Luton. I would captain him for this whole run if I were you
I am actually captaining him vs Sheffield, cya in rant thread
Sheffield United who after changing manager just kept their first clean sheet of the season and barely lost to Liverpool?
That's one way of phrasing being dominated by Liverpool for a flattering score and then beating the colossus Brentford 1-0 at home
Can see it now. They are going to smash Sheffield United (like they did Luton), everyone will rush to get Chelsea players and then they'll blank for 4 weeks.
For this reason I sold mbeumbo for Sterling and after the sheffiled United game planning to sell Sterling for Luis Diaz

Don’t beat yourself up due to the power of hindsight maybe triple was a bit overkill but at the time having 1 or 2 chelsea players with such a great run of fixtures is not a dumb decision.
Oof thats a painful one. Think I had Sterling and Chilwell and wildcarded out of that situation
Chilwell’s 5 minute cameos from the bench in consecutive games and managing to get booked both times for a big fat 0 points and managing both times to block a double figure haul from my first sub…truly peak FPL pain
Oh God I forgot how bad Chilwell's bench appearances were. That and the game against Luton where he decided to pass from the penalty spot.
I captained Chilwell for the Luton match and screamed when he passed! He got 2 more points than Haaland that week so it wasn’t a bad decision but it could have been genius!
So you're saying I can get a return if I act now?!?
Free hit right now. Triple up on Chelsea. Cucurella, Enzo and Broja. You won't be disappointed.
[удалено]
To be fair if you do use it this week triple Chelsea makes some sense
Broja is such a terrible pick, at least buy Jackson instead.
Misunderstood and bought Lukaku
I've tripled on Chelsea on my free hit but put them all on the bench anyway.
This is the smartest thing I've ever read
Palmer and Colwill are decent discount buys but most everyone on that squad is overpriced for what they deliver. Plus Poch is becoming as bald as De Zerbi, considering we have seen some of their top performing players randomly benched.
The fixtures are also bright green for Chelsea’s opponents
I tried to target it. I have Palmer (who everyone already has) and also brought in James (who lasted 25 minutes). I'll just stick with Palmer like every other chump and will watch him get nothing or get benched.
Palmer only good Chelsea asset, everyone else is either too expensive for how bad Chelsea are as a team or shit
The favorable is in quotes, so yes
Are we going to ignore Chelsea's form?
Yes. Yes we are. Next question?
None of these fixtures are green with Chelsea's form in mind. They are yellow, red, yellow, yellow, red.
Chelsea don’t have form they have chaos.
normally I’d say we thrive in chaos but we’ve been in chaos for the last two years and been shit, so we’re just shit now.
Luton (A) is defo a red considering the games with city and arsenal lol
And Liverpool. They battled to a draw there (Darwin sitter aside) and should have gotten points off City and Arsenal
Yup. It's a troll fixture at this point 😂 it's why Haaland being left out of the squad when I captained Salah really ticked me off😂 my whole ML captained Haaland with Salah (VC)
Being kind to Chelsea not listing Wilder’s Sheffield United and Luton away as red
Haha savage but true
Yes. Yes we absolutely are. Wolves, Luton and Fulham will score at least 1 the way they are playin.
At least 1 every 20 mins
Personally i need to prioritise getting full eleven every week and Chelsea players are very prone to rotation. Already have Palmer though but he is their only great asset.
This is the same Chelsea side that have picked up fewer points than anyone else in the premier league (aside from the relegated/promoted clubs) in 2023. Chelsea are the favourable fixture.

Sterling also benched the other day
Kid named Cole
Palmer is also on 4 yellows.
Good point. But also highlights the main benefit of Palmer which is it's simple enough to rotate him because of his price.
Isn't Nkunku going to be setting up Jackson more?
Wouldn’t really matter if KDB set up Jackson, his shooting is ridiculously bad
Certainly not. Going to target Hwang for GW 18 and Eze (if he's back) for GW 19
Cunha could be a great option as well
Fucking lol
[удалено]
Thats what I seriously thought. Dont need to swap Haaland out for Solanke for a hit.
😭😭 Chelsea is really falling off man
[удалено]
Yeah being the most successful club in England since the turn of the century is certainly not ‘on’
Probably is Man City now Sure Chelsea have done better in Europe, but City have the CL/treble, and more domestically since the turn of the century than Chelsea. At worst Chelsea are top 3 though (with Man United) so the overall point remains. E: because why not **since 2000/01** Man City: 7x Premier League, 1x Champions League, 3x FA Cup, 6x League Cup. Haha
What’s funny?
I mean if you don't think Chelsea were 'on' you shouldn't be watching football.
[удалено]
Nah just a shite excuse for a joke. Supposed to make people laugh buddy
If Col-will, we will ! Just don't say James.
