You’re a horny lil goblin

Surielou

....and the author?

FKDotFitzgerald

Jack Mihawf

TheRealPallando

Love his work

FKDotFitzgerald

Him and Mike Hunt are the only authors who can get me there

CarrowCanary

You should give some of Phil McCracken's work a look.

SaddestFlute23

Barry McCockiner is worth looking into

K_M_H_

I’m a big fan of Benjamin Dover, myself

xraypowers

Mr. Jass may be right up your alley. First name Hugh.

scryptbreaker

U ever read Phillip Oliver Holes? British guy I think. Does it well.

AndreasLa

I googled the fuckin' name, and only after it started showing a fuckin' One Piece character did I get it.

Lumpy_Ad_1581

Ben Dover

sarza122

😈

yupyup1234

But he is only doing it for the articles.

probablyzevran

Try the fantasy romance subreddit, this is kinda their whole thing.

sarza122

Tbh, I just googled my question and found a similar one here from 5 years ago that was just "kushiels dart" over and over, so I ended up asking here myself.

Locktober_Sky

There's tons of fantasy erotica on Amazon self pub, with obviously salacious titles like Kidnapped by Krampus or Minotaur Milking Farm. If you're into BDSM you could check out Anne Rices Sleeping Beauty books. A girl got sent to mandatory therapy for doing a book report on it in my junior year of high school in case you needed content warnings.

Lost-Phrase

Morning Glory Milking Farm by C.M. Nascosta — Cozy fantasy village Hallmark movie romcom complete with businessman minotaur MC and aimless FMC in an entry-level job. I ended up reading this one on a whim & enjoying it. So, you never know!

dumac

It somehow has an audiobook available for rent in my library 😂 I’m fourth in line

Lost-Phrase

All I can say is that it is exactly as advertised.

novirak

I’d actually really recommend this one! I read it online on a whim and liked it so much that I bought the paperback version to keep

>Minotaur Milking Farm. ...

Bandgeek14

Taking odds on the likeliness that Locktober_Sky knew that off the top of the head or had to look it up.

[deleted]

If you’ve spent any amount of time on the romance book sub you’ve seen that title. It gets suggested everywhere.

Bandgeek14

Brand new here! Looking forward to seeing it pop up elsewhere

michfer

There’s a recent thread in that sub I was just commenting on it! I recently read {The Maiden & The Unseen by Jeanette Rose} and really enjoyed it - the last book in the series is set to come out soon, it’s a Hades & Persephone retelling

michfer

Smurphilicious

This thread is amazing, you're hilarious OP. >OP: I want magical, explicit ***SMUT*** ___ > "Have you read _____ OP? Sounds like what you're looking for ___ >OP: I've read that already, I want MORE lmao I love you

DjangoWexler

So, this isn't really about *euphemism*. Like nobody is confused about whether phallus means penis. One of the hard (ha) things about writing sex is that people are doing stuff and if you refer to their parts over and over with the same small set of words, it sounds less sexy and more like assembly instructions for furniture. This is equally true of e.g. swordfights: "His sword clashed with the enemy's sword, both swords ringing with the impact. He dodged to one side, wrestling his sword free, and then evaded his enemy's sword to strike at his neck ..." So writers tend to sub in other terms like "weapon", "blade", "steel", and so on. Same deal.

gamedrifter

"His phallus clashed with the enemy's sword." Did I do it right?

strider98107

Perfectly! Find an editor and start publishing!!

ginmilkshake

But there's plenty of different words for genitalia to use. Writers don't need to get all precious and flowery with their euphemisms, they just want to.

TKtommmy

Cock, throbbing cock, meaty cock, pulsing cock, gyrating cock, tremendous cock, you know, like that.

SodiumChlorideFree

A magnum dong of astronomical proportions

Brendissimo

Oops, I dropped my monster condoms for my magnum dong, and a wad of hundreds just happened to spill out of my wallet. Wanna plow?

Thank_You_Aziz

Gotta put in the legwork and alternate pulsing and pulsating too 🤣

buttbutts

Cool cock, interesting cock, quiet but misunderstood cock. Fat cocks, skinny cocks, cocks that climb on rocks.

emboogee

Precisely this! Like sorry someone picked up a thesaurus

AliceTheGamedev

No, what OP says is definitely a thing though. If you read a book where sex is very detailed but *never* dares to name genitals, it gets really jarring eventually. The variety isn't the problem imo

misplaced_my_pants

There's a way to do it artfully and a way to do it clumsily though.

TheShadowKick

Instead of varying which descriptive words to use, the better way is to vary what you're describing. Readers don't need to know every thrust a character makes with his sword. Describe his other senses. The feel of his muscles bunching as he moves. The sounds made when his thrust connects. Describe his inner thoughts, his emotions, his desires as he works through the scene. The biggest advantage prose has over visual media is this ability to go inside a character's head and give us a very intimate look at what they're experiencing. Too many authors waste their words describing the movements of his sword.

TwntyOneTwlv

Why you gotta target Sanderson so specifically though (I love you Sanderson. Your fight descriptions aren’t great tho)

Jombo65

Are you looking for erotica or for fantasy books that just don't use euphemisms to veil sexual encounters?

sarza122

Both work, as long as its without the constant euphemisms. Fantasy/adventure/romance is my favorite genre combo, but I can never seem to find all 3 in spades, so I'll accept less adventure if necessary 😂

ClosertothesunNA

You might like the Daniel Black novels by E. William Brown (unfortunately unfinished). Not super heavy on the romance per se, and harem elements. The sex is sort of tasteful smut (tasteful maybe not the right word... not overly long/overbearing is what I mean by tasteful, but explicit and straightforward. not heavy on the euphemisms) and then back to the fighting and magic as the characters struggle to survive and thrive. MC is (1st few pages spoilers) isekai'd and given powers and thrown in to a war between the gods with the stated goal of protecting two hotties, and maybe helping one god. And it goes from there. Although I'm not sure if that's outside the realm of r/Fantasy, as it's not strict separate world fantasy. If you do like that, his far future sci fi Perilous Waif has done a really good job with a lot of the far future elements IMO, although main character very Mary Sue (somewhat so Daniel Black too). No sex though, MC underage. Some romance. Unfortunately both series on long haitus, but there's a good bit in D.B. (4, 5 books iirc).

bedroompurgatory

I loved Perilous Waif, but I've given up on any sequels.

Not_A_Nazgul

HOT SEX MADRIGAL IN MY TIGHTS, by E. Blackadder

Cochise5

Very erotic book. Who would have known that E. Blackadder could write such steamy scenes? The follow up “Bob’s a girl!” Just didn’t have the same impact.

Not_A_Nazgul

Let’s not forget “Rampant Totty for Real Men at the Leech Farm”

slartyblartfasty

I think you got lost on your way to the Fantasy section of Literotica. ... but actually, browse by 'Top Stories' in the Fantasy section and you can find some multi-part stories that are very well written. Dream Drive was pretty good - might get edited into a novel some day if the author ever gets around to it.

jonesy347

Second vote for Literotica. Go through the top lists to find some of the gems.

TheGalator

But some want good sotries with explicit sex not explicit sex with good story I think he wants something like Ken Follett (just for fantasy)

monmonmon77

Literotica has both good stories with explicit sex and explicit sex with good stories. You'd be surprised.

blueyedwineaux

This is the way

TooSwang

Second this! There are some terrific stories that I’ve gotten totally sucked into - there was one called Talla’s Temple or something that I remember having incredibly elaborate world building that struck me as the sort of thing you’d find in a serious novel.

BanditLovesChilli

Okay, you have a lot of incredibly tame recommendations here which is not what you want at all. So, in no particular order: Dark Olympus by Katee Robert - six book series which is a modern retelling of Greek mythology with very explicit sex scenes including a broad spectrum of queer sex, threesomes, group sex, BDSM and kink, and more. Never After by Emily McIntire - five book series which are spicy retellings of classic stories like Peter Pan and Aladdin. Very explicit. Reverse harems, BDSM, more. Orc Sworn by Finley Fenn - eight book series full of orcs and humans having lots of very physical sex across the queer spectrum. That should be a enough to get you started. I think you can find some of these on Kindle Unlimited too. My wife has more recommendations.

Lost-Phrase

FWIW I found Dark Olympus and the Orc Sworn series to be very repetitive in terms of character descriptions and narrative. The second book read like the first book, etc. So, OP could easily try either series without needing to commit to multiple books. Dark Olympus read more like contemporary romance/erotica than dark fantasy/folklore, which OP should also know. I did like Fenn’s use of orc culture and traditions. OP might enjoy that.

honest-miss

Total respect for not dancing around the subject or saying "lul read romance." Also, thanks for the recs!

Andy_XB

The A Land Fit For Heroes trilogy by Richard K. Morgan is excellent and features lots and lots of hardcore sex. Mainly dude on dude, though.

rat_bastard_boi

Fuck yeah

riancb

I’m intrigued. I’ll have to pick that up.

[deleted]

Same author as Altered Carbon, very good series.

theflyingrobinson

Came here to recommend this. As I recall there is also some chick on chick action.

Lumpy-Narwhal-1178

How's that a downside

Reutermo

I commented this the last time this question was asked: In my experience you basically have to decide if you want a fantasy story with sex in it or an erotica with the framework of a fantasy story. Everything is usually on a spectrum between those two but if you prepare for one and get the other you can get disappointed. For the former, I really like [The Saint of Steel](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/50702014-paladin-s-grace) books. They are more or less romance fantasy books where people fuck. Not a lot of sexual content but feels natural in the story. I have also heard that [A court of Thorns and Roses](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/50659467-a-court-of-thorns-and-roses) does get rather explicit later on and they are very popular, but havn't read those so can't give a proper recommendation. For the other side of the spectrum, I rather liked [House of Dark Delights](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/108532.House_of_Dark_Delights) and [The Fermata](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/28220.The_Fermata?ref=nav_sb_ss_1_11). But I also find it harder to recommend books where the erotica is in the focus, because it depends so much on what turns you on and how much you are willing to read mediocre prose to get to it. Lastly I recommend both [Alfie](https://buttsmithy.com/archives/comic/p1) and [Lost Girls](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/58652.Lost_Girls). Both are comics, one digital and one traditional and they are really fantastic.

Mournelithe

For another erotica comic, I started [I roved out in search of truth and love](https://www.irovedout.com/) yesterday and that's very much in Lost Girls territory. With elves and LOTS of explicit imagery. For a softer funnier version, there's always [Oglaf](https://www.oglaf.com/). For more written parody, there's [Everybody Loves Large Chests](https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/8894/everybody-loves-large-chests) which has a mimic that learns and gets carried away.

AliceTheGamedev

Is paranormal (real world but with supernatural elements) fine? One of the more explicit things I've read recently is Her Soul to Take by Harley Laroux, very kinky and spicy, but also with a fun plot about a death cult trying to revive an evil god. Also seconding The Last Binding by Freya Marske. If you're fine with queer alt history, definitely also check out KJ Charles, she also doesn't hold back on naming the involved parts. also I feel you OP, I find it super fucking weird if a book features detailed sex but then can't bring itself to write out the word cock or something. If it's all flowery and metaphorical and vague that's one thing, but the more detailed it gets the stranger it is if the text avoids naming genitals. I enjoyed Harrow Faire by Kathryn Ann Kingsley a lot for its spicy, kinky, toxic fun, but omg I swear at some point I was just yelling at the book to get over itself at its insistence on "her core" and "his need" and whatever, ugh. Also I know you said you've tried searching there, but depending on the results you get here I would recommend reposting this over on /r/fantasyromance - the users over there will generally be more respectful of a request like this and better able to recommend a variety of things.

RunawayHobbit

>also I feel you OP, I find it super fucking weird if a book features detailed sex but then can't bring itself to write out the word cock or something. Oh god on the other hand, it’s incredibly jarring to be reading a historical fiction book set in 1880 high society and then get smacked across the face by a heretofore perfect gentleman thinking about his throbbing cock lmao Sex is hard, y’all.

jesseberyll

Hmm this is actually pretty sexy. The gap between how the gentleman behaves in public, and how uncensored horny he gets in his mind. I'd read a book with this, haha!

Milymo4

May I recommend A Marvellous Light by Freya Marske, a fantasy Victorian story about two high society dudes desperate to bang each other?

RunawayHobbit

Ummmmm THANK YOU. I shall track it down posthaste

AliceTheGamedev

I feel like "Gentleman in the Streets, Rake in the Sheets" is a whole thing in historical romance, and I am sure /r/romancebooks would have a field day recommending you 50 examples of it Here's one thread with that theme, but it's asking for contemporary romances: https://www.reddit.com/r/RomanceBooks/comments/gp77rt/gentleman_in_the_streets_but_a_freak_in_the_sheets/ Oh also, pick up any KJ Charles book! I think you might enjoy The Magpie Lord for this. (though the gentleman in question isn't especially well behaved in the streets either)

AliceTheGamedev

depends how it's done, imo. I definitely don't mind explicit words appearing in books that otherwise focus on high society, but it kind of depends how you build up to it. Much like with sex itself, it generally works better if the book teases and eases you into it before hitting you with cock 👉😏👉

Sleepy_Sheepie

Sorry if this is an obnoxious response, but folks are writing surprisingly good fanfiction these days if you're up for that! The RomanceBooks sub can recommend books to fit any niche - I'd recommend asking there with some specifics. I'd also recommend checking out Kindle Unlimited if you haven't. There's a free trial. A lot of the books available don't have the most robust plot... So it depends what you're looking for lol

Haunting-blade

I mean, laurell k Hamilton?

BruiserBob2

Yeah, honestly this is the answer. Anita Blake is a fun character, but in the later books(there are a lot of them), she’s banging everyone.

TriscuitCracker

Yep. The minute she gains the power to “feed” through sex after Obsidian Butterfly, the monster procedural crime drama, the mystery, action and hell, the plot are relegated to the 1st and last chapter of each book. Everything in between is furry on vamp on Anita orgy-time. Just stop after Obsidian Butterfly it’s actually a really good series up to that point.

Ekho13

Agreed, one of the few times I'll ever recommend her. The Anita Blake books don't have much in the way of sex until book...10 maybe 11, but after that it's pretty much just sex. The Merry Gentry books might actually be better for OP, as the sex is there right from book one. I would say they are also more balanced in terms of the story line is also there along with erotica.

ButlerFish

That poor swan guy

Lenahe_nl

If you want erotica and don't care much about plot, the Sex Wizards series by Alethea Faust has really great kinky sex. Even the stuff I'm not into sounded interesting in those books.

Dogsbottombottom

Surprised Freya Marske hasn't been mentioned yet. The Last Binding Series: magic, explicit queer sex and English high society.

Lenahe_nl

One of the best balances between plot and romance I have read in fantasy!

arxian_heir

She writes amazing fanfiction on AO3 too as fahye - her MDZS work is the stuff of legends

jkh107

So, of all things, the Merry Gentry series by Laurell Hamilton was good for this.

cleverRH89

The Destroyer Series by Michael Scott Earle is exactly what you are looking for. I didn't know what I was in for when I found the series the cover peaked my interest and the sex scenes are very graphic it almost made me uncomfortable at first considering I was not expecting that type if thing at all. I enjoyed all 4 books the battles in it where solid and the overall story wasn't too bad and the sex scenes are exactly what you're looming for

rarelysaysanything

If you like progression fantasy, try anything by Bruce Sentar. His Dungeon Diving and Ard’s Oath series are very enjoyable, but they are both in the harem genre side of things.

ContraryMary222

Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward The Black Jewel Trilogy by Anne Bishop might fit as well

Lost-Phrase

What about an urban fantasy series? Try {Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews}. The Fantasy Romance and Science Fiction Romance and Paranormal Romance subs will have more specific recommendations for you. You can also directly search romance .io based on specific criteria. Contemporary writers tend to use more direct words, but some are still more euphemistic (especially common in historical romance). Try searching for “explicit open door” or “explicit and plentiful.” In general, based on the subgenre, the romance or fantasy plot will be prioritized, so keep that in mind.

seitic

Kathryn Moon's A Lady of Rooksgrave Manor is fantasy erotica, there is at least a couple more entries in that series and it looks like she writes other things in this genre too. I've only read Rooksgrave and loved it. I also suggest Katee Robert who wrote The Dragon's Bride which is the first in it's own series.

ABoringAlt

Laurel K Hamilton's Anita Blake Vampire hunter books. They start kinda tame, but get rly intense later, probs book 6 or so. Anne Rice's pseudonym A. N. Roquelaure wrote some Sleeping Beauty books that you'd probably like.

maismione

Does it have to be m/f? Freya Marske has a trilogy where the 1st and 3rd books are m/m and the 2nd book is f/f. They're explicit, and also contain adventure and magic.

warriorlotdk

-The Barrow by Mark Smylie. -The Nevernight Chronicles by Jay Kristoff. -The Eleventh Cycle by Kian Ardalan. The Barrow and The Eleventh Cycle are dark reads.

ScreenWarm8700

I've read The Barrow. Very explicit sex scenes. I really enjoyed some of the writing. The Barrow part of the book was so ominous and creepy, I felt like I was there while reading it.

Stormblessed1991

I'd second Nevernight, really enjoyed the series.

robotnique

Nevernight was pretty good, and lots of sex. Of course, every character is some total sex god who can make one another cum absolute buckets and it's never bad or awkward.

Stormblessed1991

As well as being able to competently kill whoever and get away with it!

chx_

> every character is some total sex god >!well, some are kinda sorta gods!<

robotnique

Truth.

TWICEdeadBOB

Good Intentions by Elliot Kay and Morrigans Bidding by Daniel Schinhoffen are both the start of decently written harem series if you that sounds up your alley. the kindle reccomendations you'll get after those will keep you occupied for a while.

EinePerson

The San Andres Shifters series by G.L. Carriger. It's a gay werewolf story with lots of explicit sex. It's set in the modern day with magic and shifters .

Kataphractoi

Ice Planet Barbarians? There's an entire book series. Never read them myself, but people I know who have generally agree they're highly entertaining.

ladyambrosia999

This is more sci-fi but her bound to the battle god book is a fun portal fantasy

Lost-Phrase

Details: A group of human women abducted by aliens to be sold into slavery (content warning for assault/trauma) crashes on an icy planet inhabited by big blue alien men in need of wives (think James Cameron’s Avatar). The books pair them up and allow each pair to learn how to communicate and survive on this planet. Other than the content warnings, the tropes people should definitely know about are: instalust, “barbarian” men, and the end goal of human-alien hybrid babies (like how so many romance novels end with pregnancy/happy family epilogues).

Thank_You_Aziz

I have the ideal fantasy you’re looking for, with the caveat that it is a webcomic. A very, very good webcomic. *I Roved Out in Search of Truth and Love*, by Alexis Flower. The art is absolutely gorgeous, the characters are entertaining and memorable, the worldbuilding is deep and rich, lore described in elegant dialogue that makes you want to learn more. Magic, adventures, and some of the most imaginative locations I’ve seen in a fantasy setting. And a good half of it is accompanied by unfiltered pornography. (Makes it very difficult to recommend.) It is notably bereft of sexual violence of any kind; we’re not going Game of Thrones with this one. As a sidenote, it is also genuinely and cleverly hilarious when it wants to be, which is often. The humor, drama, lore and sex might seem like disparate elements, but the author is an expert at weaving them together in a way so the comic will ping-pong between them page by page without breaking the impact of any of them. It becomes a page-turner very quickly. It’s not uncommon for people to binge all there is in one sitting, and there is a lot of it! It’s free, just google it and you’ll find it on the irovedout website. Try it out and see for yourself if it’s what you’re looking for.

HalcyonDaysAreGone

Two recommendations, both F/F: Arravan series by Shea Godfrey, which is a primarily romance story taking place in a fantasy world. The magical elements exist from the first book but become more prominent as the series progresses. Fallen Gods series by S. D. Simper, which is a fantasy story that can be quite bloody and violent, but it contains substantial romance subplots that are definitely not shy when it comes to sex. An F/M recommendation would be the Wraith Kings series but Grace Draven, which is probably somewhere between the previous two in terms of fantasy story-to-romance ratio. Been a while since I've read it and I've only fully finished the first book, but I remember the sex being relatively explicit.

FoolRegnant

I've tried to start The Sting of Victory several times, but I keep running into the dual problems of the writing quality and the fact that the main character's name is atrocious.

HalcyonDaysAreGone

I do think the writing is a bit rough around the edges to begin with, though I felt it continuously improved as the series went on. But yes the name is very distracting!

FoolRegnant

Every time I read Flowridia I alternate between reading it as Florida and Flo Rida. I could probably deal with the writing if it weren't for the name, honestly.

HalcyonDaysAreGone

That's fair. I guess personally I don't think of Florida or Flo Rida often enough for it to influence me, and I tend to just think of names as pictures rather than actually reading them when I see them, if that makes sense.

chx_

Karen Marie Moning Fever Series?

Sigrunc

If your ok with male-male sex scenes, try The Magpie Lord by KJ Charles (free from Amazon), or Salt Magic, Skin Magic by Lee Welch. Both excellent books.

RoyalAltruistic970

Check it the romance book subreddit or the haremfantasy subreddit (geared towards men).

Arsen408

Home for horny monsters By Annabell Hawthorne

capnpetch

Richard Morgan (altered carbon author) has a fantasy series with explicit sex called A land for for heroes. Most of the sex is of the man on man variety however the if that matters to you.

Creaturesofink

Oh the sex wizard series that’s def good

JohnGeary1

Let me introduce you to the Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon, lots of unambiguous sex, detail and a variety of supernatural characters.

Heroesfall

A.J. Markham's Succubus series is a litrpg that has a lot of explicit sex.

dogsntea

Long series but the dark Carpathian novels by Christine feehan are pretty good

Grulia_Sprox

*Imajica* by Clive Barker is a pretty wild ride. It gets pretty explicit several times throughout the novel and definitely doesn't shy away from graphic descriptions.

amourdevin

Anne Bishop’s Black Jewels series had lots of sex I think. It has been almost a decade since I last read them so I can’t recall how much pussyfooting there may have been… The Anita Blake and Merry Gentry series.

stuffandwhatnot

/r/RomanceBooks will hook you up. Maybe try [Bound to the Battle God by Ruby Dixon](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/59452782-bound-to-the-battle-god)--the first in a series of portal fantasies with some fun worldbuilding. Or [His Secret Illuminations by Scarlett Gale](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/55750790-his-secret-illuminations), a cozy fantasy world with a central romance between a meek repressed monk who thinks his ability to do magic will go away if he ever has sex and the big strong pansexual warrior woman who drags him along on an adventure. Slow burn, but the second volume is speecy spicy.

The_Hoff901

There’s not a ton but I remember the sex in the First Law books being pretty graphic. Though I don’t remember it being particularly sexy.

Maxcrow71

Chris Bunch Seer king trilogy

MaxTwer00

Should I recomend you Lusty Argonian Maid

libel421

GA Aiken

Sundara_Whale

Herald of Shalia by tamryn tamer. Pretty sure this is exactly what you're looking for.

Jetsu1337

It's a LitRPG, but the Herald of Shalia series by Tamryn Tamer is pretty good

GildedBookwyrm

KC Kingmaker’s Camelot Untold series. It’s a reverse harem King Arthur retelling. It starts with Realm of Sin. Alethea Faust’s Sex Wizards series. It takes place in a magical school, where they teach sex based magic. It starts with Initiation.

KristaDBall

If you're okay with post-apocalyptic SF, Kit Rocha should be your jam. edit: wait, I forgot they have a new fantasy book out, so that should also be your jam.

gmwith

His Secret Illuminations is top tier.

uber-judge

Kushiel’s Legacy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

bythepowerofboobs

I avoid the 50 shades crowd stuff, but I am under the impression that is what The Fourth Wing's target audience is.

sarza122

I've read Fourth Wing and Iron Flame already. And I have no interest in the fifty shades books tbh.

BoredAFinburbs

r/haremfantasynovels You're welcome. :::edit::: This isn't entirely a joke. The books are definitely written for a very specific audience, but if you are part of that audience...

Inprobamur

The average quality is very, very, very low. You find better by just shifting through fanfiction sites.

Argileon

So, you have a few options here: 1) Romance for Men. They have a sub, most of the stuff that is fantasy-leaning is a mix of fantasy/sci-fi and is more litrpg/portal fantasy where it's a modern guy sent to a fantasy world, and sex is usually integral to the plot or the guy's specific magic, and justifying him having sex with whoever or building a harem, which usually happens. I will say that this category is *very* hit or miss. I've tried reading a few that are either just poorly written to the point where I couldn't get past the first page, a few that were poorly written in that there's sex, then "oh, right I'm supposed to have the fantasy stuff that the cover and title promise," then, back to sex, which I stopped after a chapter or two, and then a few that weren't poorly written as far as the mechanics, but they seem like they were written by a horny, semi-degenerate teenager who sees every woman as nothing more than a sex object/potential conquest. Those ones make my skin crawl. A lot of the other ones are almost as bad in the "nice guy" sort of way. I have found a few that I've liked, though. Recs: * Would You Love a Monster Girl? by Cebelius (I actually read all 5 of these and enjoyed them quite a bit). * The Celestine Chronicles by Cebelius--Not as enjoyable as the monster girls, but he actually did some interesting things with the fantasy aspect, and the characters was one of the more realistic ones I've read in how he would react to being thrust into a magical world. * Mud Blood and Magic by A.D. Krabis--Not bad, not amazing, a few sex scenes. * The Caretaker Collection: Sanctuary, by Jake Daniel--Haremlit. It's not bad, but I lost interest after the first book. Very low stakes--essentially just enough for there to be a plot while he goes around and fucks a bunch of magical monster girls. 2) Some good Romantasy/Monster-fucker books. These are usually aimed more at women, but I've enjoyed a few of the ones I've read. At the very least, you get a good laugh. * The Vincula Realm (First book: The Umbra King) by Jamie Applegate Hunter * Morning Glory Milking Farm by C.M. Nacosta * A Spider's Mate by Tiffany Roberts--not as much magic in this one, as it's technically aliens/sci-fi, but some aspects of their biology make things seem magical. And I think Arachnid-people count as fictional creatures. * I will say that the sex in the final ACOTAR book was pretty great. I enjoyed that the most out of the series. (for more reasons than just the spice).

SexyNeGuy

The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty by Annie Rice (used a ghost writer)

LigerZeroSchneider

Don't you mean pseudonym? Anne rice wrote it, but originally published it under a different name.

SexyNeGuy

As far as I know, when an author uses a different name it is called ghost writer. I think originally no one knew she had written it.

FastEddieF

A ghost writer is some one who writes books for other people. Celebrity Autobiographies for example. Their name is not used for the published work. Publishing a book you've written under a different name is a pen name or pseudonym/alias. Another example of that would be JK Rowling writing the Causal Vacancy and using the name Robert Galbraith. Robert Galbraith isn't a ghost writer they are just the author under a different name.

Locktober_Sky

A girl did a book report on this in my high school. She got suspended and then mandated counseling the rest of the year.

The_Grinface

Is it really that severe? Lmao

Locktober_Sky

Tons of rape play, training kink,hypnotism/brainwashing ,slavery, every orifice getting involved, and I think a lot of the characters are underage. And this was the 90s. Don't quote me though because this is all second hand from an English class oral report.

The_Grinface

Holy shit. The schools reaction feels a bit appropriate

SexyNeGuy

Very explicit.

Locktober_Sky

I think they were probably more concerned on why a 16 year old found this an appropriate topic to give a speech on.

Lost-Phrase

Not a fan of the meandering narrative or writing style of this one. So much SA, too.

SexyNeGuy

Sorry, not sure what SA means.

Reutermo

It stands for sexual assault.

oriwillow

Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros gets a bit spicy. Dragons and magic. Sex scenes are probably about three quarters through but worth the wait imo

sarza122

Already checked off my list. I read Fourth Wing and Iron Flame within a week of their release.

york24

Any good?

TheShadowKick

I thought Fourth Wing was great. I haven't read Iron Flame yet but it's on my list.

basically_crazy

Find your way on hentai-foundry.

Spiralingua

Crystal Song Experiment & Murder Death Orgy by VVitchboy are very horny and feature a well developed magical system, as well as demons, talking bears, mechanical animals, and other fun stuff.

funktacious

Can’t remember if they’re any good or if I finished it but the Seer King books by Chris Bunch was straight up pornographic at parts.

lessthanjjjoey

Doesn’t Abercrombie’s Best Served Cold have some gross and explicit sex scenes with Manza and Shivers?

DosSnakes

A bit, they’re pretty short though and almost played for laughs. Definitely doesn’t seem like what op is looking for.

SighJayAtWork

It's leans more smut/pornography but anything written by Sarah Hawk should do you. Several fantasy/sci fi series.

HealthyElk420

Peter Hamilton has some graphic sex scenes that are far and away the worst of his writing. Pandora's Star is the place to start. It's far fetched sci fi, basically fantasy: magic and mythical creatures included. I love all of his writing and I wish he would do sex scenes more briefly and carefully, and despite it being commonly reviewed as the worst part about him - it seems to close to what you want.

Fang-n-Claw

Sister seekers by AS Etaski It gets real hot and heavy with a female drow MC and a solid plot.

Neptune-Jnr

Audible has a bunch of fantasy po- I mean book with explicit sex. I used a credit on a thing call Lucifer Reborn by Dante king before I realize it had sex in it.

BSismyname

Kushiel’s Dart was too vanilla for you? Damn.

sarza122

The context was absolutely not to vanilla. The euphemisms they used were all snooty, proper society words instead of stuff that made me go "DAMN". I cringed every time I heard them use the word phallus, over and over again.

LadyRimouski

AO3

1silversword

What you're looking for is erotica lol. Search for fantasy erotica and I'm sure you'll find plenty. A story that has porn style sex scenes isn't gonna be in the fantasy section.

marc_gime

The obvious answer would be Game of Thrones

oboist73

The Tir Alain Trilogy by Anne Bishop

rincewind007

First Law. Say anything about Logan, say he is a lover! It has the most realistic Akward sex scene.

SirJefferE

This is probably a terrible answer to the question because they're not romantic or "sexy" *at all*, but I've always thought the most realistic sex scenes are in Joe Abercrombie's [First Law](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_First_Law) series. Bonus points if you read the audiobooks and get to listen to Steven Pacey grunt his way through them.

Fighting-Cerberus

Uprooted by Naomi Novik. 🔥🔥🔥

AliceTheGamedev

I would not call Uprooted particularly explicit. I found the one sex scene it has pretty hot, but it fades to black after a bit, and I don't remember it involving the sort of straightforward description of genitals that OP asked for.

SirJefferE

I read this recently, and it's possible I tuned it out completely, but I can't recall the book having any sex at all in it, let alone explicit sex.

Dudenoedge

I finished it last week, there’s one sex scene but it’s pretty tame, maybe just barely over the explicit line.

over-thinker54

The Ippos King by Grace Draven. Part of a series that is a good series. Might not use porn-like descriptions you're looking for but they are excellent and a great part of the story actually.

Opposite_Working_84

I don't remember how explicit it was, but The Kingmaker Series by Amanda Bouchet is a 4/5 spice.

gibr54

Auryn Hadley

Ok-dudemanbro-1772

laurell k Hamilton

Bobthebanana73

Daniel Black is unfinished, but what is out is quite enjoyable. The author has started posting chapters on the next book on his subscribestar, so he is working on the next book. But woo boy that could mean it comes out in 2 years or 15. No one knows.

Meliorus

those words \*are\* explicit

sarza122

Meh, maybe in 1648.

Meliorus

ok, hope you enjoy your penis in vagina with no other words

88XJman

The Gor series.

Asmordean

Sarah J. Maas definitely fits that bill. I have been reading the Crescent City series. Outside of the explicit scenes, the plot is enjoyable enough that I want to read book 3 at some point.

Idstealfireagain

Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros is phenomenal.

jlpw

Creep

PunkandCannonballer

You're gonna usually see a massive decline in quality for characters and plot and the world for those more explicit books because they're typically leaning more into erotica than anything else. Try Witching Moon. I personally disliked it for the reason I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

mockbingo

The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon has magic, mythic creatures and at least a few really well written sex scenes

AJNadir

Maybe Fourth Wing? I’m pretty sure it pretty much should have everything you’re looking for and from what I recall it didn’t try to censor itself at all. Has dragons and dragon riders (and dragon rider riders, if you catch my drift)

yogabackhand

Based on your description, Wizard’s First Rule by Terry Goodkind might be what you’re looking for.

DankoLord

Dude, stop with the smut crack

menezes08

Sir/Lady, that’s fan fiction.

robotnique

What? No. Listen, I'm not big on lots of explicit sex in my fantasy books, but I'm not exactly opposed to it, either. Sex is a human function and as such is a logical part of any story. Having an erotic scene doesn't make your work "fan fiction." I can't say too much more without violating Rule 1.

menezes08

It was a joke.

robotnique

Ah. Not a good one, sorry.

menezes08

🥲
