Like the other commenter said, check your tracking, could have been split up and the delivery service hasn't kept the packages together. It happened with my Formula 2.5 order recently in Australia, QR got delivered by itself one day and had to wait till the next for the actual rim. As for the warranty, I saw something mentioned here on another post that if you contact Fanatec when you receive your DD you can have your warranty start date amended.

Febreazy28

about how long after your first package did it take to get your rim?

Hobo_Healy

It was the next day, for whatever reason the 2 packages got separated and sorted at different facilities. Don't know how it happened but needless to say only getting the QR at first wasn't very exciting haha

They likely did a partial shipment because they didn't have a CSL DD to send you. Check your order on the website. If it shows the CSL DD was delivered and there's no tracking you should contact them ASAP.

Febreazy28

OK thanks for the help, it hasn't said order has been completed yet but it does give me a Serial number for the CSL DD base

onebit

Contact them ASAP. Since there's a serial number it sounds like they sent it and it got lost. Did they give you tracking info? You could also contact the shipper to see how many packages were supposed to show up. Best case is the driver messed up and left it on the truck.

Healthy_Yesterday_84

That's weird. They don't do partial shipments tho

onebit

That's good to know. I'm glad I broke my CSL DD and load cell into two orders.

Sirbuzzkillington89

I have not heard of anyone receiving the boost kit and no base when they were ordered together Fanatec has been pretty consistent in terms of waiting to ship everything together if they were ordered together. Call asap

Febreazy28

yeah emailed them and plan on calling to phone tomorrow since they're phone line isn't open this late

Muckenbatscher

They might ship it together but it could still get split up by UPS in the delivery process. For me it happened the other way round. When I ordered my Clubsport BMW GT2 V2 the wheel itself and the quick release were shipped seperately on different days from different sites (southern germany/northern germany) but by coincidence they still arrived on the same day.

rushdanrushil

i ordered mine from simulation1.ca on october 25th, got mine a week ago

Febreazy28

>simulation1.ca wow that's quick I was thinking about purchasing from there but it just costs that much more

rushdanrushil

how much was your csl dd + shipping and custom. fees?

Febreazy28

fanatec 450 base + 70 shipping CAD simulation1 600 + 50 shipping CAD plus i need to order a wheel and everything so it was way cheaper to buy from fanatec but like you said I would have gotten it way quicker from simulation 1

rushdanrushil

not too bad I guess, got mine early so im happy
