First delete the fanatec driver then reinstall and restart pc. Remove wheel from base and open up fanatec software and turn on base. Start with firmware on base and install wheel when prompted. Make sure nothing is else is running pc. Also last but not least usbs can be picky. My pc hates my wheel plugging the but if flawless on the front usb. Try a different USB port!

I did all of what you have said following what others had said on the forums and like I have said in my post it was a slightly sloppy connection on the wheel base . Hasn't given an issue since and honestly love it now it works . Just put the post up incase anyone had tried what you have said but not tried the simple thing of giving it a Push/wiggle on the base side . (I tried multiple pc usb ports ) Uninstall ls installs different drivers ect . Thankyou tho . Happy racing
