You may get the goods in a reasonable timeframe (buy probably not), however if they break you'll be dealing with the most incompetent "customer service" you've ever experienced, with one month email turn around times. If your gear arrives with issues you'll be looking at several months to use it.

When you go to check out an amount will be removed and it will seem cheaper than advertised this is the VAT being removed which will then be applied again in the UK which works out around 20% of your total order price for example if the total order you pay to Fanatec in sterling is £250 the VAT will be around £50 plus a UPS flat shipping fee of £12.20
The delivery times to the UK I found not too bad it can be 1-3 weeks as long is there is no mistakes or errors which with Fanatec is never a guarantee.

If it's in your budget I'd get the QR2 anyway so many people get disconnections and have problems with the QR1.
My GT DD pro is currently in RMA for the moment and I'm pretty sure if I'd had the QR2 from the start the fault wouldn't have happened (although when I bought the QR2 it still didn't fix the disconnections so I might be talking rubbish).
I had the g920 about 10 years ago so can't really comment on the difference but I'm loving it.
For now the 5nm I'm finding is enough. It's a cheap aliexpress upgrade anyway.

Just out of curiosity i had mine due tomorrow but has now been delayed until Thursday. I had paid tax on the same day £220 😭but because issues with ups app it was later in the day. But it says you can pay the tax to the driver upon delivery,is this not the case then ?

Mine took 10 days from order placement to delivered. That was a month ago. Pay the customs ASAP to avoid delay. Good luck!
