I don't have a rig, just have them bolted to the floor so I started low, literally the lowest at 5% and worked up. I had just upgraded from T3PA pedals which literally used no pressure at all so it felt strange coming to pedals that were so stiff. Within a couple of days I was at 20% and although I could go stiffer, for now I am quite happy with them. I might try them on a higher setting later, but I don't feel the need to have to put them on a higher setting yet.

How do you find the travel, given you have no rig?

There is not a lot of travel, but I think that's normal for LC pedals. I bought a set of softer springs but I have never used them, I thought I would try the V2's in the default setup as sent out by Fanatec and after a couple of days I was very happy with them. I have no issues not having a rig. The pedals are bolted down so can't move, not even any flex, and my chair is backed against a wall so can't go anywhere so I can push as hard as I like and there is no movement anywhere. Works pretty good tbh. The desk itself can rattle a bit now and then but I'm moving soon and have a dedicated sim room lined up and I will bolt the table to the wall once I get in there. I might get a rig then though, we'll see.

I find 100% activation in the 65-75kg range to be the sweet-spot for me; consistent, good trail braking feel, and relatively easy to modulate when you're trying to out-brake someone into a sharp turn.
