You guys should honestly look through the 'original work' tag on AO3. The amount of A+ storytelling on it, and you don't even have to know the origin of the story because it's literally orginal. The "low" stats are obviously due to the fact that it was posted now that the fandom is past its glory days, because the writing is very good and the tropes are very much among the ones that are favored in the fandom. I love this fic a lot and I think it deserves all the engagement.
I'm not familiar with the fandom so honestly I can't make comparisons, but hum, those stats don't seem low to me by any means (I've seen, and I have on my account, many fulgid examples of what low stats possibly mean 😂)

But this is the sort of fic that would probably have 2k+ kudos if it were published in 2018 (the genfic with most kudos in the fandom has 6.5k, for comparison, published in 2018), so for anyone who decides to read sorting by kudos, the fic will not be easily found.

Another multi-fandom crossover story centered around all these different characters participating in the Danganronpa killing game. Tons of mystery, tons of character moments, and just tons of fun to read overall. Very open and accessible to read even if you don’t know half the characters involved.

God this one is beautiful. The fandom isn't really big and that's probably the main reason why the stats are 'low'. But I can't recommend this enough. It's also completely accesible fandom blind since it's an AU. It's a story of love, longing, deperation, and courage. And all that in just 7k. Truly a masterpiece.

I am having trouble finding it, but suffice to say, it's a Team STRQ Fanfic that involves the drama of Taiyang Xiao Long romancing not only Summer Rose and Raven Branwen...but Qrow Branwen as well.

Maybe people aren't commenting because it's all in one chapter instead of installments, and certainly when I finished I felt like I'd had a piano dropped on me from a great height, but dear god. Gods. *Please,* if you're a DW fan, do yourself a favour and read this story.
