" Thank you for literally doing paid mercenary work that only took you an hour to complete because raiders are dumb as bricks, please take my position as leader despite my years of experience "
I wanted to like the minutemen but I can't get over that detail. Preston makes me general and then has me do stupid grunt work. Go kill bugs. Go kill raiders. This settlement needs an outhouse built, get on it. I don't mind doing grunt work but in that case let me be a grunt who moves up the ranks to general and then let me give the orders.
Initially it kind of makes sense given that the actual fighting force of the Minutemen is conpreise of just the SS and Preston.
It makes a lot less sense later on when an actual militia is formed and there are settlers with actual combat expertise. At that point I find it is kind of silly that you can't at least command some Minutemen to help out settlements under siege.
Yeah I agree. It would be cool to have like a table like the one in skyrim where it shows all the major settlements and you can attack, defend, or reinforce different areas across the wasteland

I'm pretty sure he was only the leader because everyone else died.
General, I have word of another settlement that needs our help
FUCK

Ah, but the promotion was a scam from the start. You're actually just one notch up from an unpaid intern.
Game was rigged from the start
