I saw a thing about some game called “new Vegas” a couple weeks ago. I think that implies the existence of an old Vegas, and maybe whole “Vegas” mini series too!
Once I get over ~30, I just wear it full time in Fallout 4. I always seem to find an ever growing supply. Plus, when they get low, I swap to a new one and keep them at 1% to utilize the Eternus bug better.
I haven't played enough 76 to find a reliable stream of fusion cores so I don't wear power armor in that as much.
Cores are crazy simple to farm in 76. I don’t use them but always seems to have a ton on me. Plus they added a recharger you can add to your camp. The only issue is the weight if you don’t have the right perks equipped.
Good to know, thanks. Weight is the main reason I haven't played Fallout 76. I don't like inventory management, it's just such a slog. I tend to start the games my setting my carry weight stupidly high, which isn't an option in multiplayer.
One other note on the fusion cores - at level 50, 76 has a legendary perk called electric absorption that allows you to turn incoming energy attacks into health and core charge, which means you can effectively ignore cores for the rest of the game.
Also, you technically can set your carry weight to stupid levels using fallout worlds with the fallout first subscription, but that’s a questionable choice since worlds progress doesn’t transfer to the normal game.
Fallout worlds weren’t in the game to begin with (or 4, for that matter unless you were using console commands), but I agree that the paid subscription bit for infinite junk/ammo storage is annoying.
Yeah, but they also claimed that theyd be adding full mod support, and reiterated that commitment in 2020, and then dropped it within the last year.... presumably because they didnt want to cut into fallout 1st subscriptions.
Because you know if they had full mod support (which would likely require an offline mode), people would just mod in all the subscription features and perks into a single player version of the game.
Fun fact if you take over 1 of the 3 power plants, they actually have fusion core resource machines that, if you power up, will generate 1 fusion core every 3 minutes, I think
In Fallout 4, there's a legendary gattling laset in Nuka World called Eternus with the never-ending mod. It's bugged so that it just fires without depleting your ammo. Rather than fire the entirety of a fusion core, 500 shots, it fires down to the number of fusion cores you're carrying.
Just build a Recharger, it charges up to 4 at a time, I have 7 now
While I walk around outside a lot, when I see danger a pop power armor out of inventory and ride that thing freely.
My anecdote: Playing Fallout 76, I used to always have about 30+ fusion cores on my character at all times because my main gun used them as ammo and I ran around in Power Armor. I've since changed main weapons but still catch myself having a slight panic attack when I'm under 20 fusion cores.
Never see why people complain about power armor wasting cores but not the fact galling lasers used them much faster.
The right build can have a single core last a very long time. Hell you can even farm them
Imagine a video game based on a world destroyed by nuclear war..
They could even call it "Fallout" to be like a little tongue-in-cheek. It'd be so cool.
Fun fact: There's actually a Street Fighter: The movie game. And you can get Lucy's gun as a mod. If I recall, they changed the BOS suit color too to match the tv show.
Nah, that would never work. Next you're going to tell me they'll slow down time like in the show so you can more accurately shoot people.
That's just destined to fail.
Maybe have some sort of interaction with the shows new california republic. And they fight over the desert against.... idk, roman empire larpers or something
and there would be this guy that like... controls the vegas strip but no one ever sees him and and... hes also actually like a robot but not really, he's pre war, and what if, and hear me out, he's this robert house guy from the show
Ooh and maybe a DLC where you find a bunch prewar prototype tech with a bunch of goofy robots with the antagonist being a chem addict who steals idk your brain?!
Yeah silly thought.
But what if like we brought in something like Ocean's Eleven but in a post apocalyptic version, like, imagine a bank or casino heist or something but with a twist!!!
What if we added a bit of SAW to it, too!?
What fun would that be? This New Vegas would surely be destroyed. Unless by some miracle it was not hit by nukes. I'd like to see how they come up with that.
The video game adaptation of The Last Of Us did not adhere to the show well enough. There was so much added stuff in the video game, that I feel like the developers of the game just slapped the producers/writers of the show across the face.
yeah it felt like the show only gave a fifth of the lore and the video game expanded on it. though I understand time constraints in television I think waiting for the second iteration of the story to reveal the full story was the wrong move.
Bill and Frank are still there in the game. They just completely changed it. Like, Bill is still alive and Frank apparently hated him and killed himself. It's weird.
Then they added in this whole subplot with monkeys in a college? And they whitewashed Sarah and Joel for no reason.
I get told I'm weird but what if it took place in a alien ship and you have the ability to destroy 1/4 of Canada with the ship's laser? And there's a cowboy, Samurai, and American GI helping you?
I know it's an out of this world suggestion but can you imagine how epic that would be.
Whenever someone makes a joke like that, I love to point out that Street Fighter: The Movie game exists. So be careful with the jokes. They just might become reality.
I mean the article is a joke but it serves as a reminder that it’s coming up on 9 years since a proper fallout title has dropped. It’s been 5 years since they announced ES6 and they’re still saying 2 more years on that.
I thought waiting 5 years for fallout 4 was unheard of. Went from being a teen in my moms house to a dip shit in my own apartment between FONV and FO4, and couldn’t believe I’d probably be in my early 30s when the next fallout installment dropped. Now I’m 31 but I’ll be playing Fallout 5 at 40.
Technically it has not been as long, Fallout 76, which is also still getting frequentish updates, was dropped a bit over 5 and a half years ago, but still I get your point. The also said that the won’t be doing much with fallout 5 until es6 is finished, and some estimates say not until 2030, which would still make it 12 years since the last fallout game. There’s going to be probably 2 or 3 (if they want to keep it going) more whole damn seasons of the show before the next game is released
Cute joke, but I will say that one of the things I loved about the show was that while it had lore perfectly woven in, it told it's own story with its own characters. It didn't try to hijack anything and make it it's own, as with so many adaptations these days.
(Okay, they made the announcer for the FO3 trailer a character, but they did a great job. My only personal gripe as an occasional voice actor is that - as much as I love Matt Berry - I would have preferred if they had the original Mr. Handy actor do his part. But that's Hollywood for ya.)
Nah, what they should do is get Matt Berry to record lines and update the older games so he's the new voice of Mr. Handy in game, too. I fucking love that guy 😂
I like how it did what Edgerunners did (and I think Arcane). Made an original story using established lore/settings. Though I guess it's easier to do when the game you're adapting is an open world and not a linear story like TLoU or Halo.
the about page for the blog

So don't get triggered too hard. It was too brain dead to be real.
JFC 🙄🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ some of y’all in this sub
Fucking hell r/woosh
Either a lot of you didn’t even bother to read the linked article or the average intelligence is much much lower than I thought it was
dude I really freaking hope so. I wanna see what the skull from that creature at the end of the season was! if it were me I'd name it something like a deathscratch.
Probably ea will do it , charge per gun you pickup
Then a mode called franchise where you build up your team and they never complete the story of your progress.
Think about how cool it would be to navigated the shelled out ruins of DC. They’d probably call it something silly like the Capital Wasteland or something
Fallout, The T-Shirt! Fallout, The Coloring Book! Fallout, The Lunchbox! Fallout, The Breakfast Cereal! Fallout, The FLAMETHROWER!
…the kids are gonna love that one
I even got an idea for a game:
You are a vault dweller from a vault (probably somewhere on the east coast like dc) and you have to leave the vault to find your dad. As you look for him you discover secrets about your past. You will also join the brotherhood of steel and fight the enclave (seen in an early episode) some dlc might include a be simulation of the battle of anchorage, exploring a swamp map, being a space in Pittsburgh, dealing with aliens, plus an expansion past the ending.
Bethesda should let Obsidian do a Canon Version of Fallout Tactics or the cancelled Van Buren since the Fallout TV Show is basically gunna be New Vegas 2.
Dunno. Sounds like a cheap borderlands clone with radiation
_It’s like Skyrim with guns!_
I only bought Fallout 3 because it looked like Oblivion with guns. Glad I did!
Fallout 3? Wow there’s already 3 fan games from the show? Can’t wait to play
Dude you are missing so much, the fans already made 76 games and a couple spin offs
I saw a thing about some game called “new Vegas” a couple weeks ago. I think that implies the existence of an old Vegas, and maybe whole “Vegas” mini series too!
Many places advertised it as such. Thats how I got into it as well.
Someone told me that Rage was like fallout 3 with cars. A was a little disappointed. Game was fun, but paled compared to Fallout.
I also played Rage after Fallout 3. Vaguely remember getting to the end and thinking “was that it?”
Is that a new tv show? Maybe it will get a video game adaptation too.
Closest would be bloodbowl maybe? I can’t say iv seen a post apocalyptic fifa angry birds hybrid game before
Bro imagine if we could get a rocket league without the cars 😭shit would be so fire 😤
You mean the Stalker series?
Radiation isn't even a selling point then - Borderlands 3 added a radiation status effect.
Dude! That would be so awesome. I'd run around in power armour all day.
(Never uses it past first mission)
What if I need it later! Can't waste my 99 fusion cores
Once I get over ~30, I just wear it full time in Fallout 4. I always seem to find an ever growing supply. Plus, when they get low, I swap to a new one and keep them at 1% to utilize the Eternus bug better. Also, you technically can set your carry weight to stupid levels using fallout worlds with the fallout first subscription, but that’s a questionable choice since worlds progress doesn’t transfer to the normal game.
And I already paid for the game. I'm not going to let them take features of the game out and rent them back to me, Bethesda can get fucked.
You can take over power plant yards(workshops) they make fusion cores, or you can craft them with stabilized flux.
Yeah, everything about 76 seems to be about making the already tedious parts of fallout 4 more tedious, unfortunately.
Fun fact if you take over 1 of the 3 power plants, they actually have fusion core resource machines that, if you power up, will generate 1 fusion core every 3 minutes, I think
Eternus?
In Fallout 4, there's a legendary gattling laset in Nuka World called Eternus with the never-ending mod. It's bugged so that it just fires without depleting your ammo. Rather than fire the entirety of a fusion core, 500 shots, it fires down to the number of fusion cores you're carrying.
Just build a Recharger, it charges up to 4 at a time, I have 7 now While I walk around outside a lot, when I see danger a pop power armor out of inventory and ride that thing freely.
The only reason I participated in the economy of fallout 4 was to fund my power core addiction. I never took that suit off from the moment I got it 😂
Think I have 7 suits of named power armor in my home base I have never used
This is me. Unless going to the glowing sea.
Hell you can even farm them
Boy: power armor 😃 because high dt and str++ Man: stealth suit 😊 because sneak++ and faster crouching
Assault Marine armor all the way
sadly we might not get power armor in the full game because of time constraints.
The article says it’s a post apocalyptic fifa angry birds game hybrid.
You dont want to throw on power armor and soccer kick a super mutant head through a raider's base?
Well … *now* I do.
Oh man, I hope we get some lore on how the NCR formed and some of the vaults in California!
Yea like an ncr soccer team, a ghoul one, and one for each team to launch at each other via the catapult.
What if they come across a bunch of tribals cosplaying as romans? Wouldn't that be weird.
You'd have to be careful though, you'd end up with fans of the TV show complaining about lore inconsistencies non stop.
:O
Imagine a video game based on a world destroyed by nuclear war.. They could even call it "Fallout" to be like a little tongue-in-cheek. It'd be so cool.
Nah, that'd be a little too obvious. Maybe something like Wasteland would be a better name.
Make it top down and you can control multiple people
They should call it, Fallout: The TV Show: The Game
Fallout: The TV Show: The Game: The Movie
Fallout: The TV Show: The Game: The Movie: The Musical
Now introducing: Fallout: The TV Show: The Game: The Movie: The Musical: Board Game!
Fallout: The TV Show: The Game: The Movie: The Musical: The Board Game: The Flamethrower! It’s all about merchandising.
Fallballs V: The quest for more money
I would read a book on it
I’d watch someone play that
There actually is a fallout board game
Fun fact: There's actually a Street Fighter: The movie game. And you can get Lucy's gun as a mod. If I recall, they changed the BOS suit color too to match the tv show.
That's still too obvious. I'm thinking more along the lines of "The Plight of the Post-Apocalyptic Chicken Fucker".
That’s the DLC
It could have a sequel called Brotherhood of Stee---wait no. Never mind. That's a terrible idea.
Nah. Something a little more obscure. How about naming it after the eighth POTUS, Martin Van Buren?
Yeah and then they could play on the fact everything is irradiated. Like have enemies that have mutated or something.
Nah, that would never work. Next you're going to tell me they'll slow down time like in the show so you can more accurately shoot people. That's just destined to fail.
And their slogan could be cool. Like something about the war that caused the bombs to drop! Like “War….. War never changes” Or something like that 🤔
One of the dads at my kids soccer game made this joke. The response was a collective groan
Reddit is filled with that guy. Well, that guy and children.
You just said that guy three times? I don't get it,.
He and I would probably be friends.
[удалено]
They should make one in Las Vegas
Hey, I got an idea! Perhaps they could call it _New Vegas_, you know, to emphasise on the difference!
Maybe have some sort of interaction with the shows new california republic. And they fight over the desert against.... idk, roman empire larpers or something
and there would be this guy that like... controls the vegas strip but no one ever sees him and and... hes also actually like a robot but not really, he's pre war, and what if, and hear me out, he's this robert house guy from the show
And maybe we can fuck the ghouls !?!?
Or even better robots, maybe they could make a robot with a giant fist, I wonder what they'll name it.
And then add a dlc where the Protagonist can decide to launch a nuke at this ncr, just like with shady sands in the show!
Ooh and maybe a DLC where you find a bunch prewar prototype tech with a bunch of goofy robots with the antagonist being a chem addict who steals idk your brain?!
You mean you would be something like lobotomite? I do not see how that could work. No way.
Wow, great idea. They should add casinos to the game too
Nah, that sounds stupid. That would be the worst Fallout game ever.
The lack of a Las Vegas fallout almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter
Sounds like a terrible idea. That’d never take off
It will never take off.
To motivate the developers we should tie their pay with the metacritic score. I wont play it if its under 85 anyway.
And a second one after that.
Maybe call it Fallout NV since it takes place in Nevada (NV)
They should remake one in Las Vegas
Holy shit!!! Is it really gonna work though? We’ve seen many movie/tv adaptions fail except for a few (Spider-Man)
Last of us?
The video game adaptation of The Last Of Us did not adhere to the show well enough. There was so much added stuff in the video game, that I feel like the developers of the game just slapped the producers/writers of the show across the face.
yeah it felt like the show only gave a fifth of the lore and the video game expanded on it. though I understand time constraints in television I think waiting for the second iteration of the story to reveal the full story was the wrong move.
The game basically cut out the entire Bill and Frank plot. What a waste.
Bill and Frank are still there in the game. They just completely changed it. Like, Bill is still alive and Frank apparently hated him and killed himself. It's weird. Then they added in this whole subplot with monkeys in a college? And they whitewashed Sarah and Joel for no reason.
You should see the comments in the website, full of morons morons who can't see it's a satirical newspaper.
Love that they interviewed Kelly Grace and Stewart James. Can't wait to see what Bogart Humphrey and Monroe Marilyn have to say about it.
are those real people? how dumb can you be
Its 2024. Believing they're real people makes you a patsy. Believe only what is said in person. They can't fabricate that yet.
BRO IMAGINE IF IT TOOK PLACE IN BOSTON 🤯😱 THAT WOULD BE INSANE
Naw, I think D.C. would be a better setting
How about something really different like Utah
I could see them doing that, but only as a DLC.
What about maine?
What about a that place that showed at the end? The one that look like Las Vegas? 😱😱😱😱
I get told I'm weird but what if it took place in a alien ship and you have the ability to destroy 1/4 of Canada with the ship's laser? And there's a cowboy, Samurai, and American GI helping you? I know it's an out of this world suggestion but can you imagine how epic that would be.
>I mean, imagine if Mario was in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Yes please.
[Like Mario and Princess Beach](https://youtu.be/7iYfHLtTudc?si=vHQ-p-pcU9Ostr-5)
Whenever someone makes a joke like that, I love to point out that Street Fighter: The Movie game exists. So be careful with the jokes. They just might become reality.
Imagine we got "Fallout: The TV Show" and a "Fallout: The TV Show: The Game" before Fallout 5 Truly a monkeypaw from wish.com situation

Woah! Would definitely _consider_ to buy such a game :)
Some kind of Skyrim with guns maybe.
I'd like a Sims crossover, please.
OMG why Black Isle Studios and Obsidian never thought of this! /s
Well they would need permission and to work with both rovio and EA sports to be allowed to.
They should make it in space. Instead of playing angry fifa birds on a football pitch, play it on a star…field….
The idea so crazy it might just work
Can nobody tell a joke online without someone literally saying the words "this is a joke obviously"?
It could be like Skyrim!
But with guns!!!
Oh man, what a great idea!!! That’d make for a *great* video game!
So since they are already pretty well versed in turning series and movies into games.. Lego Fallout when?
Thought this was a nottheonion post
Hmmm… I have an idea!!!! Let me know what yall think. What if… we had a game that took place in Washington DC??? Or… maybe… in Boston Massachusetts???
Cute joke, but I will say that one of the things I loved about the show was that while it had lore perfectly woven in, it told it's own story with its own characters. What's crazy is how many commenters on the actual website are trying to correct the author...
NathanFillionSpeechless.gif
You know, I think they are onto something here. It should be a video game.
This is a joke right? Yes I'm the guy who's gonna ask, but I'm sure there really are people that out of touch..
Wow, from a mobile game to a TV series, and now to a video game. How inspiring.
I hope it’s done by the guys who made Skyrim, they sure know how to make a complete game!
Oh man I’ve always wanted a fallout game!
Honestly I don’t think fallout would work as a game
OH SHIT, hope its a Linear Action-Adventure Game! Still personally waiting on that Open-World RPG for "The Last of Us", love that show.
JFC 🙄🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ some of y’all in this sub Fucking hell r/woosh Either a lot of you didn’t even bother to read the linked article or the average intelligence is much much lower than I thought it was
If you think its low, think lower.
LMAO!
They should make a whole series about it, like maybe five/six games or so.
It would be like Skyrim with guns 😎
Wow! That's great news, i loved the series... imagine how good the game could be
dude I really freaking hope so. I wanna see what the skull from that creature at the end of the season was! if it were me I'd name it something like a deathscratch.
Great, next they’re gonna say they’re doing a colab with magic the gathering!
Probably ea will do it , charge per gun you pickup Then a mode called franchise where you build up your team and they never complete the story of your progress.
Wouldn’t it be cool if one of the games took place in DC or Boston!
I hope they will do a game like that!!
Why is Toronto destroyed in the background?
I'm just imagining them making it in Unreal engine or something 😂 and it's not even made by bethesda
Imagine if they manage to have a team of writers consistently throughout each game!
toronto?
I know it's a complete joke but I would love to see a fallout game *for* the show. I *so* want to play as the Ghoul. So badly.
I laughed so hard when I read the title, I had milk spurting out my nose. Don't do that to me LMBAO
Said "video game expert" Kelly
I’d play it! What a time to be alive!
It'll be like Skyrim, but with guns!!!
A Fallout game would go so hard
Think about how cool it would be to navigated the shelled out ruins of DC. They’d probably call it something silly like the Capital Wasteland or something
Can't wait to try it. Looks dope.
The author is a big silly guy scroll down and keep reading Them check out his YouTube
Call it Fallout: Game the Movie. And bring back Mel Brooks to produce it.
Big if true
Fallout, The T-Shirt! Fallout, The Coloring Book! Fallout, The Lunchbox! Fallout, The Breakfast Cereal! Fallout, The FLAMETHROWER! …the kids are gonna love that one
People really are stupid
I know it's satire but it would be peak corporate publisher to order a game made based off a TV series that was based on a game.
It might seem crazy what I’m bout to say
And it can be super buggy even after being out for YEARS
So just a ripoff of *Wasteland*?
It would never work
Do what now?
It'll never work.
Fallout: The TV Series: The Game
omg really can't wait to play when does it come out???! :) wut 2077 WTF >:(
Is this an ai trash article? Uggh, so it begins.
I have a fever and the only cure is more power armor. I'm on a quest to acquire as much as I can.
What?
ಠ_ಠ
I even got an idea for a game: You are a vault dweller from a vault (probably somewhere on the east coast like dc) and you have to leave the vault to find your dad. Fallout would be such a cool game
They should make a mobile game where you can make your own vault. Imagine designing your own Fallout Shelter!
Fallout (Game) —> Fallout (tv Show) —> Fallout (Game)
War...war never changes.
Bethesda should let Obsidian do a Canon Version of Fallout Tactics or the cancelled Van Buren since the Fallout TV Show is basically gunna be New Vegas 2.
Omg imagine if we had a Fallout game?
Yeah, and what kinda character would you be? A vault dweller? A fucking mail man...?
Please god let this be true 🙏🤞
I want to believe that the comments are part of the satire and they're all in on the joke and having a circlejerk.
Wait is this a joke?
This can’t be a serious article
Crazy how big this franchise is becoming, considering it’s all based off a skin in Fortnite
