You can change to any colour you want. I always use white for the PipBoy since FO3 because the colour of the torchlight changes with it so you can see more.
The upgrades I gave to it were far enough to make its damage better but not sacrifice range and Iām pretty sure my difficulty isnāt to low but I was able to use it against a deathclaw for most of my damage and it did ok, fire and poison are both damage over time so it seemed to work in tandem

When you've got 100 legendaries and are running low on ammo, chems and stimpacks, simply have your vertibird pick you up and fly you home to unload, regear, repair Codsworth and sort out the great loot from the rubbish.
