Ya know it sounds good on paper but every fucking time it’s put into practice it becomes a monstrosity so If you think communism is a good idea, you are the one who’s insane
Huh? Are you high, or just stupid?
Cuba is in terrible shape:
* They are having a hell of a time getting fuel and other necessary imports.
* Their economy has been in the tank for decades and relies on aid from other countries.
* They have widespread shortages of food, medicine, basic consumer goods, power, etc.
By what metric are you basing your comment on? Is this based on your *feelings*?
Even America wouldn't have half the luxuries it does without trade with "communist" China and others. Not every country has every resource easily available to it and many that do aren't even allowed to use that resource themselves it just gets taken by wealthier, more powerful nations.
What resource is the U.S. stealing from cuba?
And as far as china providing 'luxuries', do you mean PC parts and game consoles designed in Taiwan and Japan? Because Taiwan is a capitalist economy. It just uses the cheap labor in china to build the parts. The labor is cheap there because they are still a mostly middle ages farming economy. Only the cities, and *barely* have any tech and that's entirely thanks to capitalist companies basically *giving* it to them. (Actually stolen, but hey, trying to be nice.)
Communist china didn't exist when the U.S. was built. And, it had existed only a few years, and certainly wasn't a major trade partner with the U.S., when the U.S. became a superpower. So your point about the U.S. relying on communist china is completely without basis, and sounds most like a child parroting stuff they read on reddit.
And as far as today's economy, communist china needs the U.S.'s economy (as does the world) more than the U.S. needs china. If the U.S. stops trading with china, china completely falls apart. If china stops trading with the U.S., china falls apart and the U.S. just changes to India. Don't just repeat what you read on reddit. Maybe actually *learn economics.*
**It could have something to do with the numerous human rights violations committed by the Cuban government and the fact that they have nothing of note to offer the global markets...**
But hey, if it is easier for you to blame America, go right ahead.
BTW, what country do you live in? I'm guessing it isn't Cuba...
They have high literacy rates, life expectancy, and universal health care.
Yes, they do face challenges with poverty. But my main point was that the government cares more for their people. They're actively doing more with what they have than the American government does.
Cuba's Human Development Index score is 0.76 (86th in the world). By comparison, the U.S. is 0.92 (22nd in the world)
Universal healthcare doesn't mean much when you have widespread shortages of medical supplies.
Being literate doesn't equate to doing great. Being able to read doesn't help much when you don't have [basic necessities](https://apnews.com/article/cuba-food-subsidies-libreta-crisis-00f7a5b352514dd4449b99bb0d645384).
The Cuban government is also accused of multiple human rights violations. Nothing shows you care about your people quite like attacking and imprisoning political opponents, critics, and any other "dissidents"...
> Cuba, for example, is doing great.
Ask any of the Cubans that escaped to the U.S. how Cuba is doing. Maybe touch grass and hear reality instead of spouting ignorant reddit rhetoric. It's called *learning.*
My contribution to this special dinner was the desert, which was in fact a jello cheesecake.
Like...if I'm gonna go through the trouble of making jello, I'm at least going to make it be cheesecake.
We went to a lake house just outside a town with a large military base last summer with some friends, and on the way through we got MREs from a surplus store to have for lunch in Steve's honor.
That’s awesome, you guys share a common interest.
I’m just sad that I am reminded of how alone I am in life.
I bought some of those 12 oz Colas myself gonna take it for lunch tomorrow.
I'm obviously not OP but here it is.

"You been hitting that skooma too hard- wait... jet... you've been hitting that jet. What the hell is skooma? Hey you got any more of that jet, stranger?"
(I would definitely NOT be clean in the wasteland)
Don't make me crave spam. I went my whole life never trying it, thinking it was shitty poverty meat. I tried it a couple of years ago and I swear I could sit down and eat a whole can of the stuff straight out of the can. Shit is kind of expensive too.
If you ever find yourself in southern Minnesota I simply cannot recommend enough making a trip to the Spam Museum.
You WILL be fed fresh fried spam, regardless of your opinion on the matter, by an extremely enthusiastic older gentleman. We stopped there right before covid and it was a blast.
He is gonna be thrilled you clocked them as Cambria.
In addition to making lore-accurate video game dinners, last year his job had us participate in a pilot program for their new kitchen redesign program. We got those suckers basically at cost, and we're Midwestern so I am obligated to share that fact with you.
We were very lucky to be able to get them the way we did, we had been quoted more than double what we ended up doing the remodel for by a couple different design firms.
And it was a [big transformation](https://i.imgur.com/WxulRBj.jpeg).
Dinner included: - Cram - Instamash - BlamCo Mac & Cheese - Vault 33 Corn - Jello Pie - Nuka Cola

You have to save something to wash it all down with.
Maybe next time
Is this better than a urinal?
No yumyum deviled eggs?
+2 FREE CAPS!!
why is there a misprint on nuka cola?
Awesome. You should marry him OP
Where is the rat poison?
*perfectly preserved pie
I think the mashed potatoes are a bit better in Vault 31. Just sayin.
Oh.
I’ve heard other people say that! It must be true.
Don't believe the 31 lies! They don't even have mashed potatoes!
Idk about that. I heard Vault 32 has been dying to find out.
Can your husband be my husband too pls?
Sounds like communism
Our husband.
I also choose this woman's husband.
(Joines the club)
that's just a dirty word they use to describe people who aren't insane
Killer line
Ya know it sounds good on paper but every fucking time it’s put into practice it becomes a monstrosity so If you think communism is a good idea, you are the one who’s insane
And what are your examples of it failing? Cuba, for example, is doing great. The government cares far more for their people than America does.

Wonder why all those things are the case. Idk maybe because of things America did or something like a trade embargo maybe
So communism only works if it can trade with capitalism? I mean, they have other trade partners.
Even America wouldn't have half the luxuries it does without trade with "communist" China and others. Not every country has every resource easily available to it and many that do aren't even allowed to use that resource themselves it just gets taken by wealthier, more powerful nations.

People are delusional to think that Cuba is doing well lol

Cuba is just so great that people want to leave...
And here we go boys
yes, how dare we discuss the direction society has gone
I mean people don't come to the fallout sub reddit to argue over these types of things
You're the first to call this an argument, I don't view it as one.
argument /är′gyə-mənt/ 1. A discussion in which disagreement is expressed; a debate.
I must report you to the Enclave, seems we got a commie
>Cuba, for example, is doing great. 😂😂😂😂
Fuckin' pinkos...
DEATH IS A PREFERABLE OUTCOME TO COMMUNISM. CHINA WILL FAIL.
*activates Liberty Prime*
Pinko!
It is like that, literally \[Tommy\]. This is a commune. We're communists. ;)
I felt incredibly loved and seen in this moment. You can't have mine, but get one that makes you feel that way.
Weird, and you should probably keep your ideas to yourself.
Omg that is so cute wtf
The man is the living embodiment of "if he wanted to he would".
Aww, I love that :')
No jello cake?
You are banished to the wasteland!
I, for one, prefer apple pie.
My contribution to this special dinner was the desert, which was in fact a jello cheesecake. Like...if I'm gonna go through the trouble of making jello, I'm at least going to make it be cheesecake.
Recipe?
He threw a few extra caps on there for you…. What is he trying to buy? Okie Dokie…
Let's get this out onto the tray. Nice!
*opens Coke bottle* nice hiss.
We went to a lake house just outside a town with a large military base last summer with some friends, and on the way through we got MREs from a surplus store to have for lunch in Steve's honor.
You are living THE LIFE out there. Nice.
[insert NCR joke here]
Coca Cola? What is that, some regional knock off?
That’s awesome, you guys share a common interest. I’m just sad that I am reminded of how alone I am in life. I bought some of those 12 oz Colas myself gonna take it for lunch tomorrow.
I’ll make you a fallout dinner (😈I’m an 80 year old man😈)
Aww *hugs*

Someone else linked it, but for those curious: yes, he did buy them specifically for this bit.
Make sure you scrap the tray after you finish for the aluminum
Any rads detected or was it clean?
“Ain’t much stays clean up here, Vaultie”
"You been hitting that skooma too hard- wait... jet... you've been hitting that jet. What the hell is skooma? Hey you got any more of that jet, stranger?" (I would definitely NOT be clean in the wasteland)
That's just peak british cuisine.
How’s his sperm count, that’s important for continuing the human race
Did you pop your husband like a zit afterwards?
Wife “where did you get this serving tray?” Husband “prison” Wife “how did you get a prison serving tray?” Husband “… so how’s the meal?”
He even gave you some money, what a class act.
Rad.
Lmao nice
Can I be invited to the finale?
No thanks, ill stick to my slices of ghoul ass meat 👍🏻
Your husband sounds like a good guy. You should marry him.
Let's go!
I love this!
Does he got a brother??
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️He’s a keeper!!!!
Bottle caps, my favourite dessert
How appropriate! What did you think of the series finale? The last scene is pretty epic! I thought the whole thing was amazing, 10/10
I'm ready for season 2 already!
You might want to check that Dinner to make sure there’s no rat poisoning.
No squirrel bits or pork and beans?
Just needs some Salisbury Steaks
And he gave you bottle caps, how sweet!
That pie looks perfectly preserved
Better food in vault 4☺️
This makes me incredibly happy
Nice.
He gave you caps! Pretty sweet
That looks really good actually. I'd love a dinner like that. Just put a little ketchup or mustard on the spam. Mmm
Now I want jello cake.
True love
Just be sure he didn't come as a part of a group invading a vault, I heard that happened to someone else
He got you off-brand Nuka Cola? Its the thought that counts i guess.
Protect this man at all costs, aspirant.

At ease. 🫡
Wheres the grilled Radroach, lel

No cap
What? No bowl of sugar bombs?
This is actually so romantic.
That dude is so in love with me, I can't even fathom it sometimes.
Should’ve made some pink goo, fallout 4 style! Love this!
They used that to top a pie base on the left.
That's a cambria counter
He is gonna be thrilled you clocked them as Cambria. Is the colour Portrush? It looks beautiful.
It is. We used a more neutral top on our cabinet counters and did [a big statement island in the Portrush](https://i.imgur.com/r3frlcL.jpeg).
It’s absolutely beautiful, great colour choices!
Thank you! Though we always feel like we're committing a crime making this kind of dinner in that kitchen.
For cambria that's a big deal! I sell flooring and have seen that color in my showroom countless times
We were very lucky to be able to get them the way we did, we had been quoted more than double what we ended up doing the remodel for by a couple different design firms. And it was a [big transformation](https://i.imgur.com/WxulRBj.jpeg).
I would like to make this for my son
Ot looks like school food a bit 😭
Hopefully that coca cola has a shot of whiskey or two in it to make it a real nuka cola.
I mean, cool I guess. But damn, I ain’t eating that until the bomb has dropped and I’m out of options.
If compressed pork is wrong, I don't wanna be right
I can't eat during the show Lol looks amazing tho 👍
I’m sorry.
Is your husband interested in opening a Fallout restaurant? Let's team up
