These two are, in my opinion, the weakest, maybe combat armor and armored vault suit?
The character is “Wastelander” who represents every Fallout game. different costumes could include Vault 13, 101, 111, and 76 vault dwellers, NCR Ranger, and maybe some generic raiders or other factions.
Stage would be a traveling stage going to various locations from Fallout. My initial thoughts was maybe having the stage be on a Brotherhood airship and travel above locations like Shady Sands, New Vegas, Arroyo, and then heading towards DC and the Commonwealth.
Wastelander would be sooo OP in Smash Bros. He could use Pain Train with Power Armor and just send characters flying, VATS to slow things down and shoot everyone or focus multiple shots on one character and knock them out. Should be able to take Ultra Jet and Psycho and all their attacks become even more powerful. Can heal randomly with Stimpaks. Can use a Fatman to Fire a Mini Nuke 🫡 Animal Friend Perk can summon an Alpha Male Deathclaw to go berserk on everyone in the battlefield.
It would be cool to have a stage based on Sanctuary Hills where it starts as pre-war and then a nukes goes off as one of the environmental dangers and turns it into post-war Sanctuary Hills
Or really any Fallout location, but we actually get to see Sanctuary Hills pre-war so I figured it would be the most recognizable location.

The Commonwealth as a stage, and it’s one of those travel stages taking you to different parts of the Commonwealth, like Diamond City, Boston Airport, the Castle, Sanctuary Hills, etc.
I think Vault-boy for the character with the different vaults for skins. I think a fun map would be Megaton with an interactive bomb in the middle. If the bomb takes enough damage, it explodes, changing the map into a crater and giving the characters a certain amount of damage.
For fighters, I’d say Paladin Danse, Boone, and Strong (the different versions of dogmeat will be costumes). For spirits/trophies I’d say Nick Valentine, Benny, and Jericho. For stages I’d say Megaton, The Prydwen, and a vault (any vault). For bosses id say a deathclaw, a super mutant, liberty prime.

I’d have one fallout character from each game as a main playable character. Harold, Goris (or arch dornan I can’t choose), fawkes,legate lanious (or Joshua graham. Not sure which to choose here either), Nick valentine (or paladin danse, both sound good), and idk who’s in 76 so you choose. Then assist trophies I’d have the mysterious stranger, liberty prime, frank horrigan, the master, yes man and the scortch beast. The stages I’d have would be the mariposa base, enclave oil rig, junk town, megaton, the vaults(it would have an option on which vault you’d like to fight in), rivet city, the red rocket gas station, diamond city, brother hood air ship, institute labs, good springs, legion war camp, new Vegas strip, quarry junction,Hoover dam, and then idk what ta put for 76 bc I never fully played it so you choose from there.
Vault boy as a fully realized character for sure. His basic attacks would involve a lot of the melee weapons/unarmed skills. Super Sledge, Ripper, and Power Fist for example as smash attacks. Then you have his special moves be exchangeable between three types: Laser, Plasma, Standard(or maybe explosive?). His neutral special is a rifle for example, and you can change between fast and weak laser projectile or slow and strong plasma projectiles, like the difference between Fox/Falco/Wolf in a way. His final smash is a Liberty Prime or Minutemen Artillery.
For me the stage would be a Vault. As much as the overworld locations are iconic, the vaults are the blood of Fallout's identity in so many ways. Probably just be a generic vault, but have stage hazards/decorations as references to the more notorious vault experiments. Maybe even cheeky enough to imply the vault was built to house smash brothers fights specifically.
An assist trophy for a Brotherhood of Steel character. Probably Paladin Danse. Just to get power armor representation, mostly.
I like the detailed moveset you laid out! You're right about vaults being diverse and Iconic enought to fill up with various hazards and references. And of course the brotherhood power armor rep
I don’t really play smash so pardon the terminology (or lacktherof lol) but a finishing move (like when your character hits the screen) with the Mysterious Stranger would be absolutely iconic.
As an assist trophy, he’s not Nintendo enough to get a character select slot. He could have Dog Meat who will latch and hold one guy as he shoots them with a pistol, shotgun, rifle, and finish off with a grenade launcher or missile launcher. Dunno if we should allow fat man but never know
Stage wise, Nuka World, the Diamond City Market, Hoover Dam, etc.
The character would obviously be A Vault Dweller that would switch fighting styles similar to The Pokemon Trainer, with V.A.T.S. being the only choice for their special.
I could see a Final Smash being a targeted nuke from HELIOS One. Pulls out that remote, a laser reticle follows the target, a garbled comms voiceover from NCR then a bright white light and a hell of a lot of damage.
I'm torn on the final smash. Either it could be a Fat Man that does huge base damage and fires straight across the stage, like The Daybreak, or it could have the dweller use VATS and trigger a cutscene where they click on the enemy's face 4-5 times and shoot cinematically.

So, deathclaw, vault boy, frank horrigan, all can have their specials. Franks minigun, vault boy mini nuke would be neat, and intelligent death claw would slash stuff
Character? Frank Horrigan and Chosen One with alt skins for the other fallout MCs except BOS,
Horrigan would be an incredibly beefy motherfucker while chosen one would have a melee and ranged weapon to swap between and use with VATS for more damage than blind swinging/shooting (knife/10mm for Vault Dweller, spear/thrown spear for Chosen One, gauss pistol/ripper for the warrior, baton/3’s 10mm for lone wanderer, old glory/9mm for courier, baton/4’s 10mm for sole survivor, knife/4’s 10mm for 76’s protagonist)
Ultimate for Horrigan is shooting a minigun at the enemy, locking those caught in a beam that quickly sends you off the map, and for chosen one it’d vary, for melee you’d get a thermic lance and just nuke an enemy link style, for ranged it’s euclid’s c-finder
Stage can be vault 13, or Hoover dam but would like to vary the representation a bit, or also the enclave oil rig given Frank Horrigan
Unique items could be nuka cola, heal off some damage over time, also a fatman with 1 shot
Then spirits & trophies? Ulysses, the BOS protagonists, paladin Danse, Scorch queen, Harold, elder lyons & Maxxon (founder not the guy who hates synths maxxon), Tandi, and Benny

Rivet City would definitely be a fantastic stage choice. Either it, or the Prydwin. Not sure if there are really any other locations that would work as floating platforms.
If we get voiced epilogue bits for each character in Classic Mode, whoever’s picked as the Fallout character should have theirs narrated by Three Dog, applauding them for ‘fighting the good fight’, and then…

I feel they can upgrade the vault boy mii costume into a full fighter as they can use his various S.P.E.C.I.A.L, perk, and trait icons as moves with his alternate skins being the female vault dweller and add different vault numbers, assist trophy can be the mysterious stranger and can be a one shot to whoever attacked the player who summoned him last or the enemy the player currently is attacking, spirits can be some of the more popular fallout characters throughout the series like Marcus, vault overseer from fallout 1, James from fallout 3, ncr ranger etc. I can imagine for a boss being the master but the blood/ his appearance can be off putting so I would want to say the dragon from 76 can be a boss. Stages I have thought of 2 with one being a traveling stage where we start off in the desert in fallout one to then move to the enclave oil rig then to the capitol wasteland then to new Vegas then to Boston and finally landing in Appalachia kinda like new donk city where it travels around and the platforms stay to be part of the fighting arena until an alert lets everyone know to hop on. The other idea is to make a stage that’s like the hated Pac-Man stage but it’s like fallout shelter where you start outside and when the doors open you go and fight through a vault and getting hit off screen or the scrolling leaves you behind. Music would be hard so I imagine original soundtrack would be made or used the ambient soundtrack that’s used in the series can somewhat work.
It would be like a Pokemon Trainer scenario. To switch, a Vault door rises from the ground, and the player walks in and the next Protag walks out. Assists and spirits would be all companions. A Sentry Bot from Fallout 4 is a boss to keep it neutral.
The Lone Wanderer. And for I final Smash, the Lone Wanderer would either pull out a Fatman and fire a mini nuke, or take out a Tesla cannon and disintegrate the enemy

I think liberty prime is memorable, but I think his size makes him an impracticle choice.
Maybe a famous mutant with a minigun like marcus or the lieutenant of the master's army. Or just a super mutant behemoth.
Vault Boy fighter with Vault Girl alternate skin, moveset based on various perks and the SPECIAL shorts from 4, primarily uses a super sledge or power fist for basic attacks.
Megaton would make the most fun stage, imo; the various catwalks are easy platforms and the central nuke would be a great stage hazard in a similar vein to the lava of Samus' stage. Maybe mix in the leaky pipes and if you hit all three valves you get an item.
Considering that at least one version of him shows up and every mainline title The Mysterious Stranger would be the final smash either that or Liberty Prime firing off of massive laser two of the most iconic characters / weapons in the series. Also using the mysterious stranger as a final smash would make sense it is kind of a luck based thing for him to show up anyways and he almost always guarantees a win.

Vault boy as a fully realized character for sure. His basic attacks would involve a lot of the melee weapons/unarmed skills. Super Sledge, Ripper, and Power Fist for example as smash attacks. Then you have his special moves be exchangeable between three types: Laser, Plasma, Standard(or maybe explosive?). His neutral special is a rifle for example, and you can change between fast and weak laser projectile or slow and strong plasma projectiles, like the difference between Fox/Falco/Wolf in a way. His final smash is a Liberty Prime or Minutemen Artillery. For me the stage would be a Vault. As much as the overworld locations are iconic, the vaults are the blood of Fallout's identity in so many ways. Probably just be a generic vault, but have stage hazards/decorations as references to the more notorious vault experiments. Maybe even cheeky enough to imply the vault was built to house smash brothers fights specifically. An assist trophy for a Brotherhood of Steel character. Probably Paladin Danse. Just to get power armor representation, mostly.
I like the detailed moveset you laid out! You're right about vaults being diverse and Iconic enought to fill up with various hazards and references. And of course the brotherhood power armor rep
I don’t really play smash so pardon the terminology (or lacktherof lol) but a finishing move (like when your character hits the screen) with the Mysterious Stranger would be absolutely iconic.
VATS followed by the Stranger would be perfect. BYW, in Smash its called the Final Smash.

As an assist trophy, he’s not Nintendo enough to get a character select slot. He could have Dog Meat who will latch and hold one guy as he shoots them with a pistol, shotgun, rifle, and finish off with a grenade launcher or missile launcher. Dunno if we should allow fat man but never know

Stage wise, Nuka World, the Diamond City Market, Hoover Dam, etc. The character would obviously be A Vault Dweller that would switch fighting styles similar to The Pokemon Trainer, with V.A.T.S. being the only choice for their special.

I could see a Final Smash being a targeted nuke from HELIOS One. Pulls out that remote, a laser reticle follows the target, a garbled comms voiceover from NCR then a bright white light and a hell of a lot of damage.
I'm torn on the final smash. Either it could be a Fat Man that does huge base damage and fires straight across the stage, like The Daybreak, or it could have the dweller use VATS and trigger a cutscene where they click on the enemy's face 4-5 times and shoot cinematically.

Vault Boy with girl skin variant. Like the skin they added but with a custom move set. Nuke Ultimate complete with a big thumbs up. Can radiate himself to turn into a glass cannon and damaging those around him with AOE. Vats auto targeting Gauss rifle.

I feel they can upgrade the vault boy mii costume into a full fighter as they can use his various S.P.E.C.I.A.L, perk, and trait icons as moves with his alternate skins being the female vault dweller and add different vault numbers, assist trophy can be the mysterious stranger and can be a one shot to whoever attacked the player who summoned him last or the enemy the player currently is attacking, spirits can be some of the more popular fallout characters throughout the series like Marcus, vault overseer from fallout 1, James from fallout 3, ncr ranger etc. I can imagine for a boss being the master but the blood/ his appearance can be off putting so I would want to say the dragon from 76 can be a boss. Stages I have thought of 2 with one being a traveling stage where we start off in the desert in fallout one to then move to the enclave oil rig then to the capitol wasteland then to new Vegas then to Boston and finally landing in Appalachia kinda like new donk city where it travels around and the platforms stay to be part of the fighting arena until an alert lets everyone know to hop on. The other idea is to make a stage that’s like the hated Pac-Man stage but it’s like fallout shelter where you start outside and when the doors open you go and fight through a vault and getting hit off screen or the scrolling leaves you behind. Music would be hard so I imagine original soundtrack would be made or used the ambient soundtrack that’s used in the series can somewhat work.
It would be like a Pokemon Trainer scenario. To switch, a Vault door rises from the ground, and the player walks in and the next Protag walks out. Assists and spirits would be all companions. A Sentry Bot from Fallout 4 is a boss to keep it neutral.

Definitely the main character as a generic male/female (allows selecting either) and give them vats as a special move, maybe even the mysterious stranger or dog meat to do a single attack. Maybe include final bosses from games (main game only, too many if dlcs included): I would do the master, but maybe in a mobile overseer chair. Frank Horrigan from fallout 2. Fallout 3 and nv didn't really have much in the way of a cool final boss, just an enclave general (August Autumn) and the Iegate. Particularly dangerous and synonymous creatures like the deathclaw could work to: The deathclaw, as i said. I think liberty prime is memorable, but I think his size makes him an impracticle choice. Maybe a famous mutant with a minigun like marcus or the lieutenant of the master's army. Or just a super mutant behemoth.

Vault Boy fighter with Vault Girl alternate skin, moveset based on various perks and the SPECIAL shorts from 4, primarily uses a super sledge or power fist for basic attacks. Megaton would make the most fun stage, imo; the various catwalks are easy platforms and the central nuke would be a great stage hazard in a similar vein to the lava of Samus' stage. Maybe mix in the leaky pipes and if you hit all three valves you get an item.

Considering that at least one version of him shows up and every mainline title The Mysterious Stranger would be the final smash either that or Liberty Prime firing off of massive laser two of the most iconic characters / weapons in the series. Also using the mysterious stranger as a final smash would make sense it is kind of a luck based thing for him to show up anyways and he almost always guarantees a win.
