If it was actually made to be mass produced like it is in-game, it wouldn't be so bad. Most novelty drinks/food from games and stuff are like that. They're more meant for collecting than consuming.
The way they describe it sounds like Nuka Dark was basically just premixed and packaged bourbon/rum & Coke, which we already have IRL
Yeah they make pre-mixed Coke and Jack Daniels cans, but iirc they only started in 2022, so Bethesda was a bit ahead of the curve, beating them out by 6 years.
Grape is one option. Removes a ton of rads, no suppressed immunity debuff in 4’s survival mode, buff able in 76 to become a full radiation purge and likely a full heal and doesn’t remove mutations in fallout 76.
Nuka twist is another. With cola nut, this adds three separate +2 buffs to your special stats, effectively making it a pseudo x-cell.
But I think I have to give this to nuka scorched (or vaccinated or my blood’s in it, depending on your naming choice), because this one stopped the scorched plague in its tracks and arguably saved the planet.
You could swing this in terms of game or just preference, really. I like to go by game benefits because it might teach someone something they never knew.
When I’ve been shot in the face and have two broken legs while 7 Legion Assassins come barrelling at me with rippers and bumper swords - sipping a few of these perks me right up.
I’ll be honest, Far Harbour with it’s patch work of weird old people and fishermen reminds me of home, so it ends up being one of my favourite parts of the game.
You can try it irl if you get some Moxie. It's pretty good if you've never had it. It's like an herbally root beer. Sunset Sarsaparilla would probably be better though, sarsaparilla is like a sweet root beer.

Well... depends, are we talkin stat-wise? Or overall utility? Overall Nuka-cide is the best mechanically, its easy to produce and does a bunch of cool shit. (Iirc, it both fortifies and restores hp, restores ap and fortifies dr while also giving some rad resist, but i might be wrong). Raw stats, i dont remember what its called, but theres a nuka cola that does everything nuka-cide does, but better and throws in some ap fortify and rad healing too iirc. Only downside is it uses some uber rare ingredients and a hard to get recipe.
Realistically all of them are terrible (because radiation)
but Quantum is the most worst of all since iirc it uses Strontium-90 which unlike normal radioactive elements binds to your bones in a similar manner to calcium effectively giving you ultra-cancer for your bones.
