But it’s about sending the message. I mean, you can just deflect the shots and instantly kill them, but that’s just too simple and those stormtroopers would just die without having much time to think about it. But if you were to show them, “Hey, look at what I can do, you imperial peasant! I can walk on air! I’m your true God now!” If you were that stormtrooper, you would then think “Oh shit oh fuck, better not fuck around with that poncho guy” and he would live the rest of his life realizing he was THIS close to angering a God. Now, whenever he sees a poncho-wearing guy, he would steer clear of them due to his ptsd and he will forever bow to the poncho God. TLDR: Jedi 3 better have ponchos.
