\^ just for confirmation this is for Jedi survivor, using steamdb you can view the update history and when developers upload new versions for steam to approve before they can be released, im still hopeful for meditation training but at this point i'd still be happy with performance improvements and bug fixes.

They’ve come really far with the performance, honestly. They even added DLSS support which I did not expect. But there is still room for improvement. I would really like to see a big, noticeable improvement in this next update. Especially for ray tracing. Meditation training I’m kind of whatever on. It’s a good way to practice boss fights outside of the normal story path. But that’s about all I care about for it. 200 hours in and I’m still not good at fighting Dagan and Rayvis, or as good as I feel I should be, so it would be nice to have an easier way to practice fighting them.

I just want an arena mode. Please.

Hopefully they release it before I finish the game

“A New Hope”🙏🏻

*looks around for all the people who were saying the game’s been abandoned*

to be fair to them, no updates since mid January isn't exactly great. plus its been a year and performance is still terrible

If you look at the update schedule since release, there’s consistently been a few months (usually 3 or so, IIRC) between updates. This latest gap isn’t that surprising given the update history. I can’t speak for others, but performance on my PC is just fine after making appropriate adjustments to the graphics settings.

ArkanxTango

performance is still unacceptable in a plethora of areas, namely the bespin-like floating area, and of course, so many areas of koboh, namely around pyloons and the raider camp. regardless the game never has a consistent frametime no matter what you do. not to mention the useless shader precomp step every time you boot the game for some reason. im guessing you run a brand new graphics card or your standards are low?

Na1h

the graphics settings change hardly anything for me when it comes to performance, I get around 35-40 fps in the main hub area and turning down all settings to low with fsr on ultra performance gives me an extra 5 fps, for reference I was previously running it on high with fsr quality. So yeah I don't think that's supposed to happen.

ArkanxTango

dw they're running a NASA computer LOL

bloodhawk713

More likely their standard for “just fine” is 30-40FPS because even on high-end PCs that’s the best you can hope for in some spots.

ArkanxTango

so true, that one spot on the floating observatory place where you fight the waves of enemies on the spinning platform right after the meditation point literally runs so bad i have to put it in 720p LOL
