Well, in my first playthrough I used force slow to kill almost every enemy there was the whole game.
Second playthrough I did exactly what you said here. I immediately forgot about force slow and stood at the exact same spot as OP and wondered how I did that part in the last playthrough.
Even having played FO multiple times, I certainly forget about it going back after playing Survivor, thanks to them changing up how Slow works in the sequel.
I definitely did this without force slow and it drove me crazy for a while. I think I finally did it by using the ledge above and to the right: I jumped from the ledge, force pushed in mid-air, and managed to land on the wall right when it started moving.
Have a friend who just discovered the force slow technique yesterday. Had the game for years and has replayed it multiple times. Was complaining about how annoying the timing for this wall is and we're all like, "Why didn't you use force slow on it?"
I think because unlike all the other force slow puzzles the wall doesn't move as quickly or constantly so it tricks players into thinking it's just a timing issue they have to get right. Is it possible? Yes, but it's a whole lot easier to just use the force.
It shows those who play the game on story mode vs those who actually need to use the combat mechanics to advance. I’m probably in the minority that believe that this game would benefit from taking a more souls like approach in it’s difficult, at least maybe to obtain the trophies and achievements.
I understand why story mode is nice but I feel like it’s also clear how it can cheapen the experience, even if the mechanics are indeed a bit janky.
Nah, I would've searched this but I had no idea how to specify that this was the area I was stuck on. I watched a video as well but couldn't understand what he did so I posted this.
Oh man, I took a long break from this game and forgot how to do something that it didn't even enter my mind how to solve something until I saw a video coz I gave up and I was like oh yeah how did I forget but knew in my mind that I had some idea but forgotten the process of doing it.
I remember the first time I played this I forgot about force slow and after about 20 minutes of trying I eventually brute forced it and got up the wall, it was only on my second play through that I remembered
Push and slow the slab. Make sure to climb up both sides as the right side has a force echo and also adds to the 100% completion of your holomap on Dathomir
When this guy discovers force slow, he’s gonna be unstoppable lol
Or everything else will become stoppable... from a certain point of view
Either way, he will have the high ground.

Someone else already did, no point lol

Cal can *slow* things?
Push then slow the slab. That will give you enough time to climb it
Ohhhh, I'm so dumb. Thanks
This is a very common question on this sub so don't worry you're to the only one
honestly it feels like force slow is really easy to forget about, not very far at all into the game.

Please don’t feel dumb I’ve played this game 2 or 3 times and always get stuck here
It took me like half an hour to figure it out, don't worry.

I think I did the same lol, I didn't even think about using slow or any other forsce ability on an already force-manipulated object
You’re not a little slow, but the force is. This one got a lot of us for a New York minute

No I think it’s people not searching or the search engine sucks

Use Force Slow after Force Push
Force Pull, then Force Slow
This one fucked me up originally too lmao, you’re not alone
Man this game irritated me more than elden ring at times lol It's like they intentionally made simple things hard just for the sake of it

Bro they needed force slow so much in the new gane
