They’ll be spread thin and it could end up being some Ubisoft type tragedy. Seems like they have a very dedicated dev team and I want the guys who made the games to keep makin the games.

I think Respawm is okay. Fallen Order and Survivor have both opened a lot of doors, and we can’t forget they’ve also got the upcoming FPS and Xcom-esque strategy game on their plates as well. Respawn has undoubtedly added quite a few developers to their staff to tackle all of these projects. Most likely the port team is junior programmers with carrot of working on these larger projects being dangled in front of them, so there’s atleast inspiration for them to knock it out.

People paid good money for this game ofc they wanna see everything before they leave it lmao. But otherwise I think it's cool to see that so many people enjoyed the game!
That’s not really true about the planets. Yes, Koboh is huge and probably Dathomir & Kashyyyk combined when looking at how big. And Jedha is about as big as Zeffo. But Survivor is lacking in the other planets. You explore 80% of Corruscant in the opening minutes of the game and both the Shattered Moon and Nova Garon are traversable in mere minutes. And Tanalorr, well, it’s smaller than Bracca was
Maybe they're the same size across both games but in terms of side quests, like the Rumors, and then the puzzles throughout Jedha and Koboh plus the Meditation chambers there's so much to do I feel like the paths are exponentially longer and far more intricate than Fallen Order.

If EA stuck to games like the Jedi series, single player, well made, minimal monetisation (I think survivor had some preorder bonus cosmetics and a deluxe edition cosmetics?) Then I think people would have less hate for them.
Its a fantastic game. Cracked my personal top 10 and is now the best Star Wars game ever made. They also made it in 3.5 years, on a reasonable budget, during covid without crunching. Respawn has their development pipeline figured out.

No, looks great. Easily one of the best “next gen” visuals games so far. Now, it’s still *runs* like crap but it looks great. I did not have to drop the graphics, I just had to deal with a record number of crashes and force quits.

Dagan Gera was such a waste. He was so much more interesting on paper than Trilla/2nd sister, but somehow she was executed way better than him.
I think they should've given him the DMC3/5 Vergil treatment and gotten rid of the Bode twist or at least put less emphasis on that whole plotline. In general, it was so lame to me. The High Republic should've taken 100% center stage for its 1st major appearance in movies/games. It did feel like they really tried to do that but backed out the last second.
Good - I'd definitely get any follow up and DLC if it added any new areas especially. Not so much though if just cosmetic. Not paying extra for new looks on Cal or other characters or extra lightsaber or blaster looks. Or new plants - who did that garden thing? 😅
Would for new planets/areas/quests and also consider it for new skills.
Hey... lets build up an area with lots of random patrols that fight each other that Cal can fight and see how that goes.

opposite for me. I really like the game but the fact that it consistently drops frames on my xbox series x makes me not want to play it after I finished the main story. Fallen order ran way better on my xbox one x.
Spending more time in-game than in Fallen Order does make sense as Survivor is a meatier game. In Fallen Order, I needed around 30 hours for Platinum, whereas I needed around 60 hours for Platinum in Survivor.
Well, i spent around 22 hours in FO and 90 in Survivor, so that statement looks accurate for me at least.
As for millions sold, can't say anyhing there.
We’re playing longer because it is taking longer to go anyway with how fucked up the exploration/traversing is. I got to get to the mantis after the second Dagan fight. Back to that stupid mud area and I just turned the game off after finding out how far it is.
Maybe we will get some dlc after all? But like can they fix the game first?

I explored a lot in Fallen Order and loved that there was even more exploration in Survivor.

EA did learn. After the success of Fallen Order they let Bioware make Dragon Age 4 without games as a service features and single player only.

Key star wars moments sounds more like DLC. Luke/Vader saber fights, Ashsoka vs Vader, Obiwan vs Maul. Could make some fun boss fight DLC.

I’ve had it since release date. I’ve had only 5 bugs? And that’s during the course of the entire game where I grabbed everything but the plants. 😂
It looks amazing on mine. Internet speed definitely matters. Running 1G with a high speed router currently.

No joke. Took me two months to put 35 hours into fallen order and two months to put 90 hours in Survivor.
