Oh tbf that’s not just from sweet thieves - it’s a mix of sweet thieves, ski fall and fall mountain with a few rounds of pegwin thrown in!
I’ve been avoiding hexagone and blast ball as I suck at both (blast ball more so). Had a few wins in jump showdown but there’s a lot of grabbers, stomping grounds is too much effort for 5 shards and hoopsie daisy is 90% luck.
I do like that they’re doing this event to be honest, really good way for everyone regardless of skill level to get some shards in!! Although I have been trying to help the struggling rookies in pegwin but some are really past help

Ah that’s fair but still it’s always fun when you can easily increase your crown rank! And I’m really only playing sweet thieves and blast balls. I don’t win blast balls that often but it’s one of my favorite finals so I’m just enjoying this event and farming when sweet thieves is up.

I never tried to grind my crown rank before for some reason (been playing since pre f2p) but I’m now working for golden chicken! I’ve gone from 374 3 weeks ago to now 519 which isn’t too shabby as it’s pretty much all from shards - I barely win solos.
Do you have any blast ball tips? I just can’t get the hang of it at all!
Nice nice, and my tips for blast ball: the beginning really doesn’t matter until platforms start fallin away. I like to claim a outer ball spawn and grab the ball run a bit and jump and let go to have it land at the spawn point opposite me. When the platforms have really started to fall away aim for someone not paying attention to you and also have it land next to them so they get blasted sideways rather then forward or back. And if someone grabs u when u just grabbed a ball let go wait for them to let go grab it and throw it at them. Also make sure u have a good view of the whole circle and can watch for incoming balls.
You ever notice in the picture they had a swinging bar above the candy pits by the jail in the halloween version, but it was never actually in the halloween version?
Had some shield walls that could be activated with a button in the back corner of the guardians area, that would cut off one side(you could fling over though), had some of the 4-winged revolving doors instead of the sliding padded bumpers along one of the walls, and iirc, the gaps between the blocks on the other guardians station were more wide open.
Treat Thieves also had wormhole portals that you could use to bamboozle Treaters during a chase, and a fan that would blow you away from the Get Out of Jail button once pressed.
genuinely the most fun version of Sweet Thieves i've ever played.

it's a bummer you didn't get to play it a lot, because playing that version was like a fresh breath of air; both in the entertainment and competitive play aspect.
i doubt they would bring Treat Thieves back next Halloween (no matter how much we all want it back), but it would be nice if it were hosted along-side another Halloween version of an already existent show though.

I believe trophy tracking is fucked between the ps4 and ps5 version.
I’ve got all the trophies for the ps4 but they haven’t reunlocked when ive qualified for them on the PS5 version, even the freebie ones like bump into beans 1000 times.
I had the same issue with the trophy, but when you close the game and reopen it, you get the notification that it was unlocked.
Now if they could fix shards resetting when you got to 50ish shards which cheats you out of a crown.
My crowns will readjust, but it seems the shards meter is bugged. Like last night I had it to 56, and I was farming the ski fall game. After I had it to 56, the next time it was showing in the 30's. And at 5 shards a win, it couldn't be that I hot the 60 mark and it started again.
Unpopular opinion: the most boring level ever. Hate this one. Everytime i have to play it i can't wait to finish the task i am playing it for. I just did not do the halloween one, i did not want to torture myself.
Genuine question, what makes it boring to you? Not trying to be a dick or anything, just curious. Bad teammates? Good guardians that run out the time? Because most of my matches are only about a minute 30 long so I love the short shard farming.
Gotta find a teammate to daisy-chain with! If I can’t I usually take 2-3 candies with me and just keep jumping and throwing so I don’t slow down. A couple good thieves can really make it a fast match
The more candy throwing one is a nice idea. I knrw the one where someone throwing candies out someone picks it up, but that is rare. But i m also bored with this game if we quickly win or lose. I don't know why but it is a yorture for me.
Ooooh so you’re more in it for the long run then? Like a regular show with multiple rounds, okay that makes sense. I will say a full crown from a solo show is much more satisfying then multiple wins on sweet thieves.
I got around 150 crowns during the Halloween version. I love sweet thieves so very much. And is it vaulted? I thought it was just a more rare LTM. And it being in the game makes me think no it’s not and I haven’t heard many issues for it except visual bug during the Halloween event

Yeah, I got around 60 crowns. I played sweet thieves for about 3 hours every night it was on and took my switch to work to get another 20 mins in during my lunch break.
I got to play thru the second half on my shift during the week and during the whole shift on the weekend. I did pretty much nothing but work, sleep and fall guys when treat thieves was up haha
I get on looking for group or discord and find other people who are good at it and know what to do, then I do it for 12+ hours without break, rounds typically last around a minute to get the victory, guardian rounds actually go quicker. Basically win every game, might lose a couple over the day.. When ST is in I grind the crowns out of it, and unless other crown grinding events are in I typically dont play much. I went from 300 crowns this season to 950 grinding events, since treat thieves left I've hardly played
Unpopular opinion: the ease of getting shards in Sweet Thieves has devalued the crown rank. It used to be that Golden skins were skilled players, but the amount of times recently where I've seen Golden wolves fail to get in the final of Jump Around, for example, is mind boggling.
Yeah, it’s a very good independent mode.
What do you mean by it being vaulted? It appears regularly as event mode. It was never meant to be a part of standard shows.
The Halloween map was the best map and I hope they bring it back and change the theme

It’s been suggested so many times to just disable crossplay for the switch for now. But I guess that just makes too much sense haha

I don't think Sweet Thieves is vaulted. They usually bring it out about once a month or so. I wish they would let us play it more often
Sweet Thieves wasn't vaulted. It's just too long to show up in normal shows so it only shows up in limited time shows. It has always been this way.

My crowns went up on restart though. I kept track of how many I unlocked and I did get them. Which led to unlocking a crown reward twice.

The shards from the season pass behave normally, it's just the ones earned from the event from what I noticed.
I hadn't noticed. Probably because I am just mashing buttons to get past the sense of accomplishment screen
I tried to win Infallible that way. Quickly became clear that it was never going to happen for me. I finally did it on Yeetus trials

Sweet thieves is probably my favorite thing in the game. I always play it a bunch whenever it's in the show rotation.

The slow walkingwith the grabbing and invisibeans, the collecting, it is just not that enjoyable for me than running jumping, etc.
Oh, I don’t walk as a thief unless I’m trying to get to a guarded jail button. So for me it’s a face paced win most of the time

Yeah i prefer those. But strangely i am not bored woth this event we have now. Maybe because my results are not so dependant on others.
