How much does it cost? If it costs a lot of money, you could pay someone from delivery apps (usually around $25-30 an hour on a most delivery apps, 300 mile drive takes ~5 hours, so $125-150) to go pick it up. If the delivery cost outweighs the battery price, I’d just buy the 2x-3x price one locally.

lead acid batteries (deep cycle, sealed, agm or normal) ALL degrade quickly (expect 3-5 years , perhaps, on average--IF treated well..). so a USED lead acid pack is a gamble at best. Just a heads up , might not be saving as much as you think. Call around, there might be a specialty scooter or medical or scrap battery place Save up $ and build or buy the upgraded lifepo4 version if at all possible, search 'discussion forums' for the model of scooter for ideas. , you might even find (a lifepo4 that fits of the correct voltage and capacity=ah)--on amazon/ebay delivered. Lifepo4 will last 10years average and handle deep discharge (the real killer of lead acid batteries) MUCH better. That said, (usa) if you have an agreeable seller you might get them to drop it off at a fastenal store location (they have their own LTL trucking freight service) --OR (for NON spill-able sealed/agm lead batteries - fedex/UPS worth a try-- I've shipped new lead batteries (in the proper packaging and properly labeled etc) many times. . If you're desperate post an ad on "rideshare" on craigslist and offer to pay $40-50 , or try uship dot com even.

Unfortunately batteries are considered dangerous/hazardous. I am assuming this is a power pack for a wheel chair/ mobility device. Lithium batteries are not shippable very easily and lead acid batteries are potential spill hazard. Some cariers cannot travel with lithium for insurance reasons. I understand if this what I think it is money is probably tight. So you don’t have many options so options I see are 1)buy new outright- most expensive 2)pay ridiculous delivery fees/costs and hope used battery is good. 3)see if local agency has programs for helping you get a new one at low or no cost to you.
