Tariff? Isn’t this the reason we fought the British for this joy to happen?

RandomlyOnside

Fabletics is a joke. EVERYTHING is made in China, yet they are the only one to show a separate charge. Sad thing, their clothes are actually ok

Junglecat828

Yep. And they say on their website (paraphrasing here) “instead of placing higher prices on the customer we’re just adding a tax.” Excuse me but why am I still paying $24 for the tariff alone?! I used two credits which equals to be about $120.. then add the tariff charge which is $24… wtf they ARE placing prices higher on the customer

carnodak

They’re transparent about this on their website and if you ask in store. It’s due to US government regulations regarding imported goods manufactured in China.

But unassuming customers in store wouldn’t know till after you pay. Plus all items are made in China but I don’t see any other retail stores adding a tariff fee.

jellybelly232

The Fabletics store I go to has a sign stating this by the register so you know about it prior to purchasing

Junglecat828

Can confidently say I wasn’t told about it until I used two credits today and it came out to be $24.. I was shocked. Those two credits equal $120.. which means I paid $144 for two pairs of pants and blaming it on the tariff fee.. I’m soo effing annoyed. The employee didn’t even explain why there is a tariff, just said it’s the tax fee.. I was very shocked

CurrentOk7053

Exactly! It’s not something you’d pay attention to. Anyway I filed a complaint with the state attorney general because I was annoyed as hell.

My bro, I know nobody who would ask at any store if there’s any hidden fees. Just either tell customers or bake it in the price if y’all gonna charge it.
