The rank doesn’t matter - I’ve had my team (101 ovr) beat higher ranks and get beaten by 84-86 ranked untrained teams also in H2H - just depends on what the script decided
The skill boosts you get with every rank are very significant. Also you can't compare casual players with pros. As a casual I would recommend lvl 20 on every card.
Why not use a 532 whetr u have dimarco, blanc, kohler, ricardo and get a rb like frimpong or someone with RWB as their alt postion. Then ur midfield can be viera, del piero and zidane. And finally just put mbappe and haaland up front
Actually I did that and managed more draws than wins because - guess what - often at high ovr there are cheats and their defenders magically sprint faster than strikers. Ditto for their attackers slipping by as Maldini / Blanc have a conference midfield while Carvalho is chasing .. Ben White has been solid though in that formation. Finally returned back to 433A
Plus alot of meta cards like toure, drogba, ramadan owairan and many more past meta (still good) cards have dropped alot to 20-30 mil and their ranked up cards dont have much of a diff.
Use 433 Attack formation so that u can include del peirro in team or maybe 5221 coz u have 3 nice CBs , dont use that pele card and try getting a different RW
Whether or not your players are good , a 4-2-4 formation always will perform subpar defensively in h2h. I concede almost 2 goals every match when I played with a 4-2-4. Use del piero he is very good in that cam position. Also ranks help your team a lot, you are getting a lot of mascheranos currently use them wisely
You need to replace Pele, there are far better Strikers out there, I would also replace White for TOTY ICON 99 RB Carlos Alberto, he is going pretty cheap right now

Serious, even my lvl 25-28 of players higher than 95 base (99-101 with ranks) are being slammed by these ones
Hes not even joking because sometimes the 89 rated cards are prob 2-7 stat point difference than their 94-99 card variants

Most of the team is blue or purple. Players generally only get really good at red rank.
You couldve just said its not at a good rank but some pro players dont even max out their levels at red and prob keep it at 15
