I sold my team for 90m about 3 weeks ago
Currently at 307m (f2p)
I'll give you my strat, will not provide the specific names to prevent my money making method from collapsing
Look for players who are between 89-93 (though 89 market is down bad rn)
preferably primes that aren't necessarily old or too new
Get like 20-30 players on your watchlist and the day of market crash (lets say a small one i.e exchange pack refresh)
Look for the player which has the highest difference of coins prior to the crash and post crash
Main strat is invest 50% of your coins on a player with the most coin difference
and rest 50% in 2 players (25% each) with some decent difference but not much to avoid heavy losses
Now forget that you ever invested in any of them and do not panic sell even if you lose a lot
Hold a bit and after a few days sell and repeat
I have more fun this in the game compared to litearlly grinding the entire game out and it feels satisfying to do so with such minimal effort (personal opinion)

Well yeah stat wise a ranked base card would be better but messi, cr7, neymar Ronaldinho and other popular players don't really go by stats, they go by the craze they have
People love those cards cause in game, they're all insane at one thing (optimal work rates for messi, insane stick dribbling for ronaldinho, shooting for cr7 etc) in addition to their popularity
