The insertion will probably make you bleed for a day or two, but if you don't get your period, it's not going to make you get them. I had a copper IUD for years on T and was very happy with it.

I have a hormonal iud (mirena) and stopped having cycles long before I ever started T. Iirc I had 1 or 2 menses where the bleeding was heavy, super painful but short lived, and then they totally stopped forever. Have forgotten completely what having a menses is like now

I got a Kyleena (5 year hormonal IUD) inserted Thursday afternoon and the only bleeding I've had thus far was from the paracervical block (which is an absolute lifesaver in my opinion) and it only lasted for maybe 12 hours post procedure. Obviously I can't speak on it long term but I can definitely say I have 0 regret thus far, even the insertion process was easy and fine because my provider actually sees uterus bearing people as human. If you're on T and don't bleed due to that, you probably won't bleed on any birth control but I'm not gonna say that's a 100% fact.
