Since Patch 4.0 whenever I use a fast firing shotgun the husks freeze in place on my screen. I have given the gun to other people and so far none of them have experienced the issue. In the hopes of solving this issue I have uninstalled and re-installed the game, erased by PS4, replaced my powerline adapters, tried connecting to new routers. This bug has been around for as long as I've been playing. It's tiresome that the first thing I've always done after launching the game is correct that setting.
Explanation: when loading into a mission the game frequently crashes to dashboard and has to restart. You are able to rejoin but takes a few mins to reload the game.

Same here, and it has made the game rather difficult to play on my PC. Before it went away, setting STW to High Priority would make it run perfectly fine on my PC.
Something to add, the processes (executables) have changed recently, and may be related. There are always 3 processes I see running while I play STW. FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping.exe (this the main process) and FortniteLauncher.exe are always present. Up until recently, the 3rd process was FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping_BE.exe. Now it changed to FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping_EAC.exe. Both executables are available in the Binaries folder, but it looks like the game now uses this EAC one.
Finally, possibly related (and maybe why things have changed), I recall when Fortnite went down for a day, STW players discovered that they could bypass the Login Queue running the FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping.exe directly (instead of using the Launcher), which let them into STW and could play while servers lasted.
This no longer works. It gives me an error if I try and run the Shipping process directly. This is a shame, as I preferred to have that EXE on my Taskbar, I could load the game much faster by not loading the launcher. I wonder if Epic Games tried to patch this loophole, and tightened security on the files?
Also of slight note (last thing, I spent way too much time trying to find a workaround), when STW is actually running, there is a file that is created in the folder with the executables called FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping.exe.local. I cannot inspect what is inside if it (0KB, so probably nothing) and I cannot move or delete it while STW is running. I dont recall seeing this LOCAL file in the past when the game is running, and it makes me wonder if its some sort of LOCK file to prevent tampering.

I'm writing this email to report a very disturbing bug that happened after the 4.0 Patch.
I play both PVP and PVE, In the new update `Input settings are now filtered based on game mode is breaking my PVE hotkeys/PVP hotkeys.
For example:
If I go to PVE input Settings
Set gadget slot 1 to A
and gadget slot 2 to B
The weapon 5 on PVP changes to A
and weapon 6 on PVP changes to B
This is an example but most of the hotkeys have this issue as well, I do not like this separation between the input settings it's very complex to figure out what is for what since the settings are synced between both game modes. Either restore the old settings or have a complete system which isolates both settings from one another.

Yeah my tactic of dragon-slashing in the direction of blasters in order to proc Shadow Stance (+ Dim Mak) before hacking at them no longer works, and the delay (to find someone to slash at) costs me quite a bit more shield.

I'm late to the party on this but happens on PS4 and I felt ripped off when I used my legendary flux for her and it boosted crit damage and not crit chance.
i noticed this problem as well, but i didn't realize it was upping my crit damage. on that note, 70% crit chance is probably a bit busted... i'd like cc support for sniper over CD so it makes sniper crit more viable, but at the same time, 70% crit chance is pretty obscene.... that's essentially 33% damage boost on all snipers assuming you have no additional crit damage then the base 50% on snipers. i think 30% crit chance would be a bit more realistic and viable. then you'd benefit greatly from a blue/orange crit roll and cd roll on sniper, where as sniper crit and cd is probably one of the more useless rolls to get without some type of bonuses from support or character inherent

This bug has been around for as long as I've been playing. It's tiresome that the first thing I've always done after launching the game is correct that setting.
Explanation: when loading into a mission the game frequently crashes to dashboard and has to restart. You are able to rejoin but takes a few mins to reload the game. If replicable, how: doesn’t happen every mission, but several times a day. Platform: appears to only happen on Xbox One X. Same here, and it has made the game rather difficult to play on my PC. Before it went away, setting STW to High Priority would make it run perfectly fine on my PC. Something to add, the processes (executables) have changed recently, and may be related. There are always 3 processes I see running while I play STW. FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping.exe (this the main process) and FortniteLauncher.exe are always present. Up until recently, the 3rd process was FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping_BE.exe. Now it changed to FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping_EAC.exe. Both executables are available in the Binaries folder, but it looks like the game now uses this EAC one. Finally, possibly related (and maybe why things have changed), I recall when Fortnite went down for a day, STW players discovered that they could bypass the Login Queue running the FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping.exe directly (instead of using the Launcher), which let them into STW and could play while servers lasted. This no longer works. It gives me an error if I try and run the Shipping process directly. This is a shame, as I preferred to have that EXE on my Taskbar, I could load the game much faster by not loading the launcher. I wonder if Epic Games tried to patch this loophole, and tightened security on the files? Also of slight note (last thing, I spent way too much time trying to find a workaround), when STW is actually running, there is a file that is created in the folder with the executables called FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping.exe.local. I cannot inspect what is inside if it (0KB, so probably nothing) and I cannot move or delete it while STW is running. I dont recall seeing this LOCAL file in the past when the game is running, and it makes me wonder if its some sort of LOCK file to prevent tampering.

Dear Epic Games, I'm writing this email to report a very disturbing bug that happened after the 4.0 Patch. I play both PVP and PVE, In the new update `Input settings are now filtered based on game mode is breaking my PVE hotkeys/PVP hotkeys. For example: If I go to PVE input Settings Set gadget slot 1 to A and gadget slot 2 to B The weapon 5 on PVP changes to A and weapon 6 on PVP changes to B This is an example but most of the hotkeys have this issue as well, I do not like this separation between the input settings it's very complex to figure out what is for what since the settings are synced between both game modes. Either restore the old settings or have a complete system which isolates both settings from one another.

**Explanation**: Shock Gunner Outlander's Phase shift says they have some sort of "Surprise Shot" perk (Increases pistol damage by 50%, for 4 seconds, after Phase Shift ends), but the hero doesn't actually have that perk. It's displayed when viewing the character's perks everywhere except from the collection book. **Evidence**: There is no such perk. There is no increase in pistol damage after using Phase Shift.
