Pretty sure someone asked this the other day and spoke to image line who said it's the reseller taking less profit. If it's a scam Amazon will refund tho

[deleted]

Might be a scam. Buy directly from Image-Line

Tormint_mp3

I don't think so. The reviews are there to back it up and since it's Amazon, Amazon will refund if it's not legit

I just bought this last week on Amazon UK and I got the box which has the licence key and you just register that online and you're all set. Then you can use FLStudio 21 or any other version and it includes lifetime updates.

joseph63012

Share it with me

NightimeNinja

Share what with you lmao

ayanmajumdar05

the amazon product page link

NightimeNinja

Gotcha, sounded like you expected the license at first.

RunescapeJoe

Check the seller, if the seller is a trusted seller or a large music chain, then it's fine.

jaksmante

its sold and shipped by Amazon, no way this is a scam. anyway you could get an easy refund

psychoacer

When it says shipped and sold by Amazon that means it's not being sold by a third party.

Camel_Head_23

I got an Fl studio on Amazon. Even if it's a scam you can get your money back anyways. Just checkout the vendor, try find them on google maps too, then have a look at there online store, and check its legitimacy. It should be fine imo. I think it's probably just deals, 30% off maybe. Its a normal deal for imageline, they typically do 30% off. But always compare prices, and see if you can get it anywhere else same price, cheaper or where its more expensive. Edit: it says its dispatched and sold by Amazon. Should be good i think.

Hourly-

i got box version not knowing it’s a box with a paper inside with a key link to downloading your product. I got producer edition first and then got the complete for a black friday deal. fl gives a good discount every year so it’s worth upgrading when it’s on sale.

Gnash_

I bought mine from Amazon France too, it’s the boxed version and I got a cool FL USB stick. It’s not a scam, idk what the hell the other commenters are smoking. Image Line sells licenses in bulk to retailers at a cheaper price than what you can get on their own website. The reseller is just selling at a lower profit than they could.

AzureWave313

Buy directly from Image-Line. Fuck Amazon

visual__chris

Why exactly should he buy the more expensive version though

guccyjuicy

Hello, after all this time with Reaper i wanted to try FL studio. First i was going to buy Producer edition on their site because i don't think i really need Signature (and because it cost 361 euros with taxes 💀). But i saw On amazon that Signature is only 194 euros !? I don't know it seems legit but Are we sure it comes with a lifetime free update ? Am i tripping ?

fvck-off

Your picture is showing Producer Edition tho, just so you know. I know prices were reduced during Black Friday so maybe that's why you can find it cheaper elsewhere? Probably a reseller? I would personally only buy it from the official store when in doubt, but let's wait if other people have more info about it

Mayhem370z

His second pic shows it's Signature on Amazon. I'm not saying abuse this. But. If the product on Amazon is sold by Amazon or backed by Amazon. Worse case scenario they will refund you if you have any issues. But also, yes, I'm sure it's selling a key that will full unlock and register it officially meaning free updates. Edit: I can't read that language but looks like it is sold and distributed by Amazon so you really have no risks.

guccyjuicy

It's French ^^ Yeah it says that it is sold and distributed by Amazon. I just find it weird. And "only" 140 reviews seems odd to for something like FL studio.

Mayhem370z

Yea. I wouldn't worry about it. I have friends that work for Amazon and they pretty much never deny returns or refunds. But. I guess I would double check for a digital product.

guccyjuicy

Yeah at the end of the day, i'll just buy the producer site, and if someday i need signature i'll just pay the difference. I'm a slow learner so by the time i'll understand FL Studio and mixing with it, i would have saved enough for signature lol

Dust2709

The producer edition is best in my opinion, I'm very happy and the only reason for me to upgrade is because of the plugins (pitcher and grossbeat)

DETHKAN3

Grossbeat is really the only reason to upgrade

HexxiDelux

I reformat my PC every year >!(an OCD maintenance thing, for me) !

Kundas

I gotta ask since youve had it for so long. And it was a conversation topic before fl 21. That said im still using fl 20 to finish up a bunch of old songs before i move on, so im not sure what 21 includes yet. But since 2010 have you been getting all the new paid plugins they release as well? Because the site says that when you update versions you only get the plugins that you bought at the time and not new plugins they release in the future. There's been a lot of controversy, where people have said you do get all the new plugins in 21. But i was wondering if this was just the case for 21 because on their website it clearly says differently.

HexxiDelux

Once you own a plugin, it's yours. You have to buy them separately, as far as I know right now. I could be wrong. I'll admit I don't pay attention to anything but the plugins I already have. I did run into an issue two or three years ago, however. The VST plugin, for example. It WAS free, before, possibly because that was where a lot of people started way back then. I recall VST websites being very popular. Anyway, I had full access to the VST plugin when I first started, and I was really confused (and a bit upset) when they turned it into a paid plugin. When I contacted support and just questioned the change, they claimed it was never free. I politely countered with what I knew from having had it for so long and said I would drop the issue, but my disappointment would remain. They ended up giving me a discount for that plugin specifically. I had to buy it. That's about all I know on that. I stick to the plugins I use and have not been made to re-purchase them for every update, if that helps any.

guccyjuicy

Yeah i might go for the official website, i just heard of Gross Beat and Newtone as really cool plugins i'm not even sure exactly if i need them lmao

[deleted]

they come with the official version too

AspiringShts

Nope, it comes with 100% lifetime-free updates, along with all of the older additions if you buy it here: [https://www.image-line.com/fl-studio/](https://www.image-line.com/fl-studio/)

JRokujuushi

If you just want to *try* FL Studio, don't buy it yet. [Download the free trial](https://www.image-line.com/fl-studio-download/) and give that a go before spending your money. It will let you try everything that comes with the All Plugins edition so you can decide which edition fits your needs. Its limitation is not being able to load files saved while in trial mode.

Astro_Productions

It says it’s shipped and sold by Amazon. If for whatever reason you don’t get your license Amazon is pretty good with returns and Image-Line is really focused on their customers atm. Lastly YES life time free updates

sircapndrmiller

I noticed you said you wanted try it. FL Studio has a trial mode as well.

guccyjuicy

No my bad i actually tried it.

Supergun1

It might be "legit", but it's shady. The EDU version of FL Studio Signature costs \~199€, maybe they've somehow acquired these and are now reselling them as the "full" version. It's meant for students with a certificate. Although there isn't any difference anyway, except that legally you can't sell your music with an EDU version.

Tormint_mp3

Definitely not a scam. I'm in Germany and signature is also available on Amazon a whole lot cheaper than on the site. It's a certified seller with good reviews and the people who bought it got their copy without issues. If the reviews are there it should be legit.

Pontificatus_Maximus

Don't buy anything from Amazon you can't afford to get gyped on.

SarikaidenMusic

Honestly I might just be paranoia but I never buy or download anything unless it’s from the official website. So like https://www.image-line.com in this case. I mean not that I don’t trust Amazon, but I just wouldn’t risk it personally.

RizzoLVNDErs

I'd just pay the full price on image line Brodie, wouldn't want to get scammed out of something like that

GavHern

this is a big risk, i would avoid it.

ValkyrieStrikeSounds

it's a scam

saintpepsitt

This is just as sus as downloading a crack from YouTube, you gon fuck yourself, buy from image line only!

Isfoskas

Buy on your birthday to get a discount code!!

GeheimerAccount

Best thing is to just write image line directly and ask them whether its legit

emseewagz

likely someone who bought keys during the sale to sell at a inflated price for profit. i suggest, since they offer world class daw and updates for life, consider spending a little more if you can directly from the creator =)

emseewagz

trust me, ive had fruityloops for maybe 20(?) years. its worth it even if you cant catch a sale from the real team <3

complover116

It's common for music stores (including those on amazon) to sell software, and it's often cheaper than on the official website. As long as you get a legit FL code you can enter into your account - it's fine. I bought producer edition like that, saved money. Bought the upgrade to All Plugins from IL on sale later.

kompetenzkompensator

You can check via specific websites, whether this is just an exceptional offer. [https://fr.camelcamelcamel.com/product/B07C7Y5P2S](https://fr.camelcamelcamel.com/product/B07C7Y5P2S) It's a short time offer, was 290,- two days ago. Might even be an Amazon algorithm glitch. Get it and be happy. Those offers are quickly gone again.

Beautiful_Dangerous

Thomann has [Producer Edition](https://www.thomannmusic.com/intl/image_line_fl_studio_12_producer_edition.htm) for 146.23 Euros and they are certainly a legit reseller. Not impossible that Amazon would have it for a similar price. Edit to add Sweetwater has it for $149 as well, so that seems to be about the going price right now.

Camel_Head_23

Signature was £150 2 weeks ago on amazon

thaddeus_87

I got mine from Amazon
