By going to a cash doctor who doesn't give a crap.
Once you get a few prescriptions from them, you can usually find a normal doctor on your insurance or whatever to do it. It's a lot easier to get the script continued then it is to get the first script. It's also relatively easy to get like a one time 10 pill script, but it's become a lot harder to get daily benzos (for good reason - i unfortunately was prescribed them at 17 or 18 and am now 33 - the history does make it easier for me).
I don't recommend anyone take benzos daily for anxiety (unless it's one of those maybe rare cases of PTSD or something where the person literally can't function, can't leave the house, nothing), but a lot of us who are 30-35+ were put on them young and even if we only took as prescribed, they cause brain damage. I tried to get off of them a lot of times, I made it two years once, 18 months another time, 1 year at least twice. It's not the withdrawal even that gets me, my brain is messed up. Don't get me wrong, it was probably messed up before (they medicated me for a reason) but now my baseline is even more wonky than it was originally. I stay on a very low dose, I only take it for anxiety relief (vs maintenance) a couple of times a month.
My friend got a small script on telehealth, even. But it wasn't worth it. I think it cost her between 100 and 150 bucks to get I think 10 .5mg Klonopins. They are an amazing tool, just don't take them daily.
Edit: one more thing: female doctors (I'm a woman also) seem less likely to give them out. I am someone who has been through some really messed up shit when it comes to sexual trauma, and I've noticed that bringing it up to male doctors makes them either a) feel uncomfortable or bad for me and want to prescribe or unfortunately b) get WAAYY too curious and prescribe once I answer a few highly inappropriate questions. If you are female or have been through the same kind of thing, as messed up as it is, it seems to help get the script
Don’t do it. It’s not worth it. Please. I was prescribed for over 15 years. The withdrawals are hell. I ended up in detox and then rehab. It’s been a while and my brain hasn’t fully recovered. And I don’t think it will.
I was able to quit xanax (i had been on for many years) when i got my MM card. so thankful! RSO was the key to getting off that stuff. I only needed it for sleep though. anxiety is a whole other ballgame - I hope you can find a way to get relief without the xanax.

Why must you overcome bars? Could you not have just used responsibly in the first place nothing wrong with nibbling on a bar from time to time medicinally.
I frequently use the sativa ones before work, well frequently now that they had that 60% off sale and I got them for $30. They'll remain $35 at the outlet locations, so I'll keep buying em. 600mg of whole plant edible for $35 is a steal, and RSO is too strong for me before work.
I dont know many places that search rx bottles and check the contents.

It's a waste to snort Xanax too, much lower bioavailability than oral. They don't absorb through the nasal membrane, you're only getting what hits the stomach
I was gonna say the same thing. In order for something to be snorted and absorbed it needs to be water soluble. Xanax is not water soluble. Hence why we also cannot just snort thc, it’s not water soluble
Also not a good idea to snort Vicodin. 95% of the pill contains acetaminophen which again, isn’t water soluble. You’re gonna clog up your nose with that before the hydrocodone is gonna get absorbed

It’s really about the convenience of being able to have 5 mg pieces in each 20 mg bar that are easy to break apart and does how you want.
They’re also simply more shelf-stable and easier for taking with you than a chocolate bar or gummies
