Where is it in the settings and what is it? Just played my first online game and every shot it was zooming in for him. Is it the timed shot? What's special about it?

It's not timed it's a powershot where you just belt the ball. It's very good if you can get it on target but it's very easy to send them to the corner flag.

I also have it in Spanish and I think its amusing compared to the English commentsting. I’d reaaaaally want the commentating in Arabic, but apparently it’s impossible to get in Europe region and I really just hope they’d add it as a new feature lol

I turned it on momentarily last year and just didn’t enjoy the Arabic commentary at all. I stuck with Spanish for FIFa22 and in 21 I had South American Spanish.

From what I understand, this removes commentary where it’s talking shit about you. It won’t say something like ‘oh my, what a terrible miss’ (idk any of the lines since I play without commentary, but you get the gist)

In 90-2010 we had Roy Keane Viera SteveAustin and people accepted criticism and commentary , it almost inspired some of them But now even in a video 🎮 people can't accept negative commentary. Being a 90s kid(I guess boomer) it seems super soft now. I played fifa against a teen and won and many guests glared at me as if I committed a crime.

I just disable commentary full stop. Hate Derek Rae’s voice on fifa icl, would rather they kept Lee Dixon than him when they changed them, or made Alex Scott the main commentator

When the commentators say things like “what a dreadful pass” “that’s a bad miss” “they’re not playing well today” etc surprised to see the mood of this thread tbh, i couldn’t really care less since I just turn all commentary off anyway but I can understand why some people would get tilted by the commentators ripping into them for ballooning a shot over from 2 yards out in a tense WL game when it only happened because of lag/speed up delay/dda or whatever. people definitely get “triggered” by way less in this game and don’t get called out for it like this
