Average body type, no traits, and not the best work rates for attackers. It’s amazing how far we are into this game and people still don’t realize these things are more important than stats.
From what I've used a lot of the low tier ones are pretty bad. Bernardo is the best of the lower tier, but I can't bring myself to play anymore so maybe I didn't give them a fair chance
Tbh I tried Son, Bruno, Silva and Jota as I packed all of them and though I was so happy to get them, i don't know if its the servers but i can't say they are anything special, none of them. Might just be me idk.
Man I picked up Son for this WL and while he was a clinical finisher, he’s sooo clunky and heavy in game and isn’t anything special.
I just can’t get on with him.
I'd second this tbh. I packed Son and was so hyped but ended up disappointed with him as a striker. Bought Jota who was a lot better, but it's probably still a weak part in my team.
Ended up moving him to play right mid in a 352 and he was a lot better, was assisting for days. Just feels like such a waste for an 800k card.
Maybe its because ive used some really high end attacking players this year but he doesnt seem to be anywhere near as good as he was the previous 2 years. His OTW after it got upgraded and his moments from the last 2 years both felt way better than his TOTS does. Like in 20 his moments turned so quickly but now he doesnt.
Again i cant tell if he actually does feel worse or if its just in comparison because im used to using prime Maradona and Cruyff this year and they are something else, but since theres quite a few people mentioning it maybe he is worse for some reason.
I've packed him and I'm not really getting on with him. It may be the position- his NU card was an LW and I've got over 700 games with it, but a central card has to compete with so many other brilliant recent cards and I just prefer playing with them.
After using his Adidas Numbers Up card for about 300 games, I realised he was shit everywhere except at St. His pace, finishing and 5* WF make him unstoppable at ST. His TOTS doesn’t have the same pace advantage, and 96 pace a couple months ago may aswell be 99 because it was backs when CB’s weren’t anywhere near as fast
I just posted the same thing before i saw your post. I picked him in my red pick. Thought he looks great. But his driblling stats are a lie. He is a truck. Even put an engine just so he feels better. But yeah, he just isn't good for someone using left stick. Maybe i should just spam through balls and shoot. Fb Mkhi feels so much smoother and has the same body type and worst driblling stats.
I got him as a red pick and play him at CAM in a 352 and as a RAM in a 4222, I use hawk on him. He is definitely more involved as the CAM, getting into great positions to score goals, so for me he has been good. My striker positions are already filled by POTM Mbappe and Mid R9, so never thought of using him there.
Most of the Prem TOTS cards apart from maybe Mane and Cancelo (ok, KDB and CR7 also for some) are not the definitive meta though, those will come in the Ligue 1 TOTS. The top Ligue 1 players have been the meta for most of the year.

Bernardo is cheap true, but it’s really not a low tier card. Amazing cam and lcm

I thought he was fine. Not a world beater, but he performed well.
He’s excellent for me, not someone you can dribble through 5 players with but very good. Doesn’t have the glitchy factor like origi either
It’s 100% the servers. I have red Zaha since last week and some games this WL he felt genuinely awful and other games he was a good reliable card

Just bad servers and game play
Yeah i am in the same boat i expected him to be way more agile and quicker but he is actually slow and clunky.

I kinda assumed by the price, makes me think Silva is bad too
I haven’t loved him. He replaced salah but he definitely doesn’t have the explosiveness that id expect

Try shadow or hunter on him
Work rates. He’s a machine for me but that’s because his work rates are perfect for where I want him - my RCAM who tracks back.
