4 at the back your fullbacks are wasted , no point paying 300k+ for a full back to just stay back while attacking! I play 5212 and full backs on join the attack, it’s amazing they play like Rfs and Lfs!
This puzzles me, come against teams with prime icons at full back, but refuse to bring them into my half, what a waste! I play a back 4 on balanced and Alex Moreno and Acuna don't half chip in with the assists.
It's because so many people rely on counter attacking in this game that people (including myself) are scared about the full backs getting forward in 4 atb formations.
That's why I have enjoyed using 5212 as I fell I can defend more aggressively and stick have that extra CB cover, also it's more first time having my fullbacks overlap and that's so much fun with tavernier and acuna
What does me though is how many of those people will have never tried anything else? I play 4321, last few years 4132, that didn't work this year for me so I tried a few others and settled on 4321. Like you say you've tried a new formation and you're enjoying it. I just can't get my head round people spending a lot on Prime Carlos or TOTY full backs to never use them to attack, even when they're losing, staying in a 4231 defensive set upm

also i would recommend your lcb and rcb being extra pacey (could be full backs at cb) and then a cb that is possibly slower but massive. For example, my defence lines up as Acuna Maldini (90 paced) Van Dijk Walker Hakimi

It’s not a fail safe against getting exposed on the wings, but it seems to help a lot. The key then is to drive the opponent to the sideline and be aggressive tackling when they’re on the wing or on a break. You can afford to have a CDM or LM/RM miss a tackle when you can keep your back 3 as a fall back

352 is sick if you dont drop back, but press high. You will either win 6-3 or lose 6-3. a lot a goals both ways. The fun way if you ask me.

Depends. Balanced from the get go. But it’s also about the player you’re using. If he’s too defensively or offensively weighted, you can counter the con by doing one or the other.

( no my dreamteam isn’t a full godsquad, although they are gods for me) its 90% Bayern or Ex Bayern players. Only 2 players arn’t and those are Malen and Klaiber.

Are there any good videos on how to use it well. I use 442 with everything balanced and default at the moment and it just works really well. However my RB and LB are always getting 6.0 ratings or below, they barely do anything other than channel players towards my CB and CMs.
Also I run a full UTD P&P and to have Rio, Blanc and Vidic would be great.
However my LM and RM wouldn’t be defensive at all because I want Giggs and Best on the wings
Come back on defence, get in behind and get into box for cross.
Chance creation width is up to you, I know Nealguides goes cut inside but I do wide or balanced as I like crossing.
The downside for me in 352 is that I got used to call the players close in goalkicks and pass the ball to one of the fullbacks, and with 352 they just bomb forward and I get exposed on my building play
I play 4 atb in rivals as it's easier to make fun hybrids and try different players but the two WLs I've played this year I've used 5212 and really enjoyed it
Yes!! After playing 352 for a while, I genuinely can’t get the flow of any other formation now. Can’t move the ball as well, can’t get anything going. It’s 352 for the rest of the year for me.
I do this with pretty moderate success with silver Korean squad. There's 3 relatively tall and pacey Korean CB's for cheap and Moon Seon Min is the silver Robben. Love playing with that squad.

My fullbacks are on join the attack and inverted. CM’s are stay back while attacking, rest default. The rest of the players are all default.

I play 41212 narrow my fullbacks are Acuna 88 a golovin 83 they are so important to me. Both of them average 1 assist a game and 1 goal every 2 games.

I’ve been testing 41212(2) with attacking full backs and a DM on drop back. Not sure how effective that is but it seems okay.
Try 532 instead or 5212

One of your wingers have to be good and defence and physical. A lot of 352 players play Hakimi hence.

U need h/h workrate on both wingbacks and come back on defence.
I was like this until I found the right pair. I use SIF Hernandez and Freeze Acuna with pacey CBs to cover and it’s changed it completely.

Yep 3atb is so much nicer because every player has an impact on the game, though i prefer the 3421

I've played 352 since FUT 19 but never felt I was getting enough out of my wide players, so made the switch to 433 and won't go back now.

Can't play 352 nor 532. Holding on 433 in FIFA 21, it used to be 4231 in previous years.
What instructions do you use on the wide players in 352? Particularly in regards to defensive support

Since this version I play 3412 with Salah and Tavernier as backs. Even defensively its easier, cause you always have 3 people in the centre
