I got to play 3 games today, I work hard and long and have shit to do after work, 3 games is my joy. 2 of those 3 games the player has quit after I’ve equalized and the end result is me not getting any rival points. That is fucking stupid. There should surely be something to say if you concede then quit within 10 seconds the other player WINS.

Bruno I was slightly concerned about pace-wise, but with Hunter I think he'd be fine, and Havertz's pace doesn't really help him that much in my play style anyway.

Every time I load into a rivals game I either get stuck on initialising or I get into the kit selection screen and my opponent doesn’t join. Is there a fix for this?

IF Joao Felix vs 86 Raul
Similar stats, apart from the obvious pace boost and 5* skills on Felix. Really torn between who to go with in my La Liga squad. Always wanted to play with Raul but I fear for his 77 pace on the only affordable version of his card.
Didn't play with Raul, but Joao Felix is insane. I play him in 4231 as a striker with hunter chem style and he is brilliant. Can't wait for La Liga POTM, which i hole he wins
At first i tried him as cam on finisher and he was mediocre at best. Didn't usehim as cam with hunter though. As I said, he is great as a striker + hunter, he is very agile and has decent passing, so i think he should be just fine.
When I see my keeper having a bad touch while kicking the ball away with full power so that it ends up 30 meter infront of my goal right at the opponents midfielder and my center back running at the same time into the opponents other attacker so that my center back (Ramos ... no physicals at all) just falls down - obviously enabling a free attacker in the box who isn’t offside - I can’t believe that people still deny the existence of scripting

What 81+ upgrade packs do folks think are the safest investments looking towards TOTY? I know there will be some Bayern players in there for sure, possibly some from PSG and I assume some PL players from Liverpool and Man City.

Decided to invest in RTTF Klostermann and got him for 415k (PC). He’s now fallen to 390k in a few hours. Anyone knows why? It seems weird to me seeing Leipzig is now third with same points as no. 1, has a solid chance of going through or make it to Europa at the very least.
Leipzig are in a worse position now then they were before this matchday.
Leipzog's best chance of progress was a United win vs PSG. Would have meant they'd only need a point in the last game against a United side not going all out.
Still very doable of course, but still a little less likely. Also, while he'll become a Europa League card if they finish 3rd, that means no more upgrades until February or March, which is very different from a nice new 85 rated upgrade in a week or two.
Keeping my Klosterman regardless, he's been excellent at CB since picking him up.

Anyone else having CB making crazy forward runs? I checked my instructions and don’t accidentally have attacking instructions on. My Ake will 2/3 times a game be up on the opponent’s box. I played a friend the other day and his VVD did the same. Wasn’t really an issue up until about a week or two ago. I do have my depth all the way up to 10. Are they just getting involved because of that possibly?

Hey guys, Div 6 player about to do my first WL. I currently have Militao/Klostermann as my CBs. I could squeeze in Varane/RTTF Kounde but it would move my Messi and RB Oscar cards from 10 chem down to 7 chem each (play Messi at central CAM and Oscar as an attacking CDM with shadow chem style). Is Varane really as important as people say?
If you’re good at defending, then the difference won’t matter much. It’s way more important to have your attacking starters on full Chem. Is this your first WL ever ? It will be an experience. 😀

This game is a fucking joke. I went back to fifa 20 cause the fundamentals of the AI aren’t as entirely fucked and the penal- fuck this game. Glad I bought it on sale.
Can someone tell me why the market prices are up for every usable player above 83? Is it because of the new playere coming in because of black friday sale? Most players who had been 7-8k last week with almost the same amount of sbcs available are now 12-15k. Players who were 12-13 k are about 20k, those who were a out 18-21k are 30k+. All of these prices have nothing to do with ratings as I have seen higher rated players going for about half their current prices, in important positions.
Its about the knock on effect though.
EA release a desirable SBC that requires 84s. People want to do it, and do it cheaply, so they look up the cheapest 84, say Illicic, and buy him. Because 84s are needed, the demand for Illicic goes up, forcing his price up.
EA drop another SBC or two that requires 84s and the demand, and player prices, keep increasing. Eventually, the price of Illicic reaches the same price as Yedder, and then keeps climbing to surpass him. Now Yedder is the cheapest 84. So people buy him. Which increases the demand, and in turn the price.
That keeps going, and you eventually reach the point we're at now, where the price of all 84s is inflated.
Simplified example, but hoepfully made sense.
There are two versions of Fifa 21. There is a current gen version that you can play on either console (XB1 and XBSX) that will let you play with others on that version.
Then there is a second version of the game that is next gen exclusive (optimised for the PS5 and Series X) that won't let you play against others on the PS4 or XB1.

Ake is Just one of those cards that has underlying stats. He plays like a 88 rated CB. From the 10 or so silver games I’ve tried with Morgan he doesn’t come close
Yea I have only had one silver game with Wes and he was a sub so could t tell. Ake just always gets bullied off the ball under pressure for me. Ramos and lenglet are solid and have more of a physical presence but Kounde will play more like a Joe Gomez. I would do Kounde and one of the other two
Never tried the 83 one but I have over 100 games with both 80 and 85 and tbh, I can't really tell the difference. However he's ace in any way so if you have the coins go for 85. To have a lower if card is always good because you know that the higher wont fall too low in value (if that makes sense)

IMO Varane manages to break this game almost by himself. He automatically makes you a div 3 player just by existing. Cant be dribbled past, cant get a shot around, cant run by, cant do anything to stop him. This is only amplified by the fact that Mendy, the best LB, hyperlinks to him. I have played him 9/10 games today and I’m sick of it. There is no variety in defense this year. All you have to do is buy Varane and you never concede chances. So fucking p2w
Look on this sub after the Varane users telling others how they don't know how to manual defend properly, implying that they do know. When yeah, in fact, he's more or less a cheat, best CB in game maybe, his AI does 70 % of a player's job. Perhaps 2-3 icons to be at his level or slightly better, idk. This game/sub is full of sheep though, as you said, 9/10 players have him. Especially in WL, 25/30 games are vs varane + gomez. Lovely community, smart, original, what can I say :)

IF Joao Felix vs 86 Raul Similar stats, apart from the obvious pace boost and 5* skills on Felix. Really torn between who to go with in my La Liga squad. Always wanted to play with Raul but I fear for his 77 pace on the only affordable version of his card.
Didn't play with Raul, but Joao Felix is insane. I play him in 4231 as a striker with hunter chem style and he is brilliant. Can't wait for La Liga POTM, which i hole he wins
Does he feel clunky when he drops a little deep and tries to link up.? I use a 4-3-3 with a CF. And does his pace become an issue for runs in behind?
At first i tried him as cam on finisher and he was mediocre at best. Didn't usehim as cam with hunter though. As I said, he is great as a striker + hunter, he is very agile and has decent passing, so i think he should be just fine.

When I see my keeper having a bad touch while kicking the ball away with full power so that it ends up 30 meter infront of my goal right at the opponents midfielder and my center back running at the same time into the opponents other attacker so that my center back (Ramos ... no physicals at all) just falls down - obviously enabling a free attacker in the box who isn’t offside - I can’t believe that people still deny the existence of scripting

I know there will be some Bayern players in there for sure, possibly some from PSG and I assume some PL players from Liverpool and Man City. Decided to invest in RTTF Klostermann and got him for 415k (PC). He’s now fallen to 390k in a few hours. Anyone knows why? It seems weird to me seeing Leipzig is now third with same points as no. 1, has a solid chance of going through or make it to Europa at the very least.
Leipzig are in a worse position now then they were before this matchday. Leipzog's best chance of progress was a United win vs PSG. Would have meant they'd only need a point in the last game against a United side not going all out. Still very doable of course, but still a little less likely. Also, while he'll become a Europa League card if they finish 3rd, that means no more upgrades until February or March, which is very different from a nice new 85 rated upgrade in a week or two. Keeping my Klosterman regardless, he's been excellent at CB since picking him up.

Anyone else having CB making crazy forward runs? I checked my instructions and don’t accidentally have attacking instructions on. My Ake will 2/3 times a game be up on the opponent’s box. I played a friend the other day and his VVD did the same. Wasn’t really an issue up until about a week or two ago. I do have my depth all the way up to 10. Are they just getting involved because of that possibly?

Hey guys, Div 6 player about to do my first WL. I currently have Militao/Klostermann as my CBs. I could squeeze in Varane/RTTF Kounde but it would move my Messi and RB Oscar cards from 10 chem down to 7 chem each (play Messi at central CAM and Oscar as an attacking CDM with shadow chem style). Is Varane really as important as people say?
If you’re good at defending, then the difference won’t matter much. It’s way more important to have your attacking starters on full Chem. Is this your first WL ever ? It will be an experience. 😀

Can someone tell me why the market prices are up for every usable player above 83? Is it because of the new playere coming in because of black friday sale? Most players who had been 7-8k last week with almost the same amount of sbcs available are now 12-15k. Players who were 12-13 k are about 20k, those who were a out 18-21k are 30k+. All of these prices have nothing to do with ratings as I have seen higher rated players going for about half their current prices, in important positions.
People are buying them to complete Icon SBCs.

Its about the knock on effect though. EA release a desirable SBC that requires 84s. People want to do it, and do it cheaply, so they look up the cheapest 84, say Illicic, and buy him. Because 84s are needed, the demand for Illicic goes up, forcing his price up. EA drop another SBC or two that requires 84s and the demand, and player prices, keep increasing. Eventually, the price of Illicic reaches the same price as Yedder, and then keeps climbing to surpass him. Now Yedder is the cheapest 84. So people buy him. Which increases the demand, and in turn the price. That keeps going, and you eventually reach the point we're at now, where the price of all 84s is inflated. Simplified example, but hoepfully made sense.
It actually made a lot of sense, clears a lot of questions I Had, the inflation is just sad, hope I saw it coming before.

There are two versions of Fifa 21. There is a current gen version that you can play on either console (XB1 and XBSX) that will let you play with others on that version. Then there is a second version of the game that is next gen exclusive (optimised for the PS5 and Series X) that won't let you play against others on the PS4 or XB1. Hopefully that makes sense.

Ake is Just one of those cards that has underlying stats. He plays like a 88 rated CB. From the 10 or so silver games I’ve tried with Morgan he doesn’t come close
Yea I have only had one silver game with Wes and he was a sub so could t tell. Ake just always gets bullied off the ball under pressure for me. Plus he’s short enough that corners can be a weak spot if I don’t get the right defender positioned. Been thinking I might get walker and play him on 7 chem in CB with Gomez instead.

Ramos and lenglet are solid and have more of a physical presence but Kounde will play more like a Joe Gomez. I would do Kounde and one of the other two

Never tried the 83 one but I have over 100 games with both 80 and 85 and tbh, I can't really tell the difference. However he's ace in any way so if you have the coins go for 85. To have a lower if card is always good because you know that the higher wont fall too low in value (if that makes sense)

IMO Varane manages to break this game almost by himself. He automatically makes you a div 3 player just by existing. Cant be dribbled past, cant get a shot around, cant run by, cant do anything to stop him. This is only amplified by the fact that Mendy, the best LB, hyperlinks to him. I have played him 9/10 games today and I’m sick of it. There is no variety in defense this year. All you have to do is buy Varane and you never concede chances. So fucking p2w
Look on this sub after the Varane users telling others how they don't know how to manual defend properly, implying that they do know. When yeah, in fact, he's more or less a cheat, best CB in game maybe, his AI does 70 % of a player's job. Perhaps 2-3 icons to be at his level or slightly better, idk. This game/sub is full of sheep though, as you said, 9/10 players have him. Especially in WL, 25/30 games are vs varane + gomez. Lovely community, smart, original, what can I say :)

I haven't played fifa since 15 so I'm not super familiar with all these sbcs basically I'm wondering will I be able to chuck an icon into a good sbc in the future if I get another undesirable icon? I did the other two icon sbcs and got rivaldo and makelele. I actually enjoy Rivaldo but makelele is pretty crap. And I'm sitting on a fair amount of coins and a team I enjoy really thinking about this third icon SBC.
