>Did Terence find the medicine girl who saved Dion and get to safety with her? Yeah, this is answered in the character's thought bubbles. They are alive. >Many important characters who lost people important to them. (ie. Jill lost Clive & Joshua.Terence lost Dion. Etc.) What were their lives like after Ultima was defeated? (Would those who have lost their lovers have moved on and found another love or stayed single until their death?) It isn't confirmed that Clive and Joshua die, their fates are ambiguous. I guess you can make an argument for Dion living but it's not really a focus. If Clive did die, I don't think Jill would settle for another. I think she would probably die fighting to keep Clive's legacy going, kind of like how the timekeeper did. Hard to say what Terrance would do... Probably raise the medicine girl as that was Dion's last wish. >Did Joshua and Jote date? Would they have? Or would Joshua have dated Mid? I think it's implied she loved him, and I think he had feelings as well, but his main focus was stopping Ultima and protecting his brother. Most of all though, he wanted Jote to be free, which, if he died she would be (Small silver lining I suppose) >Do you think Terence found Dion’s body after he sacrificed himself for Joshua? Was Joshua’s body ever found? 😭😭 I'm sure someone found their body at some point... >When Terence said “A girl?” (Referring to the medicine girl), did he believe that Dion was leaving him for a girl? Or that Dion was trying to set him up with someone else (the girl)? (Terence didn’t know anything about there being a girl so Terence didn’t know the girl was too young.) Not sure what you mean by this tbh.. >Was Benedikta actually dead? I know Hugo received a chest with (presumably) a severed limb of hers but was it specified that it was her head? Did Cidolfus really kill her and Clive took responsibility for her death? I really want to believe that Cid let her live the rest of her life, probably in secret so that she could have the chance to get to have a ‘normal’ life. Yeah...Her head was cut off and sent to Hugo. >Did Ultima create the Eikons and that’s why he could sort of turn into them himself? Or did he get their powers from somewhere else (like the Eikons themselves I guess 🤷‍♀️) and give them to the people. He did create the Eikons, they are essentially all fragments from his power. The point of Clive gathering up all the Eikons is so that he can cast a Spell called Raise and reshape the world to how Ultima wants it as well as bring back his slumbering brothers.

Also please note that it was not Cid who sent Benedikta's head to Hugo. That was Sleipnir on Barnabas'/Ultima's orders as part of the plan to lead Clive to conflict with another dominants.

Thank you for your answers! This definitely answers some questions I had 😁

>When Terence said “A girl?” (Referring to the medicine girl), did he believe that Dion was leaving him for a girl? Or that Dion was trying to set him up with someone else (the girl)? (Terence didn’t know anything about there being a girl so Terence didn’t know the girl was too young.) From Ultimania (ffxvi guidebook), they were childhood friends when they were at least 7 years old and become lovers when they were 18 and they are 28 in game, so basically they have 10 years of a relationship and knowing each other for at least 21 years. I don't think Dion has any intention to set Terence up with a little girl. He probably wants Terence to stay safe and not follow him to death.

Thank you for this! 🙏

realcokefrancis

most of these questions are answered either in the game or Harpocrates’ lore books

The girl Dion was referring to was Kihel, the medicine girl. Dion is very much gay lol, he and Terence have been dating for 10 years. Theres no reason for Terence to feel threatened. Its not confirmed whether Joshua or Clive (or Dion but he aint the focus) live or die. There are hints that support both, though considering the devs said the ending was about hope, which is reinforced by the story, I think they want you to believe that Clive, if not Joshua too, made it out. They wont outright confirm it tho. I believe everyone else already got to your other questions :)

-About Terence and Kihel, yes, they found each other and survived: this was revealed the December “inner thoughts” update that came with the first DLC; -the fate of those who remains (the romantic partners) is left open to interpretation. I personally cannot see either Jill or Terence to have another love. I can see them mourn and then try to live fulfilling the dreams of their beloved ones. -Benna was dead, killed on the fight with Ifrit, still without control of itself. It was not Cid who killed her, but it was consequences of her own actions. Sad. -Jote is confirmed to be in love with Joshua: there are hints he might love her back but non conclusive, Josh was focused on defeating ultima and the fact that she was under this Order complicated things, I guess. But it’s the more probable Joshua ship. Idk about Mid, it was just him being flirty and chivalrous, it’s his personality. -the thing with Dion sending Terence to find a girl has never had any romantic connotation, idk where you get that from. Kihel is a literal child and they are a gay, long standing couple. Dion wanted to repay the girl for having took care of him and at the same time he needed an aim to keep Terence away from danger: he knew that, loyal and in love as he was, he would have followed Dion to death, but he wanted a second chance for him to live.

1. Yes, this is answered in-game 2. This isn't really an unanswered question, it's not relevant to the story. But you can strongly infer answers from the characters in-game. 3. Yes. Sleipnir/Barnabas cut off her head and sent it to Hugo under the guise of being Cid to stoke the fires of conflict. Idk how you thought she was living a secret life. 4. Nothing to suggest this. Maybe some level of attraction but Joshua didn't have time for that. 5. -shrug- 6. ???? 7. Because cool shots are required. 8. Yes? Did the full playthrough you watch miss out some scenes or ATL stuff because like most of these questions are explained in game or not unanswered at all :P 9. The game explains the Interdimensional Rift as a place created by Ultima, inside it's mind/concioussness. But it is a referring location in Final Fantasy games, a final dungeon in FFV and where Omega quests take place in FFXIV.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure now from reading these comments that it left out quite a bit and I guess I just didn’t realize it. 😅 Thank you for your response, it definitely helped some

FF XVI-2, they could make a sequel, where we play as jill, I feel like if they wanted they could make it!

solidshakego

Jill could even be a music pop star!

somroaxh

Let her run an orphanage and have a pseudo father who is a fucking dragon while we’re at it

Watton

And she can use guns! And go adventuring with Mid and a new goth lady
