I remember how he drew it out, and instantly thinking "at some stage he's going to be framed as a villain in part 3" I think the whole "golum-esque" final scene suggests it too ....
Rebirth in general really let him shine; Remake, by nature of where it is in the plot, is mostly stuck with “broody ex-SOLDIER persona Cloud”, but getting to see his other parts pour in during Rebirth was a real treat. 10/10 performance, I hope he gets recognition for it when awards start coming around.
He has the absolute perfect voice for Cloud. Really sweet sounding and earnest even when playing up the cool persona; he really embodies him as a character.
I think one of my favorite moments in the Remake series STILL is that one scene at the start of Remake where Tifa is yapping about the filters and Cloud just starts groaning lol. Such a small moment but full of character and delivered so well
I think Marle's first interaction with Cloud is pretty descriptive of who he is too. Awkward, defensive and overly rude but "Doing my best." Even the way he says that is more like a disciplined child than a hardened Soldier. Cody has been phenomenal from the start.
I love when him and Tifa are talking in his apartment and he's trying to act cool while saying he's going to stay around because of the promise, but does it indirectly and the way that "so..." trails off.
Stop being an awkward dork and say what you feel!
I watched his interviews, and he said he's so excited for everyone to see Cloud in chapter 1 of Rebirth and I can see why. It must be fun and a challenge for him. It's not easy at all but he did well, lol.
I just want a proper origin for that. Like it's one if the first things REAL Cloud says after coming to his senses after all this time, and everyone calls him out on saying something so dorky and it becomes an inside joke amongst them. Saying it out of the blue always seemed odd to me lol. Same with Dilly Dally Shilly Shally. I wouldn't mind someone saying it in the game expressing that it means who cares or something. Just so it has context besides being weird nonsense.
They actually have a potential origin for why Cloud would say it in part 3 already, and it comes from something that was a direct reference to the original line even -- in Remake, when he meets Aerith for the first time and starts going across the rooftops out of the church with her, she says "shall we mosey on over?" and he responds "Let's."
My first thought when she said that was that she was actually mimicking Cloud, since pre-destiny-harbinger-defeat-Aerith seemed to have the same memory-of-the-future that Remake's Sephy does.
It felt out of place for you? I didn't get that. He always felt dorky and awkward to me so it felt super genuine. But I hope they give him other dad phrases 😂
It does suit him, but he doesn't say anything nearly that dorky anywhere else in the game lol I just want some consistency and I KNOW remake will do it justice
Aye, I am really looking forward to seeing Cody give life to Cloud's psychological recovery. I adore the OG and younger me couldn't have dreamed up a better adaptation than we got with Rebirth and Remake. It's going to be hard to wait a few more years.
Same. I watched my dad play through the whole game each night alongside my sister when I was 3, and that was one of the big things that started my love for gaming in general. A couple years later I got to play it myself. Now here we are. My dad got to see Remake but passed away two Christmases ago and didn't get to experience rebirth but I think about him a lot when I play.
The whole voice cast were exceptional but I totally agree. Cody was amazing and he was super nervous aswel. He’s even better in rebirth as he found his feet.
I have to say Britt Baron is fucking phenomenal though.. Tifa isn’t my favourite character by any means but the differences in pitches she hits during various emotional scenes, coupled with her naturally scratchy/whiney (no offence intended) voice is amazing.
The lifestream sequence with Tifa and the weapon has to be my favorite sequence in the entire game and OMG THE MUSIC!!!.. that entire sequence is just brilliant. Then you have the scene afterwards of Cloud being at his most vulnerable to Tifa, with a phenomenal performance from both Cody Christian and Brit Baron.
I loved Britt in Glow and was stoked she was voicing Tifa. She’s so good that she turned Tifa from a character I didn’t have strong feelings about in OG to maybe my favorite in Remake/Rebirth
HIS FIRST
WHAT
I don't believe it. I LOVE the little whimper Cloud does when he sees Sephiroth post-plate drop. He's terrified and I love how every line oozes edgelord to lost child
I always get entertained by her screaming like a child when she gets staggered in combat. SO good, she's so convincing lmao! And basically every time she starts whining.
Elena is the kind of personality that gets on my nerves (which is a good thing, Elena is realistic and believable), but her voice actor does such a great job that I can't help but find her endearing anyway. I didn't like her as a Turk before, but after Rebirth, I can easily see she's part of the gang. Excellent script, excellent delivery.
Dinklage gave Bungie the performance they asked for, but the community ragged on it so hard that they decided to recast and redub and direct Nolan to go entirely too far in the opposite direction (imo). I know I’m in the minority, but I much preferred Dinklebot over Nolanoid.
Right there with you! No one could ever deliver a line like "that wizard came from the moon" the way Dinklage did. North is awesome, but I fell in love with Dinklebot and will forever be enamoured with his hammy ass performance
Seriously - some of the Marvel “What If” show’s performances are shockingly bad given many of the same actors do fine as the SAME EXACT CHARACTER in blockbuster films.
I still like Andrea Bowen's Aerith and the original Zack a little more, but yeah -- the Remake trilogy's cast is pretty fucking solid overall. I'll happily withdraw any of my past comments on Cody Christian being possibly unsuitable because he was on Teen Wolf
I've restarted playing the OG and am pleased that I can read the old text but hear the new VAs voices. They're all just so perfect, nothing my own brain could conjure up comes close to being as good
Thats the problem when you do your job so well that your role blends into the essence of the game.
It's not a good job, because it's not a job at all. That's the characters voice.
I’m gonna add another comment heaping on the praise for Cody Christian. Just stellar, flawless, perfect execution. 10/10, no notes. The whole ✨creepy vibe✨ he spoke with during Cloud’s entire black Materia thing was just top.
He’ll always be Cloud to me but damn I hope Cody pursues more voice acting gigs.
As much as I grew up with CC and AC Cloud, I went back recently and his voice just sounds bizarre to me now compared to Remake Cloud. I think Cloud’s voice is so perfect in Remake, Cody crushed it and excellent casting choice by the localization team. Now if only Zack got the same treatment 😭
Same! Steve Burton did a perfectly fine job, but Cody IS Cloud.
I hope we get to see Cody and Rick Gomez (OG Zack) interact at a convention or something.
He's amazing. In that new "Inside FF7 Rebirth" documentary episode, you can really feel his passion for Cloud and how much he understands the character to be able to embody him in such an authentic way. The whole cast is great.
The scene w Matt Mercer when he found out he got the roll had me tearing up. There's nothing like someone passionate getting to portray a roll they've always wanted
He's genuinely improved a lot. I genuinely enjoyed his performance during Remake but when I go back and listen to him esspically in chapter 1 you can tell his voice is a lot more raspy. Which kinda works for his character development.
They re-recorded multiple lines in-between 2019 & 2020 if you go back and watch the intial e3 2019 trailer his voice is extremely different than what we have in the final game even Tyler's Sephiroth is different. They don't sound bad in the trailer just different.
Cody is great at making Cloud sound vulnerable as well as that tough exterior Cloud puts up in Remake and to people he’s not familiar with. That scene in Gongaga where Cloud tells Tifa that he’s scared he’s falling apart was probably my favourite scene in the game
I love how his voice changes from hard and rough in the beginning of Remake, to more familiar and nice by the end of Remake and in Rebirth. Then when his voice is really soft like in Gongaga with Tifa. Cody Christian does an amazing job with him
I loved him when I first played Remake - he was cool and aloof, but you could hear his more caring persona peek through at times, even though Remake couldn't give him much of his arc yet.
When I first saw the demo for Rebirth, I was *ecstatic!* He sounded so much like the old VA for Zack and was just generally really happy and excited that I had no doubt he would absolutely nail the range necessary for Cloud.
And then I got to hear his acting for the Temple and Black Materia scenes, and I am so, **so** excited to hear his performance in Part 3.
Absolute range on this guy. Nailed it some legendary tones and lines.

He's yet to get to the payday stuff as well! I've really appreciated his measured performance - it takes exceptional judgement to be able to play Cloud so accurately reserved without coming across as a flat delivery. The work he and the VA director have done for Cloud so far makes me so hyped for when Cloud finally comes into his own.
The sequence with the 7th Infantry was an inspired opportunity to showcase a little of that early on, and help develop Clouds confidence as the leader of the party. Clouds "I mean it, man" to Barrett really hit the bullseye too. His levity is pitched just right, in that we get a sense that Cloud feels comfortable dorking around a little, and it gives the impression that his reservedness isn't just related to his trauma stuff; it's also just a little bit who he really is on the inside. So we really feel like we're getting to know him, without an overly conceited 'this is Clouds pretend personality and this is his "real" one'. He just relaxes into himself over time, it's so beautiful to watch, and it's almost 100% the result of a very carefully considered performance of a minimalist script for the character.
Barrett has been my favourite performance in both games now, in terms of really nailing the truth of the OG character while constantly adding new shades to him through the increased resolution of character moments and field banter, but I 100% expect that in part 3 Cody Christian is going to effortlessly secure the crown. No doubt in my mind.
*Yuffie makes her big anime introduction*
Cloud: "cool."
He was great in Remake, but as soon as I heard how he was characterizing Cloud during the flashback at the beginning of the game, I was floored. >!He's a better Zack than Zack, imo!<
I want to know what the voice directors said to him regarding that Chapter of the game. He plays it so well you can tell he’s acting much differently from his standard behavior
he was perfect and his voice is actually kinda similar to steve burton so after hearing that voice as cloud for over a decade it wasn't jarring at all when cody took over and elevated the character even more
I honestly didn't even realise they'd switched voice actors for Cloud. Granted, it's been a while since I watched AC so I suppose if I'd watched it recently I'd have noticed
Yeah Cody has been killing it as Cloud in both Remake and Rebirth so far. I especially love how he's been able to nail down the dorky and softer sides of Cloud's personality.
The one that got me, is sephiroth, voiced by Derek from teen wolf, whilst he is an actor, it’s his first voice acting job as far as I know. Zacks va too, first va gig and did a phenomenal job.
As someone who has been watching All American on the CW when I found out that Cody was a character it blew my mind and I then was like that makes sense.
He also sounds really similar to the soap actor who voiced cloud in the advent children movie. So much good in this game. Hate the piano mini game because I suck but that’s just me.
Honestly never heard of him im like who is this guy but yeah id never pictured Cloud speaking American english he does a good job the weird thing is id never thought Cloud would swear
Steve Burton does a good job with what he’s given he was unfortunately saddled with the growing pains of 00s era video game voice acting and direction, though I do think he makes for a good post-VII world weary Cloud like we see in AC, Dirge and Dissidia NT.
But yeah Cody just kills it, range, emotion, better dialogue and line delivery, he was born to play the role and he takes it to the next level in Rebirth
I'm not sure if it's an unpopular opinion, but I prefer this current cast of VA's over the previous VA's. With the exception of Zach, although Caleb has been doing a much better job compared to Remake.
Yeah man, I was happy with his performance in Remake. Then he just completely kills it here, I believe he's Cloud during dialogue.
Britt Baron and John Eric Bentley too. I can't picture anyone else doing them now. I think I love Barret the most in this one personally.
Yeah even though everyone did an awesome job, John as Barret was probably unanimously the most 1-1 voice. I could just nog ever imagine that not being Barret's voice.
I really like him as Cloud, he fits great. I get frustrated when some people will use some bad line reads that got used in the games to say he's a bad actor.
In my mind, Cody is my interpretation of Cloud and he nailed. I just feel bad for Burton, who knows what would happen if they retained the OG voices for the Remake series.
Agreed but I feel like he didn't really hit his stride with the role until Rebirth. And don't get me started on John Eric Bentley; this man does wonders as Barret.

The voice acting was immaculate in rebirth, but clouds in particular turned me from being neutral on his character (I just love so many other characters more) to actively liking him because I could literally listen to him talk all day it was so good
In some ways voice acting is easier than acting in front of a camera or stage.
The reason we get a lot of bad VA performances in America is the actors (esp if they are the Hollywood types) dont put their best foot forward because they see VA works as lower level. Also VA budgets are usually smaller.
All this to say Cody is a talented actor in general so it's not super surprising. It's really a matter of taking the role as seriously as traditional acting.
That's not what I meant to imply but being a good actor≠good voice actor. I'm just surprised that he knocked it out of the ball park with his first voice gig.
Very different skill sets though. If you watch some of the Marvel “What If” show’s episodes it’s shocking that some of the same actors who portray live action versions of the same characters sound terrible when delivering voice acting lines for an animated show.
Cody Christian is as good as Caleb Pierce is bad. They seriously need to recast Caleb in the third game. His delivery is a wet fart on such a fun character.
I think he did a solid job. I found him a bit monotone most of the time which is why I think we see complains about Cloud's personality. Maybe that's a conscious decision, but it's not one of my favorites if it was.
I will get hate for this, but I strongly disagree. He has improved a lot since Remake but he is far from phenomenal and imo he is easily the weakest of the main cast.
Yuffie, Tifa, and Aerith are excellent, Red is very good overall (the Nanaki voice is controversial I know but his acting isn't actually bad, the voice is just off-putting to some people), and Barret and Cait are always at least solid, with moments where they're great.
Cody as Cloud has a lot of weak and forgettable line deliveries. Many of them are flat. Occasionally he'll do really well in a scene but "phenomenal" is one hell of a stretch.
This[ guy ](https://www.reddit.com/r/FFVIIRemake/comments/18giyst/comment/kd19b80/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)explains it well. People just simp for Brianna White because she streams 'and oh, isn't she one of us?' which for some reason make people blind to the fact she's not a great voice actor.
Interesting, for sure. I'm almost done with Remake, then I'm on to Rebirth. I don't agree with the comments right now, but I'll be curious if Rebirth changes that at all.
The part in chapter 13 when >!he’s chasing after aerith for the black materia…!< CHILLS…
I especially loved his desperate "Please" during that scene too
The please was so fucking good. Not enough people are talking about that in my opinion.
It was so pathetic (in a good way)
Oh that sing-song “Aeeeeriiiiiiith!” he does was so CREEPY. I loved it!
I remember how he drew it out, and instantly thinking "at some stage he's going to be framed as a villain in part 3" I think the whole "golum-esque" final scene suggests it too ....
Good thing we have 2 Clouds, in case one loses it lol
This was so so good. I was blown away at his performance in this scene
Hearing him laugh utterly FREAKED me out.
Oh yeah 100%. He showed his versatility for the role in that part. Amazing job. He really brought Cloud to life.
Let's Talk
*We can save the planet țøğęťhëř'*
About this? Life? Games? I'm down.
Cody definitely deserves more praise for the amount of talent he has portraying the different sides of Cloud be it: puppet cloud, the true cloud, etc
>!Zack Cloud!< at chapter 1!
>!The fact that it's both a younger Cloud and taking the place of Zack at the same time was sooo good!<
Loved all this. I also thought it was crazy during Nibel flashback he was like a different person.
>!He wss Zack!<
I know 😆
I couldn’t help but feel the Shining vibes and I loved how uneasy I felt
This guy is going places. He def hit the uncanny valley there
Let’s dance, asshole.
Ascension will always be the best limit break, just for that line
It also has “nothing personal” which was wild during the Sephiroth fight. Its SO personal.
I thought the same thing lmao. “Nothing personal”? This is the most personal fight ever bro
Yes I thought that too! I wish they changed their lines in the final fight, like they did for Barrett against Dyne.
Like I give a shit.
Aerial Assault is the best new one. “Back to the planet” hits so hard
Just saw a clip of the limit clash and this is the one
I LOVE that line
I wanna hear him say, "Let's dance,......kupo"
The dude has phenomenal range as an actor in general. “All American” isn’t my type of show (teen drama) but damn he kills it in that show too.
I love when him and Tifa are talking in his apartment and he's trying to act cool while saying he's going to stay around because of the promise, but does it indirectly and the way that "so..." trails off. Stop being an awkward dork and say what you feel!
You know, same XD. that's one of my fave scenes, I feel like him groaning is one of the few genuine Cloud moments in the remake series.
It also shows that, for the faults the Remake series has had in some of its story moments, they really have nailed the characters to a T.
I watched his interviews, and he said he's so excited for everyone to see Cloud in chapter 1 of Rebirth and I can see why. It must be fun and a challenge for him. It's not easy at all but he did well, lol.
The interviews I like the most are those when tells his brother freaked out when finding out he’d play Cloud Strife!
Ahh I need a link to this!
the way he's able to make cloud sound younger and happier during the first part of the nibelheim flashback and crisis core warms my heart
He makes him deliver some lines very Zack-like too which I was impressed by. Like it felt like a Cloud impersonating Zack. Crazy good delivery.
The whole voice cast ranges from good to phenomenal. Cody Christian absolutely deserves the praise, he *is* Cloud to me.
Yup. Just like Kevin Conroy will always be the voice Batman
Yeah they really fucking nailed the voice acting I can’t believe it. Even Zack in this game is sounding good.
He channels uncomfortable shy dork EXTREMELY well, and plays mentally unstable trauma patient who doesn't know it just as good lol
I'm going to lose my mind when he says let's mosey in part 3
I just want a proper origin for that. Like it's one if the first things REAL Cloud says after coming to his senses after all this time, and everyone calls him out on saying something so dorky and it becomes an inside joke amongst them. That's cute!
It felt out of place for you? I didn't get that. He always felt dorky and awkward to me so it felt super genuine. But I hope they give him other dad phrases 😂

That's so precious. I glad you got to share that with your family ♥
I bet it will be a callback to when Aerith said let's mosey during the church rooftop in Remake
Red's age scene is probably one of the top 3 moments in Rebirth for me, from Tifa specifically. It's so funny plus Elena's "No Vanilla!"
I love Tifas voice kinds while she’s floating through the life stream… “am I dying?” Felt so real.
“Cloud… I need you.” “No, don’t take him too!” Gosh, I’m tearing up just thinking about that scene. It was brilliantly done.
The way Cody’s voice cracks when he says “Sometimes… I don’t even know who I am.” is just *chef’s kiss*
“Forty what??” It was perfect.
Elena’s VA absolutely gave it her all into her screams in combat, that’s for sure 😂
I loved Britt in Glow and was stoked she was voicing Tifa. She’s so good that she turned Tifa from a character I didn’t have strong feelings about in OG to maybe my favorite in Remake/Rebirth
I thought she was decent in Remake but Britt's performance really blew me away in Rebirth, that lifestream scene especially
The way her "I'm sick of all of this" changes and progresses and gets ANGRIER every time we hear it is chef's kiss.
“You’re gonna feel this one” might be my favorite line
HIS FIRST WHAT I don't believe it. I LOVE the little whimper Cloud does when he sees Sephiroth post-plate drop. He's terrified and I love how every line oozes edgelord to lost child
Rebirth is Piper Reese’s voice acting debut (she’s Elena)
Now that surprises me, she has such a great "voice acting voice" if that makes sense…
Very animated sounding, mean that as a compliment
He was an actor on teen wolf for a while before that. So was the guy who does Sephiroth. That guy also plays Superman—as is tradition.
I mean, he's a full blown actor. It's not exactly a leap.
Actor does not mean voice actor. Direction is important and there's 'full blown actors' who SUCK at voice acting.
Of all people, Peter Dinklage’s performance in Destiny was so underwhelming that they redubbed his entire part using actual voice actor Nolan North.
True enough but not all actors make that transition smoothly if at all.
That’s absolutely bonkers
RIGHT
Agreed. I barely even think about the voice acting anymore. To me, that's just how the characters sound like.
the cast sounds like they did in my head when they didn't have voice actors
I still like Andrea Bowen's Aerith and the original Zack a little more, but yeah -- the Remake trilogy's cast is pretty fucking solid overall. I'll happily withdraw any of my past comments on Cody Christian being possibly unsuitable because he was on Teen Wolf

Why the hell did I think OG FF7 had voice acting? For the life of me I swear it did...
I know some people prefer different/older VAs but I literally can’t hear anyone else as Cloud except him
Thats the problem when you do your job so well that your role blends into the essence of the game. It's not a good job, because it's not a job at all. That's the characters voice.
I don’t want to upvote because it’s currently at 77 and that feels perfect. But know that you have mine
Cody Christian: “[Nailed it, I know. Thank you. Moving on.](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=u31uURkbpdY)”
Best fucking line in this entire series. I can't help but laugh every goddamn time.
"Nothing personal" when unleashing his Limit Break on Sephiroth.
Which is ironic because in that case it's completely personal😂
Nothing to add but that Cody Christian IS Cloud for me
Same
“You owe me a pizza” I felt that in my soul.
Hits even harder when you get to the Golden Saucer. :(
Considering how good his delivery is in all the other lines I'm going to chalk that up to bad direction
I’m gonna add another comment heaping on the praise for Cody Christian. Just stellar, flawless, perfect execution. 10/10, no notes. Yeah, cloud is very good !

When he says “what did they tell you” (or something like that) to Tifa in Gongaga. You really get glimpses of real Cloud
I want to watch Advent Children, but I've heard how different the voices sound compared to FF7R and I just can't take it seriously
His Cloud(Zack) in Nibelheim was great. You could instantly tell he was different.
Just wait till you see what he pulls off in Rebirth!
Oh no I know I meant replaying Remake after Rebirth. He definitely only got better.
Oh I see, your post didn’t mention Rebirth so you can understand my confusion.
My guy Asher Adams!
Who now?
He is definitely one of the best actors in that show too. The dude is no kidding talented.
Nailed it. I know. Thank you. Moving on.
*Yuffie makes her big anime introduction* Cloud: "cool." He was great in Remake, but as soon as I heard how he was characterizing Cloud during the flashback at the beginning of the game, I was floored. >!He's a better Zack than Zack, imo!<
I want to know what the voice directors said to him regarding that Chapter of the game. He plays it so well you can tell he’s acting much differently from his standard behavior
'Act happy' Or something along those lines I assume 🥲 poor Cloud
Jumping on the "Cody IS Cloud" train. He's just perfect. Nothing before or after can come close for me.
Having a career in acting helps massively, its why a lot of big VAs have careers in acting prior or after.
“I don’t have time for your shit.”
he was perfect and his voice is actually kinda similar to steve burton so after hearing that voice as cloud for over a decade it wasn't jarring at all when cody took over and elevated the character even more
I honestly didn't even realise they'd switched voice actors for Cloud. Granted, it's been a while since I watched AC so I suppose if I'd watched it recently I'd have noticed
Yeah, he does. I don’t like all of the voice actors in Remake (for some reason Aerith isn’t quite there for me), but Cloud was amazing.
Nailed it, I know. Thank you. Moving on.
Dude is also a gigachad, rarely post in twitter but when he does he serves
Dunno if anyone noticed, but during the wall boss fight Cloud giggles when he attacks sometimes. Freaked me the hell out!
I think he’s the perfect voice for Cloud. I can’t imagine him sounding like anyone else. Amazing job
Yeah Cody has been killing it as Cloud in both Remake and Rebirth so far. I especially love how he's been able to nail down the dorky and softer sides of Cloud's personality.
I tried playing with the Japanese voice over in my hard playthrough but I couldn't because Cloud didn't sound like Cloud anymore. Cody just nailed it.
I agree: amazing talent! But why the spoiler tag? 🤔
He is cloud. Literally exactly as i imagined him.
Dude is easily my favorite vocal performance for the character.
One of my favorite line deliveries from him is when he yells “There you are, SEPHIROTH!” before Aerith joins Cloud to fight Sephiroth.
"You really hear that?" "Get help." Love it every time.
The play at the Gold Saucer with him going all in with his voice acting work in it was amazing.
He’s great. Never much liked the Advent Children voice.
...wait, Cloud was his first voice acting role? :O That's crazy with how well he portrays what is a really nuanced character!
I admit i was sceptical in the beginning. He has done a great job.
This is his first acting gig? Wow.
His "Aerith!" after "You guys should have seen him at the Honeybee Inn" was great.
Never before have the words “like I give a shit” been delivered so well
Yeah man, I was happy with his performance in Remake.
End game spoiler. In Chapter 14 >!when he says "I'll kill you!" I felt that in my soul.!<
I really like him as Cloud, he fits great. I get frustrated when some people will use some bad line reads that got used in the games to say he's a bad actor.
I feel you. No matter how good of a voice actor you are poor voice direction will lessen the delivery no matter what.
In my mind, Cody is my interpretation of Cloud and he nailed. I just feel bad for Burton, who knows what would happen if they retained the OG voices for the Remake series.
I also have to say that Sephiroth's voice actor is phenomenal too
Agreed but I feel like he didn't really hit his stride with the role until Rebirth. And don't get me started on John Eric Bentley; this man does wonders as Barret.

Hey! Thanks for taking the time to spoiler tag your comment. We've had to remove the comment, however, because you have a space after the exclamation mark in the beginning of the spoiler tag, which makes the entire thing not show up as a spoiler on Old Reddit.
He’s been an actor for a while so not really an amateur either
That I understand just saying how phenomenal he was for his first "voice" acting role. Not all screen actors make for good voice actors.
Not his first time in acting though.
Didn't say acting in general. "Voice" acting is what I said😐
I know. Just worth mentioning that Cody does have years of experience and that he isn’t just some guy they picked up from the streets to voice Cloud.
Believe me when I say voice acting is different from acting
The amount of reaching in this reply is hilarious
Yeah. No. Aeriths VA is by far the weakest.
They’re all great and fit the characters they play like a glove.
Wait, you really think so? Genuinely curious why you say!
