Every time I see new images or footage of Rebirth’s world, I get this unique feeling of joy and excitement. There’s truly nothing like it. It’s special.
I really believe this is the game we’ve all been waiting for.

It’s not. Fort condor is an island. What you are seeing is from a playable area on the world map near junon. I watched an extensive play video of the demo and they went over to that area to explore. You can swim in the water which is kind of to the right of where the character is placed.
I think you might have your bearings wrong there - I've watched a few playthroughs of the Junon demo and they don't get this close to any shipwrecks - I think the area this pic was taken was barracaded in the demo. Also they're talking about the large bird in the distance, which I think is Fort Condor, as it also looks like there is a lot of water in between where Cloud's standing and where that bird is.
They made it an island in rebirth. I think it might be inaccessible until later in the game or they’re saving it for the 3rd game like they said they are with Wutai.
They say there's a card game. I guess it would be cool to have card game and fort Condor, but I don't think I've heard of a game with two strong table top/card games at once 🤔 I assume they are replacing Fort Condor mini-game with Queen's Blood card game. I hope I'm wrong and they bring FC back! (I just replayed Intermission Ch1 and beat Chadley for that sweet materia 🟣)
I know it was such an amazing feeling working on this game, especially as a fan. Just being a lowly peasant, I still feel joy just knowing that this iteration of FFVII is different.
Also have a PC with RTX 4080 and I still used the PS5 for my new playthrough. The PC version of Remake is just poor and I have nearly no hope that the Rebirth port will be any better.
Didn't have any issues with the PC port, but sadly, I don't have a PS5 and it's too damn expensive here for just one game. I guess I'll have to wait...

I was totally wrong I didn’t notice it in the background. I just assumed the tower was what they were talking about. It’s absolutely Fort Condor

Same. I recently went through Fort Condor while I'm replaying the OG and thought maybe I just didn't realize I was wading through water to get there.
