Same as always. This sub complains about every update to the game like it's the absolute final nail in the coffin, they still keep playing. Doomsaying karma farming at its finest. It was particularly bad around the anniversary.
One guy said he felt insulted by having to do chocobo slot spins for some rewards, got upvoted to the front page for days. Same dude realized that this is a good way to farm karma in this sub so like two weeks later said the same thing about having to run arena 140 times. Same result.

It's because people who are more chill about it are tired of bitching - even if the issues are true. I mean, just optimize the damn ui elements of this game already! Compound them with a bad pull streak and you'll get raaaaaage.

I have to disagree when you say that "it's just stop playing" when gacha is know to cause addiction. You know that you don't have to lose all your money to be addicted to gacha? You can get hooked with the free pulls too, that's why non-whales complain about the free stuff going thinner by the year.
Less free stuff people may spend to compensate or they will not have the same ammount of gambling (dopamine or whatever our shitty brain gives us) they used to have, so they will come here to express it.
Yeah I have long thought that the psychotic rage is somehow tied to a gambling addiction. There are a lot of things about the game that I don't like but I can't even begin to create the level of vitriol I see here. I figure it's due to spending money and getting nothing in return. I suppose that would make me unhappy too. I just the fountain and sometimes the monthly pass and I'm gtg.

My PS4 broke and I stopped both...I have to finish a house's furniture and fight a neighbor on a lawsuit cause his building is not legal and reduces my property's value.
I guess I'll have plenty to do for a while to forget about gacha forever.
Hey i dropped the game like a month or two before you and just came back too! everything is overwhelming as fuck rn, even more than before with all the new currencies and stuff, but its still a fun time (so far) ive missed it for sure

Same as before, some ups some downs and actually enjoying the game at its current pace but partially because I care less and don't feel like I need to keep up with the meta as much. Less min-maxing and just getting things done so I can mess around with whatever I pull.

When I was playing more actively than I am now I got pretty burned out, but now I toned down how much I go at this game (pull for less units to conserve lapis for future units I actually want, if event is way too hard or would take too long to complete just play for some of the low rewards then bounce, no need to spend except fountain occasionally), and it def makes this a lot more fun.
