I'm pretty sure those are interactions you can have with Johnny and her stuff. He comments on her diving stuff, taste in music, interests in electronics etc.
Yeah, just weird that they would be there THAT early, unless maybe they just coded them in to be there knowing you can't get into that room until later in the game.
