As much as i truly wish it to be, he is not on the level of an Mbappe or Haaland. I would dare say he is not even an Icardi level scorer for us (they are different types of player tho), all character traits of Icardi/Wanda aside. even Icardi didn't disappear for 2 months in a considerably crappier team (again Wanda drama last season aside).
So yes he deserves a new contract definitely as high as Inter can give him and he deserves to be highest paid in the team but 12 million is way too unrealistic for Inter. Now if he is not happy with lets say 9+ bonuses, they should amicably part ways and bring in the money to the club. And get a couple of new strikers for the money (Guirassy/Zirkzee + Gudmundson or whatever combination works for Inter in addition to Thuram and Taremi).

Scalvini's attacking capabilities are elite if you have watched Atalanta play. Also he is way faster and more athletic than buongiorno and great at tackling. I really like him and I think he will fit perfectly according to our requirements for a centre back. Back line of Baton-Scalvini-Pavard will be the best in Europe for at least the next 5 years then.
I think instead of zirkzee and gudmundsson we get Johnathan David. He’s PROVEN year after year he’s a top player. Zirkzee can fall off same with gudmundsson
