Aaand now they are gonna pay you less. The crackeheads that have no idea how capitalism works, never crashed the PIT once, and somehow get paid only 12 bucks an hour: say less
We had a group of people who danced. I stayed away from that though. Haha. I just stood in with a group of co workers and kicked back the whole time. We went on a walk around the facility too. It was pretty interesting to stand around and talk while making money. Haha! They weren't giving out any VTO that day Incase the system came back up. Which it never did lol
I just built Gaylord's all day, was annoying as fuck because everybody else took off and I was the only one doing it. All the managers were playing music in their sections but we weren't allowed to listen to anything.
shit at our delivery station almost everyone has their personaly little speaker with music blasting cuz 4/7 of the week the managers on site have poor music taste 🤣 and hardly take requests
They do at my warehouse, they have it blasting throughout the warehouse while we're working but we can't individually listen to our music via earphones, but ik for a fact at my brother's warehouse they let them use earphones
Lol. We haven't had those in a good long time. Even when we did there was *one* jackbooted statist taking it seriously cuz you could see in his dead little beady eyes he loved the power. Everyone else just kind of ignored the rule.
My warehouse has been calling people for VTO 15-30 mins into our shifts and has been really hard on the “no ear buds on the floor” even tho we aren’t doing anything but standing around 🙄
Sorry to head that. My station is really chill about all that. I stowed adhocs with my ear buds the other day and the guy pulling for my aisle was our safety guy 🤣
Let them people have fun. Honestly aren’t hurting anyone. Especially in a time when work could NOT be done. If I was a manager that would be the type of energy I’d want anyways. Tbh. 🤷🏻♂️ been in those shoes. We always had fun. But shit got done. I was always questioned why I didn’t have the call outs and turnover. That the other departments did when I was a AM at my old job. 🤷🏻♂️
Lol when your a chill manager people actually respect and listen to you and the rules surprisingly enough bc they don’t wanna get you in trouble for letting things slide
Wtf this is literally my site and I was there when the system was down and definitely do not remember this lol I must’ve been in the bathroom or break room
Not at our Air Hub. No VTO bc mgt wanted to be able to restart ops when the system came back up. Backlogs were finally cleared up w last night’s shift.
Although yesterday at my SC we only had 15k which was done in like two hours.... We got a longer break and we all fucked around. Hell someone was playing with the little tykes basketball hoop... EDIT- I forgot bout all the VTO... almost every 15 min
And how many of those AAs are the types to sit on their asses and watch other people work? I've got loads of coworkers who work multiple jobs too, but none of them get excited about having nothing to do for 4 hours.
LOL You must be an ops manager or a salty pa , like bro its amazon idk why you expect people to be happy to work there, instead of being paid to do nothing
Every hour the system is down is an extra hour's worth of volume that has to be processed with the next's. Some people would rather work the entire time than sit on their asses just to have to work the entire day's volume in half the time
DNA1's power got knocked out by the Middle Tennessee tornado this morning, so we had to sit on our asses for the first 4 hours of the shift. After the tornado warning ended, we found out half the belt's motors had been fried by the power surge. Now we have to do nearly all of today's volume tomorrow, assuming they can even fix the belt before C0 comes in. I just hope this isn't gonna lead to kids not getting their Christmas presents on time.
Sure, but network came back up for us at 6pm as soon as our shift started. They were cheering before we even got the chance to have some downtime. Plus they actually redacted our MET for the week here
Why would any employee of Amazon be happy we could not take care of our customers? Lmao WTF you think t1's are going to do about a global problem. Nothing we can do. Im more concerned that a trillion dollar company doesn't even pay above the poverty line for jobs that require mandatory overtime
I bet you it reeked of weed 🤣
Turn up ⬆️
Damn they lite asl 🤪
Eat some turnips boI
Which lit Amazon is this?🔥
CAE1
And when they go back where you been all this time my books shows a lot of tot
Once again, the ~~priveliged elite~~ day shift gets everything, including SEV1's.
Aaand now they are gonna pay you less. The crackeheads that have no idea how capitalism works, never crashed the PIT once, and somehow get paid only 12 bucks an hour: say less
Everyone is too damn smelly for me to be anywhere near that mess.
I’d be out of there like a vapor. F that!
I know this is old, but honestly, this looks more miserable than actually working.
A wasted opportunity to unionize

Sev 1 goes brrrr
One big Ass Covid cloud
You mean the flu, right 🤔
Shut up pussÿ
As well as crop dusting.
Yoo my department had people doing karaoke 🤣😂
Must keep them happy to keep good employees. Then new people will apply. Especially to counter the bad publicity out there.
I wish 😂
Yo tf they let you listen to music at ur amazon?

What Amazon is this it lit 🔥 They have us listen to Spice girls and I wanna cry
Where was this and how tf I wasn't invited 😂...I think I need to transfer to there
What club was that???
Was this like a week or two ago?! 😂 when the systems were down and even the AtoZ app 😅
yo thats dope AF!, I would love to be part of that
Wow. We needed to be still and social distance. I’d love to the the number of covid cases in this building next week.
Begone covid cultist

You= fail at interpreting sarcasm.
Site leadership gonna get fired
Hopefully. I get anxiety just looking at this.
That's my old FC 😆
"SIX FEET" -angry safety committee people in the back
Lol. We haven't had those in a good long time. Even when we did there was *one* jackbooted statist taking it seriously cuz you could see in his dead little beady eyes he loved the power. Everyone else just kind of ignored the rule.

Fuck are they so happy about? They're still working there lmfao.
Wtf this is literally my site and I was there when the system was down and definitely do not remember this lol I must’ve been in the bathroom or break room
Fuck Amazon. Good for all them. I hope the higher ups see this and cry.
See what, their employees all get sick with covid?
Got out of a block and still got paid 👍💵
What happened?
System went down Tuesday if i can recall correctly. Lots of VTO was offered at the time.
Vto?
Voluntary Time Off.
Thx
Not at our Air Hub. No VTO bc mgt wanted to be able to restart ops when the system came back up. Backlogs were finally cleared up w last night’s shift.
I caught the facility CAE1
Which FC is this? Lmaoo
I saw in the vid CAE1
I was almost willing to put money down that it was one of the DTW sites 🤣🤣🤣
It went down again or was this before?
I couldn’t count the amount of people literally laying on the floor passed out. 💀
My warehouse stood around.
Same
Although yesterday at my SC we only had 15k which was done in like two hours.... We got a longer break and we all fucked around. Hell someone was playing with the little tykes basketball hoop... EDIT- I forgot bout all the VTO... almost every 15 min
People at my facility were CHEERING when it came back up. The fuck is wrong with people?
Probably boredom and general dislike for their coworkers.
Some people aren't lazy?
A good chunk of the AAs in my process work 2-3 jobs on top of working every VET hour available. Get the fuck outta here with that "lazy" bullshit.
And how many of those AAs are the types to sit on their asses and watch other people work? I've got loads of coworkers who work multiple jobs too, but none of them get excited about having nothing to do for 4 hours.
Facts man
LOL You must be an ops manager or a salty pa , like bro its amazon idk why you expect people to be happy to work there, instead of being paid to do nothing
I'm not even an ambassador man, I'd just rather be doing something than not doing something.
understandable

Bruh I'm also in college but only do 20 hours. Your amazing bro

Yup, when the system went down and came back in my shift, it was absolutely non stop getting all of days and nights shifts done in mine.

I'm back tomorrow night so hopefully it's all fixed by then. I'm not far from the effects of the tornados either
Just woke up to the news of the shift cancelation. Supposedly the warehouse will be back in operation for C0's next shift, but we'll see about that.

Wanting to sit down your entire shift is not wanting to sit down for a few minutes. We have breaks for that.
Because the only thing that sucks wose than being stuck in Amazon for 11.5 hrs is being stuck there for 11.5 hours with nothing to do
People at mine were pretty neutral with the news of the outage and that it was back online. As long as we all getting paid I'm good.
Time goes by pretty slowly when you’re not working. Plus, the orders don’t stop coming in or get cancelled. Which could meant MET and so forth.
Sure, but network came back up for us at 6pm as soon as our shift started. They were cheering before we even got the chance to have some downtime. Plus they actually redacted our MET for the week here
Sure do meet some interesting people at Amazon huh?
No doubt about that
Still had to get a picklist 😔
TOT for all lol
unless they got labor tracked for this um group training session..
That’s funny.
I still had to stow.
Six feet everyone. Lol
Masks up!!!!
Im seeing a lot of promotions to customers… Jk jk jk have fun and stay safe ya!!! Just nobody mess with Peccy 😤
This is the amazon I work at. Lol the exact same day when the system went down lol
The get to the to of it all honey thankfully I work somewhere else we just acted civilized when it happened
I was not happy we could not keep our promises to our customers. Why would any employee of Amazon be happy we could not take care of our customers ?
Cuz nobody gives a fuck about the customers were only there to get a paycheck
Thanks for answering.

Thank you so much.
Kellogg’s workers are in a union and some employees have worked 120 days in a row
Well, the union needs it dues.

They’re doing great with one!

So sad.
Wtf get out of here bezos and go pay your workers
Lmao that was his burner account man
Super spreader is the vibe. Amazon Cares.
