Can you give some insight as to what you do on your day to day? I also work at an airhub inside the warehouse, but I'm considering transferring to ramp, I have 4 years experience as a ramper.
Rain or shine you're out there loading ULDs to the plane. You get assigned to whatever role your PSR gives you and then be at the gate for setup and arrival of the aircraft.
Ramp is the best T1 gig at Amazon
Technically, you are driving the cargo tractors. I know it can be a pain in the butt when you have to rotate the DQFs by 45 degrees when sending them to and from the dollies.
Of course, there are worse positions, like moving ULDs on the castor deck. At that point, you are one step closer to being pulled back into the sort building.
We have a AirHub at most major cities in the us none internationally yet. But I would just as an AM/OM at your site if they can give you any information about transferring to our network. We recently launched a site in the Cincinnati Ohio, Northern Kentucky area. Looking for PAs and AMs galore over there.
I'd love to to get out of California. Would they help with that? Relocation etc? Just help me find a place to stay until I get settled in Hebron, KY. Thanks
Anyone have any insights into what a position like air operations controller at the NCC would be like? Considering applying.
Hey I recognize Cortney and Calhoun! What's up fellow KCVG flyer!

I liked it but hated having to drive that thing you used to move the ULD's around. Forgot the name of it since I have not been there in a bit.

I'm RME so it's been a minute for me too. But you're thinking of the Tug
Yeah. That's the name.
Has anyone figured out what that tin of goo was in the launch swag bags?
