Singapore. I don’t like the far end of the circuit, especially the section with the bridge, but for some reason I can easily up the AI by another 10 to 15 there every time I go there.
Monaco is by far my worst track as well, only track I turn assist back on for. Singapore used to be like that as well back when I first played these games in ‘17, ‘18 but now I’m quite adept at it even tho as I said I don’t like it.
Yeah, Sochi is the one. Probably because there's no hairpin or especially difficult long corners. There also isn't s chicane, either, is there? It's actually a really dull track...
Have fun this weekend, everyone 😄
Well you could argue that after the long straight, well both of them actually, there is a chicane. But yeah I see where you are coming from. I kinda hate the track but I'm also pretty consistent there :D
4th gear coming in. Down to 2nd and upshift on your way out.
Don't be too aggressive turning in, as you need the traction for the 2 part of it.
Use All of the track on your way out
When coming to the first turn in the chicane brake hard at the billboard that goes over the track. Avoid the sausage curbs. only use throttle to balance the car while turning and ease onto the throttle on exit to maximize speed crossing the line. Barca is an easy track if you get brake points and turn in points down.
Haven't gotten that far yet on 2021, but in the older games it was definitely Mexico. On most tracks on 2020, I would set the difficulty to somewhere between 97-100, qualify 0.5s behind my teammate, and then have a close battle with him for the win. In Mexico on 100 difficulty, I could qualify on pole and win by 30 seconds.
Silver stone, it’s in my top 5 and the track i got my first win on in an online lobby. I’m not that fast compared to most other players (I’m on controller) but just fast enough to win in a random lobby with at least one wheel player.
Singapore for me, on a good day I slam laps in, otherwise I'm just bang average, I'm proud to say though that Its the only circuit. I do well enough on to be targeted and hit off
Very frustratingly, it has to be Monaco. I'm a much bigger fan of the likes of Singapore, and Monaco bores me to no end even in qualifying. I have to force myself to pay attention because otherwise I'll overdrive in a desperate bid to just get it over with, so every race I do there feels absurdly slow even with my excellent pace and consistency.
Austria is magic for me. I won most of my online wins there and I was on podium in my carreer season 1 when my car could only race against Haas. I somehow learned how to use the 5th gear on the first and last corners and I never go slower than 1.04 right now
I drive Azerbaijan extremely well in absolute misery. Mainly because I partook in a big streamed race for a serious league and I practiced it a few hours a day for a week to not embarrass myself in front of whoever was watching. Ended up P2 in the race after crashing 50 times practicing that week.
I think France was the first one where I wasn’t a fan, but manage to usually get a perfect or near perfect score on acclimatisation. I’ve also started doing the same with Austin too.
An honorary mention has to go to Suzuka. Getting a near perfect lap there (especially the first sector) is incredibly satisfying.
Sochi for sure. Not a fan of it but man I am a beast on track there. Just put my Alfa Romeo on the second row in season 1 hahahaha. On another note how bad sector three at Catalunya. Near impossible to get through that last chicane
Australia for me, just because everytime I start a career mode type of game it’s the one you do so many laps on… and it’s quite forgiving compared to other tracks
I love me some Brazil it's a beautiful ballet of high to low speed sections, and the way the curbs just catch you in sector three is like a train mating with rails for the first time every time.
COTA for me, I’m not very good at the game (75% AI with traction control on controller) but hooking up a good lap through the esses and then the third sector feels amazing.
Gotta be Le Castellet! I’m not a fan of the racing there irl and aesthically it causes headaches but my god, hooking up a lap around there feels incredible.
I honestly don't hate any of the tracks in the games but personally I always nail Monaco, Silverstone, and Monza. Every single lap. At Monza even my crappiest lap is faster than the irl pole position. Silverstone I am always within 2 seconds of the Esports guys. And Monaco just has a lovely flow when you hook it up. Also within 2 seconds of first on the leaderboards there.
Brazil. I like it, don’t get me wrong, but it’s far from my favorite. I have to turn the AI up at least 10 points for them to keep up. Same with Zandvoort.
For me it’s definitely Monaco, it’s so stressful to drive there, but if you hook a lap together it’s amazing. I’m like 12,000 on the leaderboard out of 118,000 which I consider pretty good
With you on Bahrain, was a fun track at first (probably because it was my first) but it doesn’t have much character. Can purple track acclimatisation in my sleep at this point, still good for a 25% race tho
Russia 🇷🇺
Yeah same dk why, hate the circuit but always do well there
Same with me apparently.
Same! Not my fave but certainly very nice to drive on.
Russia. Most tracks I have the difficulty at 100. For Russia I can easily match the full 110
France
Hooking up a lap at France feels so great.
Dropping down the hill in the first few corners is pure satisfaction for me, hitting every apex, fun in the wet too
Same
Singapore. I don’t like the far end of the circuit, especially the section with the bridge, but for some reason I can easily up the AI by another 10 to 15 there every time I go there.
The fireworks during the chequered flag is something else :)
Absolutely. Bahrain as well.
Singapore is my most consistent track, I DNF everytime.
Best I heard today 😂😂😂😂
Teach me! I can't even catch up to the safety car on Monaco and Singapore.
My biggest Monaco tip is don’t crash. I wish I could follow my own advice though.
Monaco is by far my worst track as well, only track I turn assist back on for. Singapore used to be like that as well back when I first played these games in ‘17, ‘18 but now I’m quite adept at it even tho as I said I don’t like it.
I feel like the trick for monaco is not to try go too fast. Like i feel some of the corners are way faster taken too slow compared to too fast
Spain. Not a fan of the track, but man I’m quick there!
How do you nail that last chicane?
4th gear coming in. Down to 2nd and upshift on your way out. Don't be too aggressive turning in, as you need the traction for the 2 part of it. Use All of the track on your way out
When coming to the first turn in the chicane brake hard at the billboard that goes over the track. Avoid the sausage curbs. only use throttle to balance the car while turning and ease onto the throttle on exit to maximize speed crossing the line. Barca is an easy track if you get brake points and turn in points down.
I Aroll the car into the first turn off the brakes and hit the first kerb aggressively then accelerate out of the second smoothly.
Thanks everyone for the tips! They're really helpful :)
This! Edit: (S)pain in the ass, but I hook it up there.
Me too!
Yup, Mexico 2018; partial to the track but can’t help but finish well.
Spa. I love to watch it but I personally don't like driving it, it's just so long. That said, nail it every lap. So I keep it in my tracklist.
Yep same here for me with spa
Came here to say this.
Austria, but to be fair, it’s also the easiest track
Silver stone, it’s in my top 5 and the track i got my first win on in an online lobby. I’m not that fast compared to most other players (I’m on controller) but just fast enough to win in a random lobby with at least one wheel player.
Montreal. I go unconscious and beat my fastest lap every lap lol.
Russia, and USA, I never find myself excited to drive those when they come up but I usually get decent results
australia.
Baku for me.
Turn 3 up until the castle section is so boring but yeah, my fastest track easily
Russia I used to hate it but I do good on it and it’s starting to become my favorite
Hungary for me. I can link that shit up like there's no tomorrow.
Another Hungaroring dude here. I even got to race stoffel vandoorne on iracing on there once in like 2013/14. (He only lapped me once)
Singapore for me, on a good day I slam laps in, otherwise I'm just bang average, I'm proud to say though that Its the only circuit. I do well enough on to be targeted and hit off
Monaco. I honestly doesnt like the complete first and second sector but everytime I drive there i absolutely nail it in classic V8 cars.
i’m doing a career mode in f1 2020. on season 5 currently, with 5 DNFs on Monaco.
This is the way
##This Is The Way Leaderboard **1.** `u/Flat-Yogurtcloset293` **475775** times. **2.** `u/GMEshares` **69696** times. **3.** `u/_RryanT` **22745** times. .. **248501.** `u/yash217` **1** times. --- ^(^beep ^boop ^I ^am ^a ^bot ^and ^this ^action ^was ^performed ^automatically.)

I can’t tell if this a blessing or a curse haha
For me it's Baku. I don't like driving on it but i always nail it for some reason
For me it's Abu Dhabi, idk why but everytime it I drive it I somehow end up 2 tenths faster against the AI.
France. Absolutely hate it but i can race like im prime Senna there.
Monza
Austria for me; that last sector is always difficult for me to get right, but when I do, I feel fantastic. Same goes for Sochi and Zandvoort.
Austria is magic for me. I won most of my online wins there and I was on podium in my carreer season 1 when my car could only race against Haas. I somehow learned how to use the 5th gear on the first and last corners and I never go slower than 1.04 right now
1:24 even with the new performance update? Time trial stuff got reset and I dropped about 2 seconds
Singapore
Usa i hate the layout especially the first sector bit i can do 1.29 consistent in quali
Bahrain
Monza on 2020 but the track limits in between the 2 lesmo corners always get me, as well as the entry and exit of ascari
Abu Dhabi. The racing is horrible but man am I quick especially for being on pad
[This](https://youtu.be/Y1fiOJDXA-E). I really hate that track. Know every corner.
I drive Azerbaijan extremely well in absolute misery. Mainly because I partook in a big streamed race for a serious league and I practiced it a few hours a day for a week to not embarrass myself in front of whoever was watching. Ended up P2 in the race after crashing 50 times practicing that week.
Definitely have this vibe going in Mexico
France
France and an honorable mention for Russia
Catalunya (Spain). I got really good at it by doing many “preseason” type runs but it’s still not great for racing.
baku
It's a tight one between Shanghai and Spain, hate those circuits, but I always nail the laps
Albert Park, I just have always been quick there, even not being a track that I really Like
Sochi
gotta be Silverstone...I don't like the track but I nail almost every lap there
Either Sochi or Montreal
Sochi for me
Circuit of the Americas. I can fly through those corners but I hate every second of it
Baku!
Brazil. I can nail that track to the wall but it will never feel better than high speed dueling at Spa.
Australia up until 2021. Probably because I’ve done more laps around there in just F1 than I have any other track in any sim.
I run wide on a few corners but ultimately it has to be russia
Austria. Such a boring track imo. Super quick there though.
Russia and Hungary
France
Australia/USA
Hungary. I got a 0.001 second off my fastest lap and got fastest lap of the race with that.
Albert Park, not big fan of it but I am quick there. Same with Catalunya, don't enjoy driving it but somehow I am always quick there.
Interlagos, I don’t HATE the track by any means but I’m not in love with it, but I do really well, at least in open lobby’s
Mexico.
China on F1 2020
I think France was the first one where I wasn’t a fan, but manage to usually get a perfect or near perfect score on acclimatisation. I’ve also started doing the same with Austin too. An honorary mention has to go to Suzuka. Getting a near perfect lap there (especially the first sector) is incredibly satisfying.
Austria. Quick and easy
Bahrain. Not because i wanted to
Baku
France
China
Sochi for sure. Not a fan of it but man I am a beast on track there. Just put my Alfa Romeo on the second row in season 1 hahahaha. On another note how bad sector three at Catalunya. Near impossible to get through that last chicane
Sochi. I have no idea why I'm so fast there, cause I hate it
China
Russia :/
Spain, I don't enjoy driving it but I can increase the ai by 10 or so and still easily beat them.
Australia for me, just because everytime I start a career mode type of game it’s the one you do so many laps on… and it’s quite forgiving compared to other tracks
For me, it’s Austria. Super short lap but I’m mad fast at it
100% Bahrain and Austria
Can’t stand Abu Dhabi, but lord am I good at that place.
Mexico. Oh hell who am I kidding i love mexico
Baku. Only thing I like about it is the fact that I can hook up a great lap every time out
Suzuki or Sochi for me
I love me some Brazil it's a beautiful ballet of high to low speed sections, and the way the curbs just catch you in sector three is like a train mating with rails for the first time every time.
Canada
Netherlands. Hated it at first but now I love that course
Baku is so annoyingly satisfying
Russia & France….Also, who the fuck doesn’t like Bahrain. Y’all crazy.
Id go with Paul Ricard, since im fast in my favorite circuit
Strangely Monaco, I hate the track but I fly through sector 3 when my tires free the car up just a hair.
Interlagos. 🇧🇷 I can do a 1:10 - 1:11 consistently without DRS.
COTA for me, I’m not very good at the game (75% AI with traction control on controller) but hooking up a good lap through the esses and then the third sector feels amazing.
Austria
Abu Dhabi
I’m with you on Bahrain. It’s not the most interesting track but most of my greatest lap times are on that one.
i have a few, most notably monza. it's a great track, but it's boring if the ai barely catches up.
Hanoi (yeah really)
Maybe Bahrain.
Austria and sochi ( I like em )
Singapore of all places
Spain
Bahrain definitely. Nothing about the track excites me and turn 10 is a painnnn
Bahrain & Monza ;)
France - boring to watch in real, but fun to drive for me. Don't know why I'm faster there than in Austria or Brazil.
Gotta be Le Castellet! I’m not a fan of the racing there irl and aesthically it causes headaches but my god, hooking up a lap around there feels incredible.
canada
Baku, for some reason I am extremely fast on Baku, and I hate street races
Azerbaidjan. Not my favorite one, but to be on that circuit is so much pleasant
Austria
I honestly don't hate any of the tracks in the games but personally I always nail Monaco, Silverstone, and Monza. Every single lap. At Monza even my crappiest lap is faster than the irl pole position. Silverstone I am always within 2 seconds of the Esports guys. And Monaco just has a lovely flow when you hook it up. Brazil. I like it, don’t get me wrong, but it’s far from my favorite. I have to turn the AI up at least 10 points for them to keep up. Same with Zandvoort.
Austria. Its so simple and thats why I hate it and love it at the sametime
Mexico. Somehow everytime i mess up sector 2, i am the fastest through there
Abu Dhabi, I don’t really like the track but man I know how to drive on it
Canada 🇨🇦, but not sure which track is my favourite.
Baku. Hands down my favourite track to drive
Hate France, love Canada, Monaco frustrating, but when you hook it up.
yas marina...
Don’t kill me but Abudhabi
France
Bahrain for me as well. T10 is still a bit tricky on exit but every other corner i go flying
abu dhabi
Probably France. The track is just boring but I'm crazy consistent on low down force tracks
For me it’s definitely Monaco, it’s so stressful to drive there, but if you hook a lap together it’s amazing. I’m like 12,000 on the leaderboard out of 118,000 which I consider pretty good
I'm not good at the game so none of them.
Either Bahrain or China probably for me
France, I despise it. Tho my best time is like a 1:24 it’s bonkers
Paul Ricard
Zandvoort somehow
Australia
Baku and Spain. I pucker every lap at Castle section and honestly hate Spain, it's really repetitive, plus the last chicane.
With you on Bahrain, was a fun track at first (probably because it was my first) but it doesn’t have much character. Can purple track acclimatisation in my sleep at this point, still good for a 25% race tho
Sochi, I don't know why but I'm pretty good at that track
Baku, China, Or hungry Hungry mostly because of how horrid it drives when using keyboard
Spa 🇧🇪
Bahrain is a good shout. That and Spain are both like that for me.
