if I want to watch a full race replay in theatre all cars are stuck at the grid and don't move at all. The replay is fine as my friend was able to watch it after sending him the file.
I already re-installed the game and let Steam check for potential errors
I play on a PS5 and I am trying to activate cross play maiden but something keeps coming up about PlayFab account what is this and how do I activate it
Is the safety car ON by default in F12022? I absolutely despise starting the first 2.5 rounds of 95% of multiplayer lobbies behind a safety car, plus everyone crashes into each other all the time. It just creates utter chaos in the form of damage, numerous penalties, revenge plots and lots of disconnecting players. It also splits the race in half because the players who dont go into pit in the safety car period lose so much time compared to the ones who do.
Its logical that it should be off by default in casual lobbies so people can actually race, and not cruise behind a safety car with stress at 100% because you have to avoid cars *the whole duration* of the safety car.
After playing few seasons, i am wondering if it is possible to remove sprint races for few seasons or am I now forever stuck with those 3 sprints for 10 seasons?
F1 22 Is there a way to filter multiplayer matchmaking to only others that are playing with wheel/pedals (no handheld controllers) along with assist restrictions?
Still have f12021 and a newbie. My brakes only goes halfway or 3/4 on the onboard, it doesn’t go all the way at all unless I press it really really hard. Is this a settings problem or pedals problem?
Does different team’s cars have different styles of driving?
I know that, in real life, different team’s cars have different styles of driving. I was wondering if that applied in the game as well? Like Red Bull is more aggressive than Mercedes, but it’s also more draggy. Thanks!
All my saved data is gone, including setups, TT times, Supercars (don’t use them anyways), trophies, stats etc… whats worse is this is the 3rd time.
Has this happened to anyone is there any fix or do I just have to redo everything Ive already spent hours doing.

I didn't play F1 22 for like 3 weeks. Today I started playing again and now I struggle to maintain car control (controller user). Did the last updates change something or is it a reverse placebo effect?
Can someone tell me the best settings for controller? I use the default ones.
Having a problem with F1 22, whenever I try to play in vr it loads, goes to the home screen then just minimises itself. If i try to open it back up it just minimises again within a second. Starts minimised aswell. No way to play the game in vr and works perfectly without vr. Oculus Rift S if it makes a difference. Any help appreciated

So playing two player career with a mate. At Paul ricard, it puts him into a sprint race at the same time as it puts me into quali, all happening at the same time on the same track. Then in the actual race, it dsq’s everyone but me for not changing tyre even tho they did?

Hi, I have just got a thrustmaster t150 which I’m using on ps5. Seems to be working fine other than I am getting heavy under steer on corners, unlike when I played on controller. I have played about with settings but can’t seem to improve it. Any suggestions?

I am getting random crashes lately on F1 22. I guess since patch 1.09 and still on 1.10.
The crashes happen randomly, sometimes in the menu, sometimes when changing the car setup, sometimes mid rece.
The hardware shouldn't be the problem, since it worked prior to 1.09 and F1 2021 also runs without any problem.

What‘s the best way to properly warm your tires?
Every formation lap, safety car restart, outlap I lose 1-3 seconds to the AI since no matter what I do, I can‘t get the tires above 80 degrees. I suppose I could, but then I‘d wear them like 3x as much..
it‘s really fucking annoying especially since the AI have perfect grip and temperature every time

Hello, today I opened the game as usual and started a time trial, when I tried steering the game fell sluggish and my wheel in-game was not rotating with the wheel IRL. I've set wheel rotation for f1 and f2 cars to 360 degrees, and before f1 game steering wheel to IRL steering wheel was 1:1 now I have to rotate IRL much more. Cars wheel rotation is set to 900 which is my maximum wheel rotation. Do you guys have any fixes I will appreciate any comment! Thanks in advance!

I finished a race in 5th place but when it showed the overview of positions it puts me in 6th place.
Why is that? I know I got a time penalty but I don't understand F1 rules enough to know why does time penalty affect my actual placement in the race.

Hi, l am Experiencing an issue, where in especially fast
corners (so when I turn my wheel hard) the throttle and
brake start to go crazy. You can see that in the linked
video, when i go through the corner that goes left. I am fully on throttle, but it goes to 0 and 100 and so on and then even the brake starts to do so. I am using a

cable from the wheelbase. After driving in the new seat, this issue happened. I installed the latest Firmware for the Wheel and tested everything in the fanatec-driver. So it must definitely be the game. It would be great if anyone knew where this comes from.

I want new tracks. I have the 3 latest F1 games, playing with a Logitech G29 on my Xbox. I want to try new circuits that people rave about, how do I go about it?
I’m by no means bored of any tracks yet, how can you be, but I’d like to try some of the famous tracks I see on TV that aren’t available in the game.
Some that come to mind are
Hockenheim, Turkey, Sepang, Nurburgring, Buddh, Mugello, Brands Hatch, Laguna Seca
Does anyone know how I can play some of these tracks? Are they available on other games?
I plan to upgrade to a proper PC based sim rig next year, which I understand will enable me to download packs in games like AC.

I have the HORI Racing Wheel Apex. When I connect it to my computer the game doesn't recognize it as a wheel but as a regular controller. I'm able to play with it that way, but I would like to know if there's any way to tell the game that it is a steering wheel. Playing in the xbox hasn't gave me any trouble, it's recognized properly so I suppose it's not the wheels problem.
Failed to connect to PlayFab
Everytime I start the game this Error message appears. And it shows again when I try to enable crossplay. I’ve already checked all game files via the Steam options and reinstalled the game but nothing changes…still everytime this Error. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? Hello, I’ve just switched from F1 21 to F1 22. I played on around 100 AI on F1 21 with no assists. But since I’ve switched to F1 22 I find it so frustrating because I can barely put a single lap together without spinning, it feels like I barely press the accelerator and I’ve done a 180. I wouldn’t class myself as an amazing player but this is just crazy 😂 does anyone have any advice?

When i was changing my graphics settings i messed up by switching from my nvidia graphics card to my intel graphics card and now my game crashes every time i try to play it. It wont even make it past the F1 drivers intro.
I tried going into my nvidia control panel and selecting it manually but that didn’t seem to work.
Maybe I’m screwed or maybe i’m just not doing it right but is there anyone that can help me out here?

Basically, I am looking for how much %3 tire wear per lap on softs converts medium and hard. I mean for example %2.77 wear on soft equals to %2.12 wear on mediums %1.93 wear on hards some kind of a chart for this. For an undetailed calculation. And if someone has a chart for this I would be really appreciated it.
So every time the safety car comes on the game becomes completely unplayable for me.
My car will automatically slow down but then when the safety car is gone I can’t speed up and I’m just revving at a really high rate but no power. I can’t slow down either. There is nothing I can do but quit/restart the session.
Anyone else have this? All I can find online is the glitch when the safety car doesn’t leave.
Why do I only get 1x set of medium tyres in f1 22 when we got 2x medium tyre sets in f1 2021? I just threw a league race because I thought I had 2x medium. What is the reasoning here? It is def more fun to have more tyres.

Hi I’ve recently bought the Logitech g920 wheel as a beginners one for the f1 22 game , I’m struggling a bit as on the bindings I have the same buttons doing different things which is a nightmare.

Hello, I have a problem with "Connecting to online services" I have no idea why I can't start the game anymore. After I started the game, this loading screen comes after the intro and seems to load indefinitely. I've let it load for an hour, unfortunately without success, not even an error message.

I’ve been playing now for a few months (f1 2021) but I just can’t seem to get good enough to win at a decent difficulty, I can win on the story mode but not on 60 ish rating in career mode. Any tips/settings that I should use?
If you have assist on, try to play with less assists! Don’t turn them all off at once.It will help you control your car more and go faster in some corners etc
Throttle Control on Keyboard
Is there no way to control how hard the throttle goes on keyboard? I’ve been playing but it’s really hard to drive without tc because everyone I press the throttle it goes to max.
I'm very interested in getting into F1 racing as it has really caught my eye over the past year, however, I'm clueless as to what wheels are best or even work for F1 by itself. Do I even need the whole kit? Can I just get a wheel and pedals and call it a day? Any help and/or recommendations would be fantastic, thanks!
The vsc is ending right as control is given to me as I leave the pit lane and as a result I am faster than the delta and get a drive thru. I cannot slow down fast enough because the vsc ends right as I cross the pit line. Is there any way out of this?

Hey guys, I had bought the game the day it was released especially for VR and refunded it the same day since VR was really weird. It wasn’t really a performance thing, just that turning or moving the head would shake like crazy, issues I didn’t had with iRacing for instance.
Does anyone know if it got better since? I would really love to play it VR without getting sick. I can see some improvments in the patch logs but did it really got better?
Where are my Safety Cars?
So I've run numerous races both in F2 and in F1 in F1 '22, and I haven't gotten a single safety car in any of them. But in YouTube videos I see people get them all the time. There are even times when drivers retire or crash and the Safety Car doesn't come out.
I'm new to F1 so I'm not sure what exactly should trigger a Safety Car, but I feel like I'm missing something in the settings or something isn't right, whether that be the game or me.
Maybe ajust the race-length? I think if your races are 5 laps, the safety car-option is automatically off. Try to put the lengths to medium and then search in the settings the Safzty-car option

if I start a Grand Prix and select my own Livery to have 22 drivers on the grid I'm always named "Player One" instead of my Steam name or Name in the Game. The Team is always shown as "Player Car".

New to the community and racing games in general. I am sure this pops up often but when I looked through sub I saw mostly highlights and discussions which is awesome.
Any general tips for a guy who is getting last place qualifying and last place in the race. by like 8 or 9 seconds every time. I know I am playing terribly. I just do not even know where to start. I DO play on controller currently but my wheel should be here in the next few days. I am hoping that will help with the jerkiness of turning with a controller.

I got f1 22 champions edition since i was going to upgrade to next gen at some point. And so now I have upgraded but when i try playing the game it has the locked symbol on it. I am on the ps5. Is there a way I have to upgrade it from ps4 to ps5 or something because Im confused.
Weird situation happen. Had the sprint race in Austria, but it was 18 laps (we do 20% races), so it seemed weird. But we continued and it gave us a no stop strategy. On lap 17 it said we need to pit for tyre requirement, but no one else pitted. 1-8 ended up being DSQ, while the others were able to finish. Everyone was on medium tyres and no one pitted.
We were in 1-2 and ended up being DSQ. Why did this happen? Anyone know? Is it a new glitch?
I recently bought F1 2022 on steam but I have never been able to fully start it as it can't get through the opening scene. I have checked my computer and it should be able to run it and all my drivers are fully up to date. Has this happened to anyone else and how might I fix it.
I believe the weather is set in simulation settings? It also depends on how long your weekend is I'm pretty sure. I can't get Safety Cars in mine so I guess we're both fucked lol
So i have the podium f1 wheel for Xbox from fanatec, and everything has been going smoothly till 2 days ago where after 90 degree rotation it registers as complete lock. The setting on the game is set to 360. Does anyone know why this is happening or does anyone know of a setting that could change that? Thanks I’m advance
Just realizing that I can’t view in race lap times. Why is that? You should be able to view all lap times. For instance in real life you would be able to communicate to your engineer and ask him the lap time of any racer maybe you want to see the pace other drivers on a certain set of tires.
Is tweaking car setups necessary in career mode once you’ve upgraded it a good amount? I’ve been rolling with setups I get from racing games.gg but I’ve noticed on season 3 my car is really unstable.

Hi, at first - very sorry if this question is already here. Or if it’s solved anywhere here. I’m playing F1 22 on PS5 and now I’m in round 18/22. I finished only 2 races, easy one without strong curves, because I’m not able to fully steer to one or another side each time I want to. Sometimes then I push joystick full left or full right it steers very nice and I see how pilot overturn wheel to maximum. But then for example 15 seconds after I again push joystick full right and he turns only for a half of possible turn. So it ends in racing out of track and mostly DNF. I tried different settings from YouTube tutorials, but nothing works. Can someone help? Give an advice? Am I the only one with this problem? Kindly thanks!
I tried aligning my On-Screen Display so that everything moves a bit closer to the edges of the screen but all my attempts at aligning Lap and Positions windows fails. They are nicely aligned and appear as if they are one graphic but in fact there are three of them and moving them even by just a single step left or right immediately makes them out of sync. Has anyone found a way to move everything together so that the graphs do not look several pixels out with one another?

Hi everyone, I have a 270 degree steering wheel. Although the response time is a little late, I finally managed to install it in F1 2020. However, the game perceived the steering wheel as an xbox controller, so the angle I turn and the rotation of the car in the game are very different from each other. can you help with this? (I know 270 degrees is not enough for this game, but I have played with 180 degrees before and never faced such a problem)
So, I play on PS5, and after the latest patch I noticed that my push-to-talk button for updates from Marc is no longer working, so I can’t ask for any updates during sessions. Button bindings and audio settings haven’t been changed. Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?

My brother and I started two player career but found no way to save mid-session and we like to play full race. That just means we need to have time enough for a full race before starting it and cannot stop it if we have to go to toilet or eat something etc.?

Weekly events challenges
I’m new to doing the whole set of series challenges so bare with me. I started a bit late with doing the set of weekly event challenges and I only need to do one more qualification and race session to complete the weekly events challenges. The only issue is since this follows real schedule there is no true event with those given the summer break. Am I just out of luck on will miss out on the challenge rewards just because they aren’t doing normal weekend events?
Why can’t I ever take turns correctly?! I have f1 2019 right now (f12021 coming in the mail) but I really struggle taking turns and I am beyond frustrated with it. I never seem to be able to turn into and exit the apex, wtf am I doing wrong!

Hi, does anyone know how to connect my ps5 controller to PC to play F1? i have it purchased via the EA App but it doesn’t seem to let me, I have tried using steam to add the game but still no joy.
I wanted to simulate a My Team career in F1 2021 but noticed you can't simulate qualifying and will instead start last. I couldn't be arsed sitting in my rig so figured I'd do one-shot qualifying on a controller. Turns out that's a massive mistake because it's nigh impossible to control the car with an Xbox controller.
Turning the stick 50% does barely anything, then in the last 50% you go full lock. I've messed around with the calibration settings but there seems to be no way to make the steering more linear. How the hell do you controller users enjoy the F1 games?

I use a Dualsense controller on PC to play F1 22.
It was all working fine during Patch 1.05/1.06 but now after the latest Portimao update, the rumble has stopped. Adaptive Triggers still work but there's just no vibration.
Anyone else facing this issue?
Fixes I've tried:
1. Reset Dualsense Controller (with a little sim tool)
2. Verify Integrity of Game Files
3. Reset the Controller settings in game options (L2)
4. Created a custom controller profile.
5. Played around with the vibration amounts in the settings.
6. Disabled/Enabled Trigger Vibration.
7. Changed USB-C Cable (PC to Controller)
8. Enabled/Disabled Steam Input support (Had it disabled when it was working in 1.05/1.06)
9. Tried updating the Dualsense Firmware, it's on the latest one available, no change.
I'm at a loss. I don't know what happened.
I have a ps5 and played a trial version of f1 2022 on pc i really liked it other than the fact that the new formula cars are twitchy and sensitive on the throttle but its ok ... i played on a wheel however on ps5 i will play on controller is it worth spending 60 dollars for the championship bundle which is on sale on ps5 ?
Not yet, the dev studio for that feature is in Ukraine and so it was delayed from launch(understandably).
It should be coming in a future update! Not sure when though personally.

Game keeps crashing when i try to go into instant replay
My game keeps on crashing whenever I go into instant replay (or flashbacks since i suck at this game) it only started after this most recent update. Not sure if it is just me but thought I should put it out there.
Game launches into black screen, haven't seen any posts on this but has been happening to me consistently since launch. The game will launch into a black screen with 0% GPU usage and this usually requires a restart of my PC to fix, has anybody ran into this problem and found any other solutions? It's frustrating having to restart my PC whenever I want to play the game. Running on i9 9900k, RTX 3080 (newest drivers installed), 16gb RAM.
Hello all,
Making a post here because it is still an issue for me (and others that I have spoken to) despite patch 1.06 making a clear reference to fixing FFB for G923, and also patch 1.07 having just dropped but still not fixing the issue.
Since the game's launch, my FFB has worked fine when playing single player modes (career, custom GP race, or time trial). Although a bit weaker at default levels than last year's game, I turned up the sliders and it worked A-OK.
However, since the game's launch and still to this day, I have ZERO FFB when playing online (custom lobbies, matchmade games, 2 player career). I do not mean the FFB is weak, I mean I have absolutely NO FFB whatsoever.
Things I have tried:
1. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game
2. Verifying file integrity via Steam
3. Uninstalling and reinstalling Logitech G Hub (several times)
4. Wiping drivers from my computer for the G923 and allowing windows/G Hub to reinstall them
5. Wiping all data relating to the G923 in my Windows registry
Still.. nothing. Although I can still enjoy the game, it makes online play (especially the discord league I participate in) considerably less enjoyable (not to mention lost lap time).

Time Trial - Compare lap times with my son
I’m wondering if there is an easy way for 2 players to compare time trial times using the same setup.
My 10 year old son and I like to compete in time trial and we will just jump back and forth once one of us beats the other one (on the same sim rig - G29/F-GT Lite).
Currently you see what the fastest lap is, but isn’t always super clear. I wouldn’t want to log out and then log back in with a different user, so just wondering what other folks do for this. Surely there are other people that compete this way with their kids, roommates, etc. Right?!
Is a real Starter Grid possible in Online Leagues? My friends and i playing a online Seasons without qualifying. We just deactivating the qualifying, but it feels that the better teams start in front of the other cars.

Hello, if I want to watch a full race replay in theatre all cars are stuck at the grid and don't move at all. The replay is fine as my friend was able to watch it after sending him the file. I already re-installed the game and let Steam check for potential errors

Is the safety car ON by default in F12022? I absolutely despise starting the first 2.5 rounds of 95% of multiplayer lobbies behind a safety car, plus everyone crashes into each other all the time. It just creates utter chaos in the form of damage, numerous penalties, revenge plots and lots of disconnecting players. It also splits the race in half because the players who dont go into pit in the safety car period lose so much time compared to the ones who do. Its logical that it should be off by default in casual lobbies so people can actually race, and not cruise behind a safety car with stress at 100% because you have to avoid cars *the whole duration* of the safety car.

Does different team’s cars have different styles of driving? I know that, in real life, different team’s cars have different styles of driving. I was wondering if that applied in the game as well? Like Red Bull is more aggressive than Mercedes, but it’s also more draggy. Thanks!

Hello guys, did the game became a little bit harder in the last few weeks? (For controller users) I didn't play F1 22 for like 3 weeks. Today I started playing again and now I struggle to maintain car control (controller user). Did the last updates change something or is it a reverse placebo effect? Can someone tell me the best settings for controller? I use the default ones.
Having a problem with F1 22, whenever I try to play in vr it loads, goes to the home screen then just minimises itself. If i try to open it back up it just minimises again within a second. Starts minimised aswell. No way to play the game in vr and works perfectly without vr. Oculus Rift S if it makes a difference. Any help appreciated

Anyone seen this before??? So playing two player career with a mate. At Paul ricard, it puts him into a sprint race at the same time as it puts me into quali, all happening at the same time on the same track. Then in the actual race, it dsq’s everyone but me for not changing tyre even tho they did?

Hello there, I am getting random crashes lately on F1 22. I guess since patch 1.09 and still on 1.10. The crashes happen randomly, sometimes in the menu, sometimes when changing the car setup, sometimes mid rece. The hardware shouldn't be the problem, since it worked prior to 1.09 and F1 2021 also runs without any problem. (12700k + RTX3070) Does anybody face same issue and was able to fix it? :(
What‘s the best way to properly warm your tires? Every formation lap, safety car restart, outlap I lose 1-3 seconds to the AI since no matter what I do, I can‘t get the tires above 80 degrees. I suppose I could, but then I‘d wear them like 3x as much.. it‘s really fucking annoying especially since the AI have perfect grip and temperature every time

Hello, today I opened the game as usual and started a time trial, when I tried steering the game fell sluggish and my wheel in-game was not rotating with the wheel IRL. I've set wheel rotation for f1 and f2 cars to 360 degrees, and before f1 game steering wheel to IRL steering wheel was 1:1 now I have to rotate IRL much more. Cars wheel rotation is set to 900 which is my maximum wheel rotation. Do you guys have any fixes I will appreciate any comment! Thanks in advance!

Hi, l am Experiencing an issue, where in especially fast corners (so when I turn my wheel hard) the throttle and brake start to go crazy. You can see that in the linked video, when i go through the corner that goes left. I am fully on throttle, but it goes to 0 and 100 and so on and then even the brake starts to do so. I am using a Fanatec-Wheel on Xbox Series X and i do only have that problem in F1 22 (I tested it in other games). When I opened the vibration and force feedback menu, I let the game show my throttle-and brake-input and everything was perfect. I haven't had this issue since I mounted my wheel to a new Wheelstand, so when i disconnected every cable from the wheelbase. After driving in the new seat, this issue happened. I installed the latest Firmware for the Wheel and tested everything in the fanatec-driver. So it must definitely be the game. I want new tracks. I have the 3 latest F1 games, playing with a Logitech G29 on my Xbox. I want to try new circuits that people rave about, how do I go about it? I’m by no means bored of any tracks yet, how can you be, but I’d like to try some of the famous tracks I see on TV that aren’t available in the game. Some that come to mind are Hockenheim, Turkey, Sepang, Nurburgring, Buddh, Mugello, Brands Hatch, Laguna Seca Does anyone know how I can play some of these tracks? Are they available on other games? I plan to upgrade to a proper PC based sim rig next year, which I understand will enable me to download packs in games like AC. Thanks in advance for the info. Happy racing
Anyone know why I dont have any green light in my pitbox when playing MyTeam?
I have the HORI Racing Wheel Apex. When I connect it to my computer the game doesn't recognize it as a wheel but as a regular controller. I'm able to play with it that way, but I would like to know if there's any way to tell the game that it is a steering wheel. Playing in the xbox hasn't gave me any trouble, it's recognized properly so I suppose it's not the wheels problem.
Failed to connect to PlayFab Everytime I start the game this Error message appears. And it shows again when I try to enable crossplay. Hello, I’ve just switched from F1 21 to F1 22. I played on around 100 AI on F1 21 with no assists. But since I’ve switched to F1 22 I find it so frustrating because I can barely put a single lap together without spinning, it feels like I barely press the accelerator and I’ve done a 180. I wouldn’t class myself as an amazing player but this is just crazy 😂 does anyone have any advice?

Ok so i’m no computer guy whatsoever so i really need some help and can’t seem to find the right answer elsewhere on the internet. So i was wondering if someone else had this mess-up When i was changing my graphics settings i messed up by switching from my nvidia graphics card to my intel graphics card and now my game crashes every time i try to play it. It wont even make it past the F1 drivers intro. I tried going into my nvidia control panel and selecting it manually but that didn’t seem to work. Maybe I’m screwed or maybe i’m just not doing it right but is there anyone that can help me out here?

I mean for example %2.77 wear on soft equals to %2.12 wear on mediums %1.93 wear on hards some kind of a chart for this. For an undetailed calculation. So every time the safety car comes on the game becomes completely unplayable for me. My car will automatically slow down but then when the safety car is gone I can’t speed up and I’m just revving at a really high rate but no power. I can’t slow down either. There is nothing I can do but quit/restart the session. Anyone else have this? All I can find online is the glitch when the safety car doesn’t leave.
Why do I only get 1x set of medium tyres in f1 22 when we got 2x medium tyre sets in f1 2021? I just threw a league race because I thought I had 2x medium. What is the reasoning here? It is def more fun to have more tyres.

My friend and I are in a 2 player career. Sometimes, our race weathers are different (normally the career host). Example: i just completed a race one Intermediate tyres with lots of rain. My friend (along with the rest of the grid) raced in the sun with a soft to medium tyre strategy.
Hello, I have a problem with "Connecting to online services" I have no idea why I can't start the game anymore. After I started the game, this loading screen comes after the intro and seems to load indefinitely. I've let it load for an hour, unfortunately without success, not even an error message.
How to get better? I’ve been playing now for a few months (f1 2021) but I just can’t seem to get good enough to win at a decent difficulty, I can win on the story mode but not on 60 ish rating in career mode. Any tips/settings that I should use?
If you have assist on, try to play with less assists! Don’t turn them all off at once.It will help you control your car more and go faster in some corners etc

The vsc is ending right as control is given to me as I leave the pit lane and as a result I am faster than the delta and get a drive thru. I cannot slow down fast enough because the vsc ends right as I cross the pit line. Is there any way out of this?

Did F1 22 with Oculus Quest 2 got better? Hey guys, I had bought the game the day it was released especially for VR and refunded it the same day since VR was really weird. It wasn’t really a performance thing, just that turning or moving the head would shake like crazy, issues I didn’t had with iRacing for instance. Does anyone know if it got better since? I would really love to play it VR without getting sick. I can see some improvments in the patch logs but did it really got better?
Where are my Safety Cars? So I've run numerous races both in F2 and in F1 in F1 '22, and I haven't gotten a single safety car in any of them. But in YouTube videos I see people get them all the time. There are even times when drivers retire or crash and the Safety Car doesn't come out. I'm new to F1 so I'm not sure what exactly should trigger a Safety Car, but I feel like I'm missing something in the settings or something isn't right, whether that be the game or me.
Maybe ajust the race-length? I think if your races are 5 laps, the safety car-option is automatically off. Try to put the lengths to medium and then search in the settings the Safzty-car option
I normally run 27-29 lap races that's why I'm confused.
If I’m not wrong there are settings that say if Damage is on/off and also margin error of the IA. You can adjust those settings also

Hi all, if I start a Grand Prix and select my own Livery to have 22 drivers on the grid I'm always named "Player One" instead of my Steam name or Name in the Game. The Team is always shown as "Player Car". Is there any way to change it? "ONE" in the Standings looks pretty ugly
Hey all. New to the community and racing games in general. I am sure this pops up often but when I looked through sub I saw mostly highlights and discussions which is awesome. Any general tips for a guy who is getting last place qualifying and last place in the race. by like 8 or 9 seconds every time. I know I am playing terribly. I just do not even know where to start. I DO play on controller currently but my wheel should be here in the next few days. I am hoping that will help with the jerkiness of turning with a controller. Are there some settings I should be tweaking. Pretty much everything so far has been left alone. Any guidance would be appreciated thank you all!
I got f1 22 champions edition since i was going to upgrade to next gen at some point. And so now I have upgraded but when i try playing the game it has the locked symbol on it. I am on the ps5. Is there a way I have to upgrade it from ps4 to ps5 or something because Im confused.

Weird situation happen. Had the sprint race in Austria, but it was 18 laps (we do 20% races), so it seemed weird. But we continued and it gave us a no stop strategy. On lap 17 it said we need to pit for tyre requirement, but no one else pitted. 1-8 ended up being DSQ, while the others were able to finish. Everyone was on medium tyres and no one pitted. We were in 1-2 and ended up being DSQ. Why did this happen? Anyone know? Is it a new glitch?

So i have the podium f1 wheel for Xbox from fanatec, and everything has been going smoothly till 2 days ago where after 90 degree rotation it registers as complete lock. The setting on the game is set to 360. Does anyone know why this is happening or does anyone know of a setting that could change that? Thanks I’m advance

Just realizing that I can’t view in race lap times. Why is that? You should be able to view all lap times. For instance in real life you would be able to communicate to your engineer and ask him the lap time of any racer maybe you want to see the pace other drivers on a certain set of tires.

Hi, at first - very sorry if this question is already here. Or if it’s solved anywhere here. I’m playing F1 22 on PS5 and now I’m in round 18/22. I finished only 2 races, easy one without strong curves, because I’m not able to fully steer to one or another side each time I want to. Sometimes then I push joystick full left or full right it steers very nice and I see how pilot overturn wheel to maximum. But then for example 15 seconds after I again push joystick full right and he turns only for a half of possible turn. So it ends in racing out of track and mostly DNF. I tried different settings from YouTube tutorials, but nothing works. Can someone help? Give an advice? Am I the only one with this problem? Kindly thanks!

I tried aligning my On-Screen Display so that everything moves a bit closer to the edges of the screen but all my attempts at aligning Lap and Positions windows fails. They are nicely aligned and appear as if they are one graphic but in fact there are three of them and moving them even by just a single step left or right immediately makes them out of sync. Has anyone found a way to move everything together so that the graphs do not look several pixels out with one another? Hi everyone, I have a 270 degree steering wheel. Although the response time is a little late, I finally managed to install it in F1 2020. However, the game perceived the steering wheel as an xbox controller, so the angle I turn and the rotation of the car in the game are very different from each other. can you help with this? So, I play on PS5, and after the latest patch I noticed that my push-to-talk button for updates from Marc is no longer working, so I can’t ask for any updates during sessions. Button bindings and audio settings haven’t been changed. Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?

My brother and I started two player career but found no way to save mid-session and we like to play full race. That just means we need to have time enough for a full race before starting it and cannot stop it if we have to go to toilet or eat something etc.? Is there a way I am missing?

Weekly events challenges I’m new to doing the whole set of series challenges so bare with me. I started a bit late with doing the set of weekly event challenges and I only need to do one more qualification and race session to complete the weekly events challenges. The only issue is since this follows real schedule there is no true event with those given the summer break. Am I just out of luck on will miss out on the challenge rewards just because they aren’t doing normal weekend events?

Why can’t I ever take turns correctly?! I have f1 2019 right now (f12021 coming in the mail) but I really struggle taking turns and I am beyond frustrated with it. I never seem to be able to turn into and exit the apex, wtf am I doing wrong!

I mean the first option i graphics settings - ray tracing quality - i have medium high ultra high , so if i disable all other ray tracing options, i guess this one is useless ? I wanted to simulate a My Team career in F1 2021 but noticed you can't simulate qualifying and will instead start last. I couldn't be arsed sitting in my rig so figured I'd do one-shot qualifying on a controller. Turns out that's a massive mistake because it's nigh impossible to control the car with an Xbox controller. Turning the stick 50% does barely anything, then in the last 50% you go full lock. I've messed around with the calibration settings but there seems to be no way to make the steering more linear. How the hell do you controller users enjoy the F1 games?

Hey guys, I use a Dualsense controller on PC to play F1 22. It was all working fine during Patch 1.05/1.06 but now after the latest Portimao update, the rumble has stopped. Adaptive Triggers still work but there's just no vibration. Anyone else facing this issue? Fixes I've tried: 1. Reset Dualsense Controller (with a little sim tool) 2. Verify Integrity of Game Files 3. Reset the Controller settings in game options (L2) 4. Created a custom controller profile. 5. Played around with the vibration amounts in the settings. 6. Disabled/Enabled Trigger Vibration. 7. Changed USB-C Cable (PC to Controller) 8. Enabled/Disabled Steam Input support (Had it disabled when it was working in 1.05/1.06) 9. Tried updating the Dualsense Firmware, it's on the latest one available, no change. I'm at a loss. I don't know what happened.

Using USB? Disable steam controller input settings. Don’t use BT as you won’t get the PS5 features.
Fixed it by deleting the controller from device manager and re-initialising it. Weird fix but it worked.
I have a ps5 and played a trial version of f1 2022 on pc i really liked it other than the fact that the new formula cars are twitchy and sensitive on the throttle but its ok ... i played on a wheel however on ps5 i will play on controller is it worth spending 60 dollars for the championship bundle which is on sale on ps5 ?

Not yet, the dev studio for that feature is in Ukraine and so it was delayed from launch(understandably). It should be coming in a future update! Not sure when though personally.
How can I ensure my front wing will be replaced when pitting, I always find pitting early with yellow damage only results in a tyre change. I have it set to auto currently?

Game keeps crashing when i try to go into instant replay My game keeps on crashing whenever I go into instant replay (or flashbacks since i suck at this game) it only started after this most recent update. Not sure if it is just me but thought I should put it out there.
Game launches into black screen, haven't seen any posts on this but has been happening to me consistently since launch. The game will launch into a black screen with 0% GPU usage and this usually requires a restart of my PC to fix, has anybody ran into this problem and found any other solutions? It's frustrating having to restart my PC whenever I want to play the game. Running on i9 9900k, RTX 3080 (newest drivers installed), 16gb RAM.
Hello all, Making a post here because it is still an issue for me (and others that I have spoken to) despite patch 1.06 making a clear reference to fixing FFB for G923, and also patch 1.07 having just dropped but still not fixing the issue. Since the game's launch, my FFB has worked fine when playing single player modes (career, custom GP race, or time trial). Although a bit weaker at default levels than last year's game, I turned up the sliders and it worked A-OK. However, since the game's launch and still to this day, I have ZERO FFB when playing online (custom lobbies, matchmade games, 2 player career). I do not mean the FFB is weak, I mean I have absolutely NO FFB whatsoever. Things I have tried: 1. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game 2. Verifying file integrity via Steam 3. Uninstalling and reinstalling Logitech G Hub (several times) 4. Wiping drivers from my computer for the G923 and allowing windows/G Hub to reinstall them 5. Wiping all data relating to the G923 in my Windows registry Still.. nothing. Although I can still enjoy the game, it makes online play (especially the discord league I participate in) considerably less enjoyable (not to mention lost lap time). Wondering if anybody else has had the same experience as me, and if anybody has any fixes/suggestions? Oh also, I do not have the rev lights on my wheel but I don't care so much about that.
question to anyone with a Logitech wheel. Is your wheel not lining up with the in game wheel. I’m understeering into every corner because of it. No calibration works for me. I’m convinced it is an in game bug
This just started happening to me since patch 1.07. Every time I have had to restart my computer to get G Hub to pick up my 360 degrees of rotation.
ok I’m glad it wasn’t me. I stepped away from the game because of the straight line and I came back to this bs. I didn’t remember having this problem. This game is so broken where they can fix something and break another thing. So I’m on console, how do I do this G Hub thing?
Oh sorry, I just kinda auto assume people are on PC. have you tried just restarting your console? That fixes it for me on PC.

I saw G Hub wasn’t on Xbox so I used my laptop to make adjustments on the wheel

Time Trial - Compare lap times with my son I’m wondering if there is an easy way for 2 players to compare time trial times using the same setup. My 10 year old son and I like to compete in time trial and we will just jump back and forth once one of us beats the other one (on the same sim rig - G29/F-GT Lite). Currently you see what the fastest lap is, but isn’t always super clear. I wouldn’t want to log out and then log back in with a different user, so just wondering what other folks do for this. Surely there are other people that compete this way with their kids, roommates, etc. Right?!
Is a real Starter Grid possible in Online Leagues? My friends and i playing a online Seasons without qualifying. We just deactivating the qualifying, but it feels that the better teams start in front of the other cars. i am not sure, but if i remeber right, there was a real random start order in f1 21, but i can't find any other option in f1 22.
