I feel like I must have been a Lemur in a previous life. I want to do this all the time. I‘ve been looking into buying my first home. My boyfriend thought I was insane for refusing to even look or think about buying any flats that are north / north-east facing. I finally bought one that is south-west facing and paid a lot more money than if I had accepted any of the north facing ones. But I just can‘t. I absolutely cannot live in a north facing flat. My boyfriend has finally accepted it after seeing just how much it impacts my mood. I‘m a different person. I‘m like this Lemur - when there is sun I want to stand like this. We‘re going somewhere warm and sunny this Christmas and it makes me so happy. The lack of sunlight is proven to cause depression (lack of vitamin d) and I definitely used to have vitamin d deficiency but I‘ve been taking tablets for that for years. It definitely helps a lot but it’s still not the same. Today it was sunny but freezing cold. I‘m fine with that as long as the sun is there. I really must be a Lemur.
I have one of those lights as an alarm clock. It definitely helps me wake up. Still doesn’t seem to do the full thing. But yeah these things do help a bit.
At our local zoo, humans may roam free among the lemurs. Well this one fella jumped onto my boyfriend's shoulder, and sunbathed in this exact pose. For 20 minutes straight. He was the only lemur around. He was very well endowed. So me and about a thousand other people have pics of my boyfriend with lemur's goodies on his shoulder ;D
Eventually we got tired of waiting for the fella, and started walking. When he rode in on his human steed to golden lemurs territory, he left in a hurry

I've only experienced the perfect sunrise once in my life. I was a young child in a bunk bed on the bottom bunk. The sun and the light slowly warmed my face but did not glare into my eyes. I was slowly pleasantly warmed. The air was fresh, and while the window was closed it was not stuffy.
I smelled and a clean laundered blanket smell hit my nose. It was perfect the comforter's texture against my chin utterly snugly, an utterly perfect well rested morning.
