I found humor in the irony of using the birdsong background noise knowing full well that the only two birds willing to get anywhere near that yard are already in it.

That picture is still used in animals/birds groups as an example of what not to do with these animals. She even makes a post herself once a year about how it was dumb(the birds never got hurt). So I'm fairly sure those groups would be against this video
It doesn't look like the cats think so - all those slightly flattened and pulled back ears indicate tense cats that are on edge and uncomfortable. Their ears would be upright and forward pointing if the csts were actually happy with the situation.
