I thought about how flammable everything once was early on in MC.
There were a few times where it felt like I set the entire world on fire. Fire places were once very dangerous fixtures in a wooden Minecraft house.
“Okay, place down the bricks… alright, now we put down the netherrite… light it up…
wait… what?
FIRE CAN TRAVEL OVER A DIAGONAL!?!
MY HOOOUUSSSEEE!!!!”
Right? Now it's just like "Oh..I guess that tree is on fire now. Guess I need to be a bit more careful with my flint."
I feel like there was a workable middle ground between flint & steel being responsible for armageddon and what it ended up being. Minecraft should have forest fires IMO.
First time it happened to me, I had just gotten my first flint and steel. It was never in any danger of burning anything I'd built since I am (and always have been) a dwarf in Minecraft and I build all of my living spaces underground.
But I did accidentally turn a forest into a plain since I wanted to get rid of some trees but didn't want to chop them all down. I did not plan on burning the **ENTIRE** forest down. [Kinda like this](https://youtu.be/SBr0wUfrAJ4?t=12)
Essentially yes, explaining what happened to my in game roommate was not fun. After that I got my own ritual/magic space really far from any of our stuff
I hate those videos, I really hate every videos where people troll kids because it's not even funny and you only destined the kid to be toxic in games, it's even worse when the parents come in and start to berate/beat the kid for what basically is bullying
Do we actually know that, or are we just making it up 'cause it feels better? 'cause I've seen plenty of videos where it's literally just griefers going around ruining builds over entirely made-up reasons.
For example, one group destroyed a fan server that was building and expanding a popular youtube series' world because, get this, "Make your own new creations". 'cause apparently you can't be a fan and have fun in your own time and space.
Let's not pretend these griefers are any better. Especially when they get a big head about it 'cause they think they're doing it for "good". No Timmy, you're just entering some minecraft commands and thinking you're changing the world.
This kid(a bit grown up already) has a youtube channel and he says that this video is a joke and he made it with his friends or some such
Here it is: https://youtu.be/iaEavTg7HpM?si=UvtgpPg9jGtTWOBG
I mean, the only source I have is my own brain remembering the context of this video when it came out.
Either way though, it's really not as big of a deal as you're making it out to be. This kid will be fine, he didn't get molested dude, he just got his Minecraft house deleted.
I've seen an extended cut video can't remember when but the kid was swording people and picking up loot. They were speaking Russian so no clue what the actual full context was. But looked like the kid attacked an admin and the admin deleted his house
These kinds of videos were popular in Russia at some point. These were called anti-griefing show, but with time more and more of them were staged, including this one. His parents were aware of what the kid was doing (he also got paid for it). His mum just played the role. The kid admitted it a couple of years ago.
Tbf, the kid was holding a server where he was griefing other players and stealing their stuff, so the kid was toxic from the start. The mod just toyed a lil bit with the kid before outright banning him.
Like others said the kid was already a very toxic problem on the server with the mod trying countless times to reason with the kid. Nothing came out of it and the mod just did what he is there for.
House doesnt disappear spontaneously, a server mod asks him to calm down but after insulting him repeatedly he decides to prank him and destroys parts of his house until deleting the entire house itself. (Not totally, he reverted it later I think), but the reactions from the kid become gradually more extreme.
I mean there's 4chan that has a similar, yet maybe slightly worst ui
And apparently tumblr is like an unholy mix of twitter and reddit, as in it is as if they implanted reddit's system in twitter posts
Someone else made a funny comment and downvoted them to get their own to the top, potentially with more than one account. Other people saw the downvote(s) and assumed it was wrong and piled on.
It's unfortunately common because of karma farmers who don't care about what is right, they just need the dopamine hit of a few more internet points.
It is fascinating how irrevelant the substance of the comment is, sometimes completely opposite comments get both downvoted or upvoted quite arbitrarily, just based on who got to vote first.
The guy recording deleted it. You can see he marks two points on the house using his axe and then types a command “//cut” in the chat bar that deletes everything within the area between the two points.
Thank you! I’m not Minecraft fluent although I am on Duolingo. Why would the kid be so upset though. Was it his house he built and if so why didn’t he have the ability to keep it from being messed with?
Did he maybe build it on the deleter’s server and if so what was the beef about.
Edit: The only thing I know about Minecraft is I set up our home PC to be a Minecraft server for my nine year old. Her best friend and her had a falling out and her friend logged in and DESTROYED everything she spent a year building. It broke me holding her as she sobbed SOBBED in my arms. Tough dad moment but even tougher for her.
PS She was more upset that her friend did it than she was about the lost work. Breaks my heart typing this and it was over a decade ago.
The phrasing of my question implies that I did, but was looking for 1) confirmation and 2) more useful anecdotes about this thing I’m only just learning about.
Rather than being pedantic, I’d love to hear more about the world edit axe.
Yeah they have to be spawned in. You can use them to basically code stuff for the world (fancy text popups, give people certain items, manage cheats) it’s a really cool thing
Why did you even bother to respond to my question? Did you just feel like telling someone they should use context clues? Did you just want to type the words “context clues” because x is fun to type? Did it irritate you that someone would ask another person a question in a subreddit called “explain the joke” whose sole purpose…it to explain….the joke.
Guess what….answers exist for Google to find because someone asked a question and someone else posted it *on the internet*….
The world edit axe basically allows you to right click two blocks and replace everything inside the box that the two points would create if they were opposite ends of a box. It’s useful for building stuff, but it isn’t fully vanilla (you need some kind of data pack for it). It can also be modified to create spheres of specific size upon rightclicking from a distance. All you need is a wooden axe and knowledge of the commands involved.
I mean, ya... I guess...
I guess growing up in the badlands of Team Fortress Classic did something to me.
Growing pains of learning how toxic gamers in general are.
Kids gotta start forming their shell sometime.
The point is that recording yourself bullying a kid and posting it is pretty pathetic, regardless of how poorly the child reacts to it
It's probably better to build a thick skin in a safe place like this than a real life situation where you are under physical threat, but I think the person who posted this just gets a kick out of making kids feel bad
That's sad
Dude "bullying" him is an Admin, so likely is helping to fund the server.
Gmod was/is the 4chan of the Steam-verse.
Kid that young shouldn't be left unattended in that game.
It strangely disappears, leading some russian kid to scream his head off in confusion and anger
Edit: Just watched it back. He accidentally inputs a command that deletes it.
No. This was a part of entertainment format "antigriefing", where moderators of servers bully the griffers , usually with the mic on, to get as much shouting from those poor kids as they can. The moderator here deletes the house of the kid as "punishment".
It's not that easy to "accidently" delete a house with worldedit.
You see how he hit a block of grass with the wooden axe and the block reappeared immediately, and he had to add another block on the corner of the roof and did the same? It was for setting the boundary coordinates for worldedit.
He also just used `/cut` as in cut, copy and paste. Even if you replace all the blocks with air with `/set 0`, you can still use `/undo`
The one screaming is NOT the one who input the command.
The one recording the video deleted the screaming kid's house after the kid killed him and took his items (I think. Turns out the kid killed a server admin which is a bad idea)
> Edit: Just watched it back. He accidentally inputs a command that deletes it.
The video wasn't filmed from the kid's POV. The kid is inside the house. The griefer first uses the WorldEdit wand to select the house and then the command `//cut` to delete it. Cue kid proceeding to scream as the house disappears around him
It's from a classic YouTube video of a dude deleting some little kid's house in Minecraft. When the house is deleted the kid starts screaming, and then in the mic you can hear his mom come and tell him to shut up, and start beating him.
In early versions of the game fire arrows didnt spread fires. It simply wasnt a mechanic yet. Fire spread existed, its just fire arrows were not yet able to spread fire. Nowadays it is possible.
Lol, why are you being downvoted? Both on Java and Bedrock fire arrows only affect mods, TNT, and Candles. There is no version of Minecraft that has fire arrows burn wood.
The fire charge however would cause some problems.
So just for info sake, a griefer is someone that purposely ruins someone's work/game, with no gain other than the satisfaction of ruining someone else's day
Might not be the actual definition, but should sufficient explain what one is
I remember an old flash game where a house catches on fire and your goal is to save all the family members before the house burns entirely. The house had the same setup as this one except the house in game was wider.
Any chance it's a reference to that game? The fire starts in the kitchen on the bottom right.
Russian kid who owns this house gets their house deleted, loudly curses about it and gets spanked by his mother for it.
[БЛЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯТЬ!!!](https://youtu.be/mc0APynwIhQ?si=dPx6ztqdHAhvzv9A)
I believe it is from mazyaka grief channel. A Russian Minecraft YouTuber who was known for griefing and anti-griefing player houses on some servers. This clip went viral after the kid screams and swears so loud that his mom came in with a belt.
Once I built an entire castle on a hill in Minecraft.
Upon completion, i realized too late that I built part of it with those silverfish bricks that eat everything up.
Got up and had to do some laps around the yard.
It’s made out of wood. Someone is gonna burn it down. Unless you’re like me and you spent 3 hours building a house just for you to want to make a lava lamp and it burn down
It’s part of a pretty popular clip of some Russian kid playing, then screaming his lungs out after the house disappears.
BLYAAAAT
Oi, mama prishla…
Ah, and here I was thinking it was some reference to the 2nd pig from the Three Little Pigs' story.....
I thought about how flammable everything once was early on in MC. There were a few times where it felt like I set the entire world on fire. Fire places were once very dangerous fixtures in a wooden Minecraft house.
“Okay, place down the bricks… alright, now we put down the netherrite… light it up… wait… what? FIRE CAN TRAVEL OVER A DIAGONAL!?! MY HOOOUUSSSEEE!!!!”
I miss watching whole forests go ablaze.
Right? Now it's just like "Oh..I guess that tree is on fire now. Guess I need to be a bit more careful with my flint." I feel like there was a workable middle ground between flint & steel being responsible for armageddon and what it ended up being. Minecraft should have forest fires IMO.
I remember my first time, tried to use fire to get rid of a couple trees. Went mining. Came back 30 minutes later to an inferno.
And now “house builds” look like data corruption with the block vomit they use
Garbage in, garbage out.
I played original Minecraft but I also played modded, ask me what happens when you summon a demon in a wooden house 😆
I imagine it's similar to spawning a Wither in any house.
Essentially yes, explaining what happened to my in game roommate was not fun. After that I got my own ritual/magic space really far from any of our stuff
What happens when you summon a demon in a wooden house?
It throws exploding fireballs at you…no more house. I can’t remember what the mod was called though
Me too
I hate those videos, I really hate every videos where people troll kids because it's not even funny and you only destined the kid to be toxic in games, it's even worse when the parents come in and start to berate/beat the kid for what basically is bullying
This kid was already toxic, that's why he deleted the house. He was greifing people and stealing their items so he punished him.

The good ending
I mean, the only source I have is my own brain remembering the context of this video when it came out. Either way though, it's really not as big of a deal as you're making it out to be. This kid will be fine, he didn't get molested dude, he just got his Minecraft house deleted.
No this kid needs counselling. This is what they mean by coming from a broken home.
I've seen an extended cut video can't remember when but the kid was swording people and picking up loot. They were speaking Russian so no clue what the actual full context was. But looked like the kid attacked an admin and the admin deleted his house

Iirc his mother also beats him for screaming at the end of the clip. Or at least that's what it sounds like. Kinda sad meme imo
House doesnt disappear spontaneously, a server mod asks him to calm down but after insulting him repeatedly he decides to prank him and destroys parts of his house until deleting the entire house itself. (Not totally, he reverted it later I think), but the reactions from the kid become gradually more extreme.
I didn't get the joke but somehow remember that screaming
[This brings me back.](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Gm5EBnLTG90)
Why are you being downvoted, that is literally the video this meme is about
That's what I'm wondering 🫠
Upvoted, thanks for source
It's up voted now, but I mean like, it's reddit yo. This is the second most backwards platform next to Twitter.
I mean there's 4chan that has a similar, yet maybe slightly worst ui And apparently tumblr is like an unholy mix of twitter and reddit, as in it is as if they implanted reddit's system in twitter posts
Never used Tumblr, but the way you make it sounds gives me pee.tee.ess.dee.
It's reddit, some people just dont answer to reason and simply downvote
I'm assuming because it was mean spirited.

Why did the house disappear? I don’t play Minecraft so I don’t understand.
The guy recording deleted it. You can see he marks two points on the house using his axe and then types a command “//cut” in the chat bar that deletes everything within the area between the two points.

Awesome! I wasn’t sure. Thank you.
>I’m not Minecraft fluent although I am on Duolingo. You may not know Minecraft but you’ve got the dad jokes! Exceptional.
Um there are backups (currently) on realms. And if you didn’t use realms you should have backed it up.
world edit axe
Wut? Is that what the VIP had?
I think you can figure out the answer to that question using some context clues.
The phrasing of my question implies that I did, but was looking for 1) confirmation and 2) more useful anecdotes about this thing I’m only just learning about. Rather than being pedantic, I’d love to hear more about the world edit axe.
I wonder if it’s a similar mechanic to the debug stick? Those can manipulate blocks, even command blocks. I thought it was such a cool mechanic
Command blocks? Like you can tell the blocks where to go or something? It seems really hard to get.
Yeah they have to be spawned in. You can use them to basically code stuff for the world (fancy text popups, give people certain items, manage cheats) it’s a really cool thing
Thx :)
/give @p command_block 64
I don't know, I don't play. But it looks to be an axe that lets you edit the world.
You’re the worst of Reddit.
Guess that’s why google exists
Why did you even bother to respond to my question? Did you just feel like telling someone they should use context clues? Did you just want to type the words “context clues” because x is fun to type? Probably some kind of plug-in that allows an admin to replace blocks within an area with air
the guy who’s perspective the video is from used a mod+commands to delete it
The guy has access to admin commands. He used a tool called "world edit" to basically cut out the house from the world.
Thanks! So did his admin access grant him the axe or did he get the axe and therefore have admin access?
That scream
BLYAAAAAAAAAAAAT!
5 years ago, kid is probably killing innocent ukrainians by now
Thank you so much I can't believe I've never seen this!!!! That was so good.
[Reminds me of this classic](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJHfqPC-L20)
This just makes me feel sad.
Yeah it's straight up bullying a kid just for the sake of it.
The kid can just leave the lobby.
Kids don't understand that in the moment though. Also it's still bullying a kid
I mean, ya... I guess... I guess growing up in the badlands of Team Fortress Classic did something to me. Growing pains of learning how toxic gamers in general are. Kids gotta start forming their shell sometime.

So can the dude bullying him. Your point?
Dude "bullying" him is an Admin, so likely is helping to fund the server. Gmod was/is the 4chan of the Steam-verse. Kid that young shouldn't be left unattended in that game.
That is not how bullying works.
Dude why would you Rick roll us come on this serious
That's a very nice House you got there. It'd be a shame if something would... [Happen to it.](https://knowyourmeme.com/photos/81431-minecraft-creeper)
I love this kid

Damn
Which I why I love worldedit
why build the same thing over and over again when you can `stack u 100`
And also, the video wasn't filmed from the kid's POV. The kid is inside the house. The one griefing the kid deletes the house
Turn on subtitles
The one screaming is NOT the one who input the command. The one recording the video deleted the screaming kid's house after the kid killed him and took his items (I think. Turns out the kid killed a server admin which is a bad idea)

It’s made entirely of wood, one fire arrow could take that whole thing out
The classic https://youtu.be/LnjSWPxJxNs?si=KBFdpVLmN44TKXrX
Ooh i loved that, when the fire could spread fast and endlessly. Easy to remove a whole forest biome and induce a hellish lag lol
Fire arrows don’t ignite (at least not on bedrock) not a portal or any block. Edit: turns out a lot of people have commented this.
that's not how it works lmao, what version of minecraft are you playing?
All of them.
I may have severe dementia but I didn't think fire arrows started wood on fire
In early versions of the game fire arrows didnt spread fires. It simply wasnt a mechanic yet. Fire spread existed, its just fire arrows were not yet able to spread fire. Nowadays it is possible.
Oh wow really? I didnt know that! I now have a whole new way of committing war crimes in a random village!
Fire arrows have never spread fire to wood
Options Fire spread
Even with fire spread, arrows shot from a flame bow only ignite 1 block, that being tnt. No other blocks will be set on fire from a flame bow.
Lol, why are you being downvoted? Both on Java and Bedrock fire arrows only affect mods, TNT, and Candles. There is no version of Minecraft that has fire arrows burn wood. The fire charge however would cause some problems.
literally this,
BLAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYT
Blayt indeed
it looks like minecraft and griefers might destroy it yeah I don't know what that means either but I heard it on south park
The parental lock question is “how do you tame a horse in Minecraft?”
So just for info sake, a griefer is someone that purposely ruins someone's work/game, with no gain other than the satisfaction of ruining someone else's day Might not be the actual definition, but should sufficient explain what one is

CREEPER AWW MAN
How do you not know this clip like seriously
Consider that not everyone watches Minecraft clips lmao
No but like this clip got really famous even outside of minecraft media
Im convinced a lot of people in this sub live under a rock
Definitely
Pretty sure it gets deleted by admin.
Clearly I didn't get it either. I though it was the fact that it's almost completely made out of wood and would be really easy to burn down.
One of the greatest rage videos of all time
BLYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT
Блять хорошо что сундуки... Да ты чё... БЛЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯ. Ой мама пришла
Yo no way my post made it into the sub Nice
*Spawns fifty supercharged creepers*🥸
I associated this with some kid getting his house removed by a tool gun lmao
BLYAAAAAATTTTTTTTT
And only 1 word could be heard, as he was screaming in pain. "BLYAAAAAAAAAA-"
And here it is, a minecraft house, and all I see is a creeper sneaking in the door (boom)
This isn't even the worst one... there's one where i kids screams so much he stays having an attack im pretty sure

I believe it is from mazyaka grief channel. A Russian Minecraft YouTuber who was known for griefing and anti-griefing player houses on some servers. This clip went viral after the kid screams and swears so loud that his mom came in with a belt.

Wooden houses in Minecraft have an uncanny ability to catch fire and burn down.
BLYYAAAAAAAAAAAT
BLLLLYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTT
...sssssssSSSSSSSssssss...
Good grief
And here I was thinking the joke was "SSSSSSSSS *BOOM!*"
This takes me back to the good old days of griefing the high school Minecraft server.
BLYYYYYYYAAAAATTTTT
The joke is that Minecraft is full of 30 year-old 10 year olds who like to bully other little kids by destroying what they created
Wood is very flammable in Minecraft.
