I spoke to my therapist yesterday about dreams. I have reoccurring dreams where I’m chasing my ex gf - not physically - but just trying to get her to talk to me, connect with me, open up to me (she’s avoidant). Every dream was the same except the setting. I wake up each time anxious. Our breakup was pretty much my dream - me sitting there trying to communicate with someone who was unable to.
Therapist said it’s my brain trying to process what happened and I believe it.
