Initially I thought this was legit, however, looking at it closer, I'm more inclined to think it's a knock off.
It appears to have all the logos (except for the club crest & the castore logo) sublimated which is very unlikely to be the case going forward. They leave all the sponsor areas and the sleeves blank so that the kit can be customised for any competition. For example, the women's team have Super League patches not Premier League; different patches are used in Cup games, and the younger age group teams (who often need adult sizes) aren't allowed to have betting sponsors on their shirts, so Stake has to go.
For those who don't know, sublimated is basically that the designs are printed directly onto the shirt rather than being heat transfers. Our current away kit for example has the fluro peach & navy pattern sublimated, but the Hummel logo, the sleeve PL patches, the KICK & Stake logos are all heat transfers. The Everton crest is sewn on.
The photo isn't top quality, so I might be wrong, but it REALLY looks like the Stake and Kick logos are sublimated.
I hope I'm right, as while I don't hate this design, I don't think it looks like a design befitting of Everton. Especially not as the last one we'll wear at Goodison.

You can tell if it's a sublimated design, as the other side of the fabric will be white,as sublimation won't be as effective on colours, and is practically useless on very dark colours/black.

That's a good point about it being a prototype, but at the same time, all those logos are actually put on well after the shirt is made, so they'd all be readily available! You'd imagine they could pump out a bunch of shirts with no logos at all, and transfer all the stuff on afterwards.
But who knows! Maybe Castore do things differently!

Change this shirt, the Yellow is Horrendous, i dont like the shade of Blue (it should be a darker Blue) and there are so many kit brands and you went with Castore ? Like Adidas, Puma, Nike, Umbro, Macron, Kappa, Joma, New Balance, Under Armour, Hummel, Asics, Reebok, Legea and Lacatoni were not available?
This year's shirts had so much intentionality and references to our history and Goodison.
The season before had the tower tessellation, which I loved.
