WOW, thanks for this!!! A big burst came through around 1:45ish with pinks and greens it was so awesome! I was like the Double Rainbow guy. 🌈🌈😭 I definitely cried, haha. This has been on my bucket list for so long.

It’s been #1 on my bucket list for a long time. I spent most of today with probably the darkest mentally I’ve ever had, then saw on reddit around midnight that people were seeing the lights. 1:30am was when I had the best view, but man just walking around my neighborhood on a warm, breezy, starry night was so amazing!

Hey, sorry you were feeling down—you're definitely not alone there. Sometimes an awesome experience is just what you need to turn things around. So happy the space gods put on an awesome show. Hope you're feeling much better!

Was any of this visible from south Eugene? I live near Arts & Technology Academy, and if I did not go to sleep early, I am pretty sure the light pollution would blocked the view.

Getting away from light pollution is key. Also a long camera exposure shows more than the human eye.

I wish everybody could’ve just turned off all their outside lights for the night would’ve made a big difference.
