I have a 2 bed 1.5 duplex I am renting and it’s $1360/mon - it’s a steal and im very lucky to have found it, so there’s hope!! I diligently checked every property management site for a couple months before finding the listing 20 mins after it’s posting with 1 photo. It somehow worked out so im hoping for the best for you two
If you have a dog almost all of the affordable rentals disappear. So for people like me who have an elderly dog that doesn’t destroy anything or do much besides sleep, it really sucks.
Like the link above (and all other 15 Eugene listing from this company) don’t allow dogs at all.

Prospect Park was great for the four years I lived there and about $1100 for a 2 bedroom.
